వరంగల్‌: ప్రత్యేక ఓటరు సవరణ జాబితా (SIR) ప్రక్రియ వరంగల్‌ ఉమ్మడి జిల్లాలో ఓటర్ల తీరుపై గణనీయమైన ప్రభావం చూపింది. పట్టణాల్లో నివసిస్తున్నప్పటికీ తమ సొంత గ్రామాల్లో ఓటు హక్కును కొనసాగించేందుకు పలువురు ఓటర్లు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇచ్చారు. ముఖ్యంగా వరంగల్‌ తూర్పు, వర్ధన్నపేట, నర్సంపేట నియోజకవర్గాల్లో పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటును పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు. దీంతో ఒకే వ్యక్తికి రెండు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఓట్లు ఉండే డబుల్‌ ఓటింగ్‌కు అడ్డుకట్ట పడినట్లు ఎన్నికల అధికారులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

ఈ నెల 10వ తేదీతో SIR ప్రక్రియ ముగిసింది. అనంతరం ఎన్నికల సంఘం వెల్లడించిన వివరాల్లో వరంగల్‌ జిల్లాలోని మూడు కీలక నియోజకవర్గాల్లో వేలాది మంది ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటు చిరునామాను శాశ్వతంగా మార్చుకున్న విషయం వెల్లడైంది. పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నివసిస్తున్నప్పటికీ తమ సొంత గ్రామాల్లోనే ఓటు హక్కు కొనసాగించేందుకు వారు పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ ప్రక్రియను ఎంచుకున్నారు.

పల్లె ఓటుపైనే ఆసక్తి ఎందుకు?

విద్య, ఉద్యోగం, వ్యాపారం, ఉపాధి కోసం గ్రామాల నుంచి పట్టణాలకు వలస వచ్చిన కుటుంబాలు చాలాకాలంగా రెండు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఓటు హక్కును కొనసాగిస్తున్న పరిస్థితులు ఉన్నాయని తెలుస్తోంది. కొందరికి సొంత గ్రామంలో ఓటు ఉండటంతో పాటు వారు నివసిస్తున్న పట్టణ ప్రాంతంలోనూ ఓటు నమోదై ఉండేది. అయితే పట్టణాల్లో నివసిస్తున్నప్పటికీ తమ ఓటును సొంత గ్రామంలోనే ఉంచుకోవడానికి పలువురు మొగ్గుచూపారు. గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల్లో ఓటు హక్కు ఉంటే ప్రభుత్వ సంక్షేమ పథకాలు, వ్యవసాయ సంబంధిత ప్రయోజనాలు, ఉపాధి హామీ వంటి పథకాలతో తమకు ప్రయోజనం ఉంటుందని భావించినట్లు సమాచారం. దీంతో SIRలో ఓటు పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ కోసం దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్న వారి సంఖ్య పెరిగింది.

వరంగల్‌ తూర్పులో అత్యధిక పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌

వరంగల్‌ తూర్పు నియోజకవర్గంలో పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ అత్యధికంగా నమోదైంది. ఈ నియోజకవర్గంలో మొత్తం 2,60,437 మంది ఓటర్లు ఉండగా.. వారిలో 30,411 మంది ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటును పర్మినెంట్‌గా షిఫ్టింగ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు.

అంటే నియోజకవర్గంలోని మొత్తం ఓటర్లలో గణనీయమైన సంఖ్యలో ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటు నమోదును మరో ప్రాంతానికి శాశ్వతంగా మార్చుకున్నారన్నమాట. పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నివసించే వారు తమ సొంత గ్రామాలకు ఓటు హక్కును మార్చుకోవడంలో వరంగల్‌ తూర్పు నియోజకవర్గం ముందంజలో నిలిచింది.

వర్ధన్నపేటలోనూ భారీగా ఓటు మార్పులు

వర్ధన్నపేట నియోజకవర్గంలోనూ పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ఓటర్లు పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు. ఈ నియోజకవర్గంలో మొత్తం 2,76,272 మంది ఓటర్లు ఉండగా.. 18,307 మంది ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటును శాశ్వతంగా మరో ప్రాంతానికి మార్చుకున్నారు.

విద్య, ఉద్యోగం, ఉపాధి కోసం పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో నివసిస్తున్నప్పటికీ సొంత గ్రామాల్లో ఓటు హక్కును కొనసాగించాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో ఈ మార్పులు జరిగినట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. SIR ప్రక్రియలో భాగంగా ఓటర్ల వివరాల పరిశీలనకు అవకాశం రావడంతో ఈ మార్పులు వెలుగులోకి వచ్చాయి.

నర్సంపేటలో 7,857 మంది ఓటర్ల షిఫ్టింగ్‌

నర్సంపేట నియోజకవర్గంలో మొత్తం 2,40,244 మంది ఓటర్లు ఉన్నారు. వీరిలో 7,857 మంది ఓటర్లు పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు. మిగిలిన రెండు నియోజకవర్గాలతో పోలిస్తే సంఖ్య తక్కువగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ వేలాది మంది ఓటర్లు తమ ఓటు నమోదును శాశ్వతంగా మార్చుకోవడం గమనార్హం.

మూడు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో 56,575 ఓట్ల పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌

వరంగల్‌ తూర్పు, వర్ధన్నపేట, నర్సంపేట నియోజకవర్గాల గణాంకాలను కలిపి చూస్తే మొత్తం 56,575 మంది ఓటర్లు పర్మినెంట్‌ షిఫ్టింగ్‌ చేసుకున్నారు.

WARANGAL: The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has resulted in a significant number of voters permanently shifting their voter registrations from urban areas to their native villages in three key constituencies of the Warangal region.

According to details released after the completion of the SIR voter revision process on August 10, a total of 56,575 voters in Warangal East, Wardhannapet and Narsampet constituencies have opted for permanent shifting of their voter registrations.

The development is particularly significant because a large number of people from rural areas have moved to towns and cities over the years for education, employment, business and livelihood opportunities. Some of them had voter registrations linked to both their native villages and urban areas.

Warangal East Records Highest Permanent Vote Shifting

Among the three constituencies, Warangal East recorded the highest number of permanent voter shifts.

The constituency has a total of 2,60,437 registered voters. Of these, 30,411 voters opted for permanent shifting of their voter registrations during the SIR process.

The figure makes Warangal East the constituency with the highest number of permanent vote shifting among the three constituencies.

18,307 Voters Shifted in Wardhannapet

In Wardhannapet Assembly constituency, the electoral roll has a total of 2,76,272 voters.

Narsampet Sees 7,857 Permanent Shifts

In Narsampet constituency, there are 2,40,244 voters on the electoral roll.

Of these, 7,857 voters opted for permanent shifting of their voter registrations during the SIR exercise.

Although the number is lower than the figures recorded in Warangal East and Wardhannapet, thousands of voter records were permanently shifted as part of the electoral roll revision.
