తెలంగాణలో మే 25 నుంచి ‘మహిళా వారోత్సవాలు’
మహిళా సాధికారత కోసం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక కార్యాచరణ రూపొందించింది. మే 25 నుంచి 31 వరకు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ‘మహిళా వారోత్సవాలు’ నిర్వహించనుంది. ప్రజా పాలన – ప్రగతి ప్రణాళికలో భాగంగా ఈ వారోత్సవాలు జరుగనున్నాయి. గ్రామీణ మహిళలు, ఎస్హెచ్జీ(SHG), యువతులు, బాలికలకు ప్రత్యేక కార్యక్రమాలు ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నారు. మహిళల ఆర్థిక స్వావలంబనపై ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించింది. ఈ సందర్భంగా జీవనోపాధి యూనిట్లు, రుణమేళాలు, అవగాహన సదస్సులను నిర్వహించనున్నారు. మే 29న హైదరాబాద్లో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి చేతుల మీదుగా ఇంక్యుబేటర్ కార్యక్రమం ప్రారంభంకానుంది. మహిళా పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలను ప్రోత్సహించే దిశగా ఈ కార్యక్రమం జరగనుంది.ఎస్హెచ్జీ మహిళలతో 450 ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల ఫ్లాగ్ ఆఫ్, 0.5 మెగావాట్ సౌర విద్యుత్ ప్లాంట్ల ప్రారంభం, మహిళా సంఘాలకు బ్యాంకు రుణాలు, వడ్డీలేని లోన్లు విడుదల వంటి కార్యక్రమాలు జరుగనున్నాయి. టీనేజ్ బాలికలతో మాక్ పార్లమెంట్ నిర్వహణ, మహిళా సంఘ భవనాలు, గోదాములకు శంకుస్థాపనలు, కోళ్ల పెంపకం, సూక్ష్మ పరిశ్రమల యూనిట్ల గ్రౌండింగ్ వంటి కార్యక్రమాలు కూడా జరగనున్నాయి. దివ్యాంగులకు బ్యాటరీ వాహనాల పంపిణీ, తేనెటీగల పెంపకం, బయో ఇన్పుట్ సెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటు, మహిళల భద్రత కోసం ప్రత్యేక వింగ్ కార్యక్రమాలు, టీనేజ్ బాలికలకు సైకిళ్ల పంపిణీ, ఆరోగ్య శిబిరాలు, ఉచిత ఆరోగ్య పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించనున్నారు. వారోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఇందిరమ్మ చీరలను పంపిణీ చేయనున్నారు.

మహిళా సంఘాలను గ్రామీణ ఆర్థిక శక్తులుగా తీర్చిదిద్దడమే లక్ష్యమని మంత్రి సీతక్క స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఈ వారోత్సవాల ద్వారా మహిళలు ఆర్థికంగా, సామాజికంగా సాధికారత సాధించడానికి ప్రభుత్వం అన్ని విధాలా సహకరిస్తుందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా వివిధ స్థాయిల్లో ఈ కార్యక్రమాలు ఘనంగా నిర్వహించేందుకు అన్ని ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టినట్లు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది.

Telangana to Host Women Empowerment Week from May 25
The Telangana government has designed a special action plan for women empowerment. As part of the “Praja Palana – Pragati Pranalika” initiative, the state will organize “Mahila Varotsavalu” (Women’s Week Celebrations) across Telangana from May 25 to May 31.
Special programs will be conducted for rural women, Self-Help Group (SHG) members, young women, and teenage girls. The government is focusing particularly on women’s economic self-reliance. As part of the celebrations, livelihood units, loan melas, and awareness seminars will be organized.
On May 29, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate an incubator program in Hyderabad aimed at encouraging women entrepreneurs.
The celebrations will also include:
- Flagging off 450 RTC buses with SHG women
- Launch of 0.5 MW solar power plants
- Distribution of bank loans and interest-free loans to women’s groups
- Mock Parliament sessions with teenage girls
- Foundation stone ceremonies for women’s association buildings and warehouses
- Grounding of poultry farming and micro-industry units
- Distribution of battery-operated vehicles to differently-abled persons
- Bee-keeping and bio-input center initiatives
- Special women’s safety wing programs
- Distribution of bicycles to teenage girls
- Health camps and free medical check-ups
As part of the week-long celebrations, Indiramma sarees will also be distributed in urban areas.
“Our Goal is to Transform Women into Economic Forces”: Seethakka
Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka stated that the government’s objective is to transform women’s groups into strong rural economic forces. She said the government is committed to supporting women in achieving economic and social empowerment through these celebrations.
The government also announced that all arrangements are being made to conduct the events grandly across the state at various levels.
