హైదరాబాద్: రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా శ్రీకృష్ణ జన్మాష్టమి వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. శ్రీకృష్ణ జన్మాష్టమి సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణలోని ప్రముఖ కృష్ణ ఆలయాలు భక్తులతో కిటకిటలాడుతున్నాయి. ముఖ్యంగా అబిడ్స్ ఇస్కాన్ టెంపుల్‌కు తెల్లవారుజాము నుంచే భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో తరలివచ్చారు. కృష్ణాష్టమిని పురస్కరించుకుని ఆలయాలను పుష్పాలు, విద్యుత్ దీపాలతో సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా అలంకరించారు.

తెల్లవారుజాము నుంచే ఆలయాలకు భక్తుల క్యూ

కృష్ణ జన్మాష్టమి సందర్భంగా శుక్రవారం తెల్లవారుజాము నుంచే వేణుగోపాలుడి ఆలయాలకు భక్తులు క్యూ కట్టారు. ప్రత్యేక పూజలు, అభిషేకాలు నిర్వహించి శ్రీకృష్ణుడిని దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణాలు గోవింద నామస్మరణ, భజనలు, కీర్తనలతో మార్మోగుతున్నాయి.

శ్రీకృష్ణుడి జన్మదినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకుని భక్తులు ఉపవాసాలు, ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఆలయాల్లో స్వామివారికి పంచామృతాభిషేకం, అలంకరణ, హారతులు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. కుటుంబ సమేతంగా ఆలయాలకు వచ్చిన భక్తులు శ్రీకృష్ణుడిని దర్శించుకుని ప్రత్యేక పూజలు చేస్తున్నారు.

శ్రీకృష్ణ జన్మాష్టమి సందర్భంగా అబిడ్స్ ఇస్కాన్ టెంపుల్ భక్తులతో కిటకిటలాడుతోంది. హైదరాబాద్ నగరం నలుమూలల నుంచి వేలాది మంది భక్తులు ఇస్కాన్ ఆలయానికి తరలివస్తున్నారు. భక్తుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని ఆలయ నిర్వాహకులు ప్రత్యేక దర్శనం, క్యూలైన్ ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు.

ఉదయం నుంచే అబిడ్స్ ఇస్కాన్ ఆలయంలో ప్రత్యేక పూజలు, అభిషేకాలు నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు. ఆలయాన్ని పుష్పాలు, విద్యుత్ దీపాలతో అందంగా అలంకరించారు. భక్తుల కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా దర్శన ఏర్పాట్లు చేయడంతో పాటు క్యూలైన్లను ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

సిద్దిపేట జిల్లాలోని ప్రముఖ కొమురవెళ్లి మల్లికార్జున స్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శ్రీకృష్ణాష్టమి వేడుకలను ఘనంగా నిర్వహించారు. యాదవ పూజారుల ఆధ్వర్యంలో సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా కృష్ణాష్టమి వేడుకలు జరిగాయి.

యాదవ సంప్రదాయం ప్రకారం యాదవులు స్వామివారికి పట్టువస్త్రాలను సమర్పించారు. అనంతరం శ్రీకృష్ణుడు, గొల్లభామ వేషధారణలో యాదవ పూజారులు ఉట్టి కొట్టారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చూసేందుకు భక్తులు పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో తరలివచ్చారు.

కృష్ణాష్టమి వేడుకల్లో భాగంగా ఆలయ పురవీధుల్లో స్వామివారి ఉత్సవ విగ్రహాలను ఊరేగించారు. భక్తులు పెద్ద ఎత్తున పాల్గొని స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకున్నారు. ఆలయ పరిసరాలు భక్తుల సందడితో కళకళలాడాయి.

Hyderabad: Krishna Janmashtami 2026 celebrations are being held with great religious fervour and enthusiasm across Telangana. Temples dedicated to Lord Krishna and several ISKCON temples have been witnessing a huge influx of devotees since the early hours of Friday.

As part of the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, temples across the state have been beautifully decorated with colourful flowers and traditional arrangements. Devotees began queuing up at prominent Krishna temples from early morning to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna and perform special prayers.

Special pujas, abhishekams, bhajans and devotional programmes are being conducted at temples as part of Janmashtami 2026 celebrations. Traditional Dahi Handi and Uriyadi (pot-breaking) celebrations are also being organised at several places, adding to the festive atmosphere.

ISKCON Hyderabad Witnesses Massive Devotee Rush

The ISKCON Temple Hyderabad at Abids has turned into a major centre of attraction on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami 2026. Thousands of devotees from different parts of Hyderabad are visiting the temple to participate in the special celebrations and have darshan of Lord Krishna.

The ISKCON temple has been decorated elaborately with flowers and other festive decorations for Krishna Janmashtami. Special arrangements have been made for devotees, including dedicated queues and darshan facilities, in view of the expected heavy rush.

Special pujas and abhishekams have been performed at the temple since morning. The temple premises have been reverberating with Krishna bhajans, devotional songs and Hare Krishna chants, creating a spiritually vibrant atmosphere.

Devotees, including families and children, have been participating enthusiastically in the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations. Several children were seen dressed as Lord Krishna and Radha, adding a colourful touch to the festivities.

Krishna Ashtami Celebrations at Komuravelli Mallanna Temple

Meanwhile, Krishna Ashtami celebrations were held on a grand scale at the famous Komuravelli Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Siddipet district.

The celebrations were conducted under the guidance of Yadava priests, following traditional Yadava customs. As part of the Krishna Janmashtami celebrations, members of the Yadava community offered silk clothes to the deity.

Yadava priests dressed up as Lord Krishna and Gollabhama and participated in the traditional Uri (pot-breaking) ceremony. The traditional celebrations attracted devotees and created a festive atmosphere in and around the temple.

The festival celebrations also included a procession of the utsava idols of the presiding deity through the temple streets. Devotees participated in large numbers and sought the blessings of the deity.

Temple Executive Officer Katta Sudhakar Reddy, priests and temple staff participated in the Krishna Ashtami celebrations.
