సంగారెడ్డి, అక్టోబర్‌ 2: తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాల్లో రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి, కేటీఆర్‌ ఆస్తుల వ్యవహారం మరోసారి చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఏ. రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి, బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ వర్కింగ్‌ ప్రెసిడెంట్‌ కేటీఆర్‌ ఆస్తులపై సిట్టింగ్‌ జడ్జితో సమగ్ర విచారణ జరిపించాలని బీజేపీ మెదక్‌ ఎంపీ రఘునందన్‌రావు డిమాండ్‌ చేశారు. సంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా రామచంద్రాపురంలో శుక్రవారం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన ఆయన కాంగ్రెస్‌, బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ పార్టీలపై తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేశారు.
రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి, కేటీఆర్‌ ఇద్దరూ తమ ఆస్తులపై విచారణకు సిద్ధంగా ఉంటే, తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టుకు లేఖ రాసి సిట్టింగ్‌ జడ్జితో విచారణ కోరాలని రఘునందన్‌రావు సూచించారు. ఇద్దరూ ఈ అంశంపై సోమవారం వరకు లేఖ రాయాలని ఆయన గడువు విధించారు.
‘ఇద్దరూ లేఖ రాయకపోతే నేనే రాస్తా’
రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి, కేటీఆర్‌ సోమవారం వరకు హైకోర్టుకు లేఖ రాయకపోతే, తానే స్వయంగా తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టుకు లేఖ రాస్తానని రఘునందన్‌రావు ప్రకటించారు. అంతేకాకుండా ముగ్గురం కలిసి హైకోర్టు సిట్టింగ్‌ జడ్జికి లేఖ అందజేద్దామని ఆయన ప్రతిపాదించారు.
తన ఆస్తులపై కూడా విచారణ జరిపించాలని కోరుతూ లేఖ ఇస్తానని ఎంపీ స్పష్టం చేశారు. దీంతో రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి ఆస్తులు, కేటీఆర్‌ ఆస్తులు, రఘునందన్‌రావు ఆస్తులపై విచారణ అంశం తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాల్లో కొత్త చర్చకు దారితీసింది.
కాంగ్రెస్‌, బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌పై రఘునందన్‌రావు విమర్శలు
ఈ సందర్భంగా కాంగ్రెస్‌, బీఆర్‌ఎస్‌ పార్టీల నేతలపై రఘునందన్‌రావు తీవ్ర విమర్శలు చేశారు. రెండు పార్టీల్లోని నేతలు అవినీతికి పాల్పడుతున్నారంటూ ఆయన ఆరోపించారు. అయితే ఇవి రఘునందన్‌రావు చేసిన రాజకీయ ఆరోపణలు మాత్రమేనని, వాటిపై స్వతంత్ర న్యాయపరమైన నిర్ధారణ జరిగిందని ఈ వ్యాఖ్యల ఆధారంగా చెప్పలేమని గమనించాలి.

రఘునందన్‌రావు వ్యాఖ్యలకు ముందు నుంచే రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి–కేటీఆర్‌ కుటుంబ ఆస్తులపై విచారణ అంశం రాజకీయ చర్చగా మారింది. అక్టోబర్‌ 1న కేటీఆర్‌ కూడా తన కుటుంబ ఆస్తులతో పాటు రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి కుటుంబ ఆస్తులపై సిట్టింగ్‌ జడ్జితో విచారణకు సిద్ధమని బహిరంగంగా సవాల్‌ చేశారు. తమ ఆస్తుల వివరాలను ఎన్నికల అఫిడవిట్లలో వెల్లడించామని కేటీఆర్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు.
కేటీఆర్‌ తన హోటల్‌ వ్యాపారం 2006లో ప్రారంభించానని, అమెరికాలో ఆరేళ్లు పనిచేసి సంపాదించిన డబ్బుతో వ్యాపారం ప్రారంభించినట్లు తెలిపారు. 2009 ఎన్నికల అఫిడవిట్‌లో తన వ్యాపార వివరాలు పేర్కొన్నట్లు ఆయన చెప్పినట్లు పలు మీడియా సంస్థలు నివేదించాయి.

Sangareddy, October 2, 2026: BJP Medak MP Raghunandan Rao has demanded an inquiry by a sitting judge into the assets of Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and former minister K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), intensifying the ongoing political exchange over the assets and business interests of the two leaders.
Speaking to the media at Ramachandrapuram in Sangareddy district on Friday, Raghunandan Rao alleged that leaders in both the Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) were involved in wrongdoing. These were political allegations made by the BJP MP and are not, by themselves, findings of a judicial or investigative authority.
Raghunandan Rao sets Monday deadline
The BJP MP said Revanth Reddy and KTR should jointly write to the Telangana High Court seeking an inquiry by a sitting judge into their assets.
Raghunandan Rao said the two leaders should submit the letter by Monday. If they fail to do so, he said, he would approach the Telangana High Court himself and write to the court seeking an inquiry into the matter.
He also proposed that, instead of exchanging allegations publicly, Revanth Reddy, KTR and he could jointly approach the sitting judge and request a comprehensive inquiry.
Importantly, Raghunandan Rao said that his own assets should also be examined as part of the proposed inquiry. The statement puts the BJP MP’s assets alongside those of Revanth Reddy and KTR in the proposed judicial scrutiny.
Revanth Reddy-KTR assets row intensifies
The latest statement from Raghunandan Rao on Revanth Reddy and KTR assets comes amid a fresh political dispute between the Telangana Chief Minister and BRS working president KTR.
On Thursday, KTR challenged Revanth Reddy to order a judicial inquiry into the assets of both families. KTR said the inquiry could be conducted by a sitting Supreme Court or High Court judge and maintained that he was prepared to face the consequences if wrongdoing were established.
KTR has also said that details of his business interests and assets were disclosed in his election affidavits. According to reports, he said he started his hotel business in 2006 using money earned during his six years in the United States and that the business information was included in his 2009 election affidavit.
Against this backdrop, Raghunandan Rao’s demand for a sitting judge inquiry into Revanth Reddy and KTR assets adds another political dimension to the controversy.
BJP MP’s challenge to both leaders
Raghunandan Rao’s latest demand is centred on transparency and an independent examination of the assets of the political leaders involved.
