హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీ సమావేశాల నేపథ్యంలో అధికార కాంగ్రెస్, ప్రతిపక్ష బీఆర్ఎస్ మధ్య మాటల యుద్ధం మరింత తీవ్రతరమైంది. బీఆర్ఎస్ అధినేత, మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్పై అధికార పక్ష నేతలు చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలను బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు తీవ్రంగా ఖండించారు. కేసీఆర్ చావును కోరుకుంటున్నారంటూ సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డిపై బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్యే వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేశారు.
మంగళవారం అసెంబ్లీ మీడియా పాయింట్ వద్ద మాట్లాడిన వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి.. షాద్నగర్ ఎమ్మెల్యే వీర్లపల్లి శంకర్ మీడియా ముఖంగా కేసీఆర్ చావు గురించి మాట్లాడారని ఆరోపించారు. అంతేకాకుండా కేసీఆర్ ఇంటిపై దాడి చేస్తామని, వెయ్యి డప్పులతో వస్తామని శంకర్ అన్నారని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
‘శంకర్ మాటలు కాదు.. సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాటలు’
వీర్లపల్లి శంకర్ చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలు కేవలం ఆయన వ్యక్తిగత వ్యాఖ్యలు కాదని, వాటి వెనుక ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఉన్నారని వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి ఆరోపించారు. కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు ఎందుకు ఇంత స్థాయికి దిగజారుతున్నారో చెప్పాలని ప్రశ్నించారు.
కేసీఆర్పై అనుచిత వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసిన ఎమ్మెల్యే వీర్లపల్లి శంకర్పై వెంటనే చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని డీజీపీని వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి డిమాండ్ చేశారు. అసెంబ్లీ వేదికగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతున్న తీరుపైనా ఆయన తీవ్ర అభ్యంతరం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
కేసీఆర్ చావు గురించి మాట్లాడినందుకు సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి బేషరతుగా క్షమాపణలు చెప్పాలని వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
‘కేసీఆర్ను రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోవాలి’
కాంగ్రెస్ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అసెంబ్లీకి హాజరుకాకుండా ఎర్రవెల్లిలోని కేసీఆర్ నివాసంపై దాడి చేయాలని చూస్తున్నారని వేముల ప్రశాంత్ రెడ్డి ఆరోపించారు. రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోవాలంటే నేరుగా కేసీఆర్ను రాజకీయంగా ఎదుర్కోవాలని కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలకు సవాల్ విసిరారు.
వీర్లపల్లి శంకర్తో పాటు వేముల వీరేశంపై కూడా డీజీపీ చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన కోరారు.
డైవర్షన్ పాలిటిక్స్ చేస్తున్న కాంగ్రెస్: కేపీ వివేకానంద
అసెంబ్లీ సమావేశాలు సజావుగా కొనసాగాలని కోరుకుంటున్నామని, సభ నిర్వహణకు సహకరించేందుకు బీఆర్ఎస్ సిద్ధంగా ఉందని ఎమ్మెల్యే కేపీ వివేకానంద గౌడ్ తెలిపారు. అయితే అధికార కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ మాత్రం అసలు సమస్యల నుంచి ప్రజల దృష్టిని మళ్లించేందుకు డైవర్షన్ పాలిటిక్స్ చేస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు.
గత అసెంబ్లీ సమావేశాల్లో మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాసరెడ్డి అవినీతికి సంబంధించిన అంశాలను తాము ప్రస్తావించామని కేపీ వివేకానంద గుర్తు చేశారు. ఇప్పుడు ఆ అంశాలపై చర్చ జరగకుండా ఇతర విషయాలను తెరపైకి తెస్తున్నారని విమర్శించారు.
కడియం శ్రీహరిని ముందుపెట్టి కాంగ్రెస్ రాజకీయాలు చేస్తోందని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు. తమను సభలోకి రానివ్వకుండా తమపైనే కేసులు పెట్టారని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేలను అవమానించారని ఆరోపణ
బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేల పట్ల అధికార పక్ష నేతలు అనుచితంగా వ్యవహరించారని కేపీ వివేకానంద గౌడ్ ఆరోపించారు. మంత్రి సీతక్క మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేలను అవమానించేలా మాట్లాడారని విమర్శించారు.
స్పీకర్ను ఉద్దేశించి ఎమ్మెల్సీలు తాతా మధు, నవీన్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి ఎలాంటి అవమానకర వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయలేదని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. అయితే ఈ అంశాన్ని అధికార పార్టీ డైవర్ట్ చేస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు.
బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేలకు కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. డిప్యూటీ సీఎం భట్టి విక్రమార్క కూడా బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేల పట్ల అనుచితంగా మాట్లాడారని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు.
‘రాహుల్ గాంధీని తిడితే కేసీఆర్ ఖండించారు’
కాంగ్రెస్ అగ్రనేత రాహుల్ గాంధీపై అసోం ముఖ్యమంత్రి హిమంత బిశ్వ శర్మ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేసిన సమయంలో కేసీఆర్ బహిరంగంగా ఖండించారని కేపీ వివేకానంద గుర్తు చేశారు.
రాజకీయ విభేదాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ ప్రత్యర్థి నేతల పట్ల గౌరవం ఉండాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. అదే విధంగా ఇప్పుడు బీఆర్ఎస్ మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేల పట్ల చేసిన వ్యాఖ్యలకు కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు క్షమాపణలు చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
అసెంబ్లీ గేటు వద్ద ఏం జరిగింది?: కోవా లక్ష్మీ
అసెంబ్లీ గేటు వద్ద జరిగిన ఘటనపై సమగ్ర విచారణ జరపాలని బీఆర్ఎస్ ఎమ్మెల్యే కోవా లక్ష్మీ ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేలను పోలీసులు అడ్డుకున్నారని, బారికేడ్లు లాగడంతో కొందరు మహిళా ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కింద పడిపోయారని ఆమె ఆరోపించారు.
మహిళా పోలీసులను పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో మోహరించి ఇబ్బందులకు గురిచేశారని కోవా లక్ష్మీ పేర్కొన్నారు. ఎమ్మెల్యేలుగా అసెంబ్లీలోకి వెళ్లే హక్కు తమకు ఉందని, అయినప్పటికీ తమను ఎందుకు అడ్డుకున్నారని ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నించారు.
మంత్రి సీతక్క ఘటనపై తప్పుడు సమాచారం చెబుతున్నారని ఆమె ఆరోపించారు.
‘కేసీఆర్ లేకపోతే తెలంగాణ వచ్చేదా?’
ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అసెంబ్లీలో కేసీఆర్పై తీవ్ర వ్యాఖ్యలు చేస్తున్నారని కోవా లక్ష్మీ విమర్శించారు. ‘ఇప్పుడు సీఎంగా కేసీఆర్ ఉన్నారా?’ అని ప్రశ్నించారు.
రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి పాలన చేయడం చేతకాకపోతే ముఖ్యమంత్రి పదవికి రాజీనామా చేయాలని ఆమె డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
అలాగే కేసీఆర్ ఎందుకు క్షమాపణ చెప్పాలి? అని కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలను ప్రశ్నించారు. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సాధనలో కేసీఆర్ పాత్రను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ.. ‘కేసీఆర్ లేకపోతే తెలంగాణ వచ్చేదా?’ అని ఆమె నిలదీశారు.
వీర్లపల్లి శంకర్పై కేసు నమోదు చేసి, అసెంబ్లీ నుంచి సస్పెండ్ చేయాలని కోవా లక్ష్మీ డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
అసెంబ్లీ సమావేశాల్లో మరింత ముదురుతున్న కాంగ్రెస్–బీఆర్ఎస్ పోరు

KCR Death Remarks BRS Leaders Attack Revanth Reddy Government
Vemula Prashanth Reddy demands unconditional apology from CM Revanth Reddy; BRS leaders accuse Congress of diversion politics
Hyderabad: Political tensions between the ruling Congress and the opposition Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) escalated in Telangana amid a fresh controversy over alleged remarks concerning former Chief Minister and BRS president K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR).
BRS MLA and former minister Vemula Prashanth Reddy on Tuesday launched a strong attack on Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, alleging that the Chief Minister was encouraging remarks wishing for KCR’s death. Speaking at the Assembly media point, Prashanth Reddy demanded an unconditional response from the Chief Minister and action against Congress MLA Veerlapalli Shankar.
According to Prashanth Reddy, Shadnagar MLA Veerlapalli Shankar had allegedly made remarks in the presence of the media about KCR’s death and also spoken about attacking KCR’s residence.
The BRS MLA questioned why Congress leaders were allegedly making such statements and demanded that the Director General of Police (DGP) take immediate action against Shankar.
BRS targets Revanth Reddy over KCR remarks
Vemula Prashanth Reddy alleged that the remarks attributed to Veerlapalli Shankar should not be viewed merely as an individual statement and claimed that they reflected the position of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
He alleged that Shankar had spoken about an attack at KCR’s residence in Erravelli with “a thousand drums.” Prashanth Reddy questioned the language being used by ruling party leaders against the former Chief Minister.
The BRS leader also criticised the Chief Minister’s statements inside the Telangana Assembly and demanded that Revanth Reddy clarify his position.
“Why have Congress leaders stooped to this level?” Prashanth Reddy questioned, while demanding an unconditional apology from the Chief Minister over the alleged remarks concerning KCR.
He further demanded action against MLA Veerlapalli Shankar and Vemula Veeresham.
‘Face KCR politically’: Prashanth Reddy
The BRS MLA alleged that Congress legislators were attempting to target KCR’s residence at Erravelli instead of confronting him politically.
Prashanth Reddy challenged the Congress leadership to face KCR politically if they wanted to challenge him, rather than resorting to alleged personal attacks.
The controversy has added another flashpoint to the ongoing political confrontation between the Congress government and BRS in Telangana.
BRS MLA KP Vivekananda accuses Congress of diversion politics
BRS MLA KP Vivekananda Goud also criticised the ruling Congress, accusing the government and its leaders of engaging in “diversion politics.”
Vivekananda said the BRS was ready to cooperate for the smooth functioning of the Telangana Assembly. However, he alleged that the Congress was deliberately diverting attention from issues raised by the opposition.
He recalled that the BRS had raised allegations concerning Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy during previous Assembly sessions.
Vivekananda alleged that the ruling party was now attempting to shift the political debate instead of addressing issues raised by the opposition.
He also accused the Congress of using former minister Kadiyam Srihari as a political shield and alleged that BRS MLAs had been prevented from entering the Assembly while cases were being registered against them.
BRS raises issue of women MLAs
The BRS MLA also raised allegations concerning the treatment of BRS women legislators.
Vivekananda alleged that BRS women MLAs were insulted by ruling party leaders and objected to comments attributed to Minister Seethakka.
He maintained that BRS had already clarified its position regarding the statements made by its MLCs and argued that the issue was being diverted by the ruling party.
He also alleged that Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka made remarks that were disrespectful towards BRS women MLAs and demanded an apology.
‘KCR had condemned attacks against Rahul Gandhi’
Vivekananda also referred to an earlier instance involving Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
He said that when Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma allegedly made critical remarks against Rahul Gandhi, KCR had publicly condemned those comments.
The BRS leader argued that political differences should not lead to personal attacks and said Congress leaders should apologise for remarks allegedly made against BRS women legislators.
Kova Laxmi demands probe into Assembly gate incident
BRS MLA Kova Laxmi demanded a detailed investigation into the incident reported at the Telangana Assembly gates.
She alleged that BRS women MLAs were prevented from entering the Assembly and claimed that police personnel pulled barricades, resulting in some women legislators falling down.
Kova Laxmi also alleged that women police personnel were deployed close to the BRS women MLAs, creating difficulties for them.
She questioned why elected women legislators were not allowed to enter the Assembly and alleged that BRS members were being targeted whenever they attempted to attend the House.
‘Why should KCR apologise?’
Kova Laxmi strongly objected to demands that KCR should apologise and questioned the Congress leadership over the issue.
She alleged that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was making strong remarks against KCR in the Assembly and asked why KCR should be expected to apologise when he was no longer the Chief Minister.
She further challenged Revanth Reddy to resign if he was unable to govern Telangana effectively.
‘Would Telangana have been formed without KCR?’
Kova Laxmi also invoked KCR’s role in the Telangana statehood movement and questioned Congress leaders, asking whether Telangana would have been formed without KCR.
She demanded that the government register a case against MLA Veerlapalli Shankar and suspend him from the Assembly over the alleged remarks.
Congress-BRS political battle intensifies
The latest controversy has further intensified the political confrontation between the Congress government and BRS in Telangana.
The opposition BRS has accused the ruling Congress of making personal remarks against KCR, targeting BRS legislators and diverting attention from governance-related issues.
The BRS leadership has demanded an apology from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, action against Congress MLA Veerlapalli Shankar, and a probe into the alleged incident involving BRS women MLAs at the Assembly gates.
The developments are expected to keep the Telangana Assembly politically charged, with the Congress and BRS continuing to clash over KCR, Assembly proceedings and allegations against leaders from both sides.
