నారాయణపేట జిల్లాలో విద్యుత్ కోసం రైతుల ఆందోళన.. పంటలు ఎండిపోతున్నాయంటూ రైతుల ఆవేదన
మక్తల్, సెప్టెంబరు 6: నారాయణపేట జిల్లాలో వ్యవసాయానికి సరైన విద్యుత్ సరఫరా అందకపోవడంతో రైతులు ఆందోళన బాట పట్టారు. వ్యవసాయానికి నిరంతర విద్యుత్ సరఫరా చేయాలని, పంటలను కాపాడేందుకు తగినంత విద్యుత్ అందించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ మక్తల్, దామరగిద్ద, నారాయణపేట రూరల్ మండలాల్లో రైతులు నిరసనలు చేపట్టారు. విద్యుత్ సరఫరాలో అంతరాయాల కారణంగా పంటలు ఎండిపోయే పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడిందని రైతులు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
మంథన్గోడ్ ఫీడర్ పరిధిలో రైతుల ధర్నా
మక్తల్ మండలంలోని మంథన్గోడ్ ఫీడర్ కింద వ్యవసాయానికి నిరంతర విద్యుత్ అందించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ ఆదివారం మునిసిపాలిటీ పరిధిలోని దండు క్రాస్రోడ్ వద్ద రైతులు ధర్నా నిర్వహించారు.
రైతులకు 24 గంటల ఉచిత విద్యుత్ సరఫరా అందిస్తామని ప్రభుత్వం హామీ ఇచ్చినప్పటికీ ఆచరణలో పరిస్థితి అందుకు భిన్నంగా ఉందని రైతులు ఆరోపించారు. రోజుకు కనీసం 10 గంటల విద్యుత్ కూడా సక్రమంగా అందడం లేదని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
విద్యుత్ కోతలతో పంటలకు నీరు అందడం లేదని, ఫలితంగా పంటలు ఎండిపోతున్నాయని రైతులు తెలిపారు. వ్యవసాయానికి నిరంతర విద్యుత్ సరఫరా లేకపోవడంతో పెట్టుబడులు నష్టపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉందని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
రైతుల ధర్నాకు మాజీ ఎమ్మెల్యే చిట్టెం రామ్మోహన్రెడ్డి సంఘీభావం తెలిపారు. కార్యక్రమంలో మధుసూదన్రెడ్డి, నరేందర్రెడ్డి, నర్సింహారెడ్డి, బసిరెడ్డి, తిమ్మన్న, వెంకట్రెడ్డితో పాటు పలువురు రైతులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
కానుకుర్తిలో రాస్తారోకో
దామరగిద్ద మండలంలోని కానుకుర్తి గ్రామ రైతులు కూడా విద్యుత్ సరఫరా కోసం రోడ్డెక్కారు. వ్యవసాయానికి విద్యుత్ సక్రమంగా అందడం లేదని నిరసిస్తూ ఆదివారం నారాయణపేట–యానగుంది రోడ్డుపై రైతులు రాస్తారోకో నిర్వహించారు.
సమయానికి కరెంటు అందక పంటలు ఎండిపోయే పరిస్థితి నెలకొందని రైతులు ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ సరఫరాలో అంతరాయాలను వెంటనే పరిష్కరించి, పంటలకు అవసరమైన సమయంలో విద్యుత్ అందించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
రైతుల రాస్తారోకో విషయం తెలుసుకున్న సర్పంచ్ నారాయణ, ఎస్ఐ నరేష్, మండల విద్యుత్ అధికారి అనిల్కుమార్ అక్కడికి చేరుకున్నారు. విద్యుత్ సరఫరా సక్రమంగా అందేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని రైతులకు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. దీంతో రైతులు ఆందోళన విరమించారు.
కార్యక్రమంలో మొగులప్ప, అశోక్, గోవిందప్ప, దేవేంద్రప్ప, చంద్రప్ప, మోహన్, మహేష్తో పాటు పలువురు రైతులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
రాత్రివేళ వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ ఇవ్వాలని డిమాండ్
నారాయణపేట రూరల్ మండలంలోని చిన్నజట్రం సబ్స్టేషన్ పరిధిలోని లక్ష్మీపూర్ ఫీడర్ కింద ఉన్న గ్రామాల రైతులు కూడా వ్యవసాయానికి విద్యుత్ సరఫరాపై అధికారులను ఆశ్రయించారు.
వ్యవసాయానికి రాత్రివేళల్లో విద్యుత్ సరఫరా అందించాలని ఆయా గ్రామాల రైతులు కోరారు. ఆదివారం రైతులు చిన్నజట్రం సబ్స్టేషన్కు చేరుకుని తమ సమస్యలను అధికారుల దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లారు.
వ్యవసాయానికి అవసరమైన సమయంలో విద్యుత్ అందకపోతే పంటలను కాపాడుకోవడం కష్టమవుతుందని రైతులు తెలిపారు. విద్యుత్ సరఫరా సమస్యను వెంటనే పరిష్కరించి, వ్యవసాయానికి నిరంతర విద్యుత్ అందించాలని అధికారులను కోరారు.
రైతుల ప్రధాన డిమాండ్లు
- వ్యవసాయానికి సక్రమంగా విద్యుత్ సరఫరా చేయాలి.
- విద్యుత్ కోతలు లేకుండా నిర్ణీత సమయంలో కరెంటు ఇవ్వాలి.
- పంటలను కాపాడేందుకు అవసరమైన సమయంలో విద్యుత్ అందించాలి.
- మంథన్గోడ్, లక్ష్మీపూర్ ఫీడర్ల పరిధిలో విద్యుత్ సమస్యలను పరిష్కరించాలి.
- రాత్రివేళల్లో వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ సరఫరాను మెరుగుపరచాలి.
విద్యుత్ సరఫరా సమస్యలు కొనసాగితే పంటలు దెబ్బతిని రైతులు తీవ్రంగా నష్టపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉందని రైతులు ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు. తమ సమస్యకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూపాలని వారు అధికారులను కోరుతున్నారు.

Narayanpet Farmers Protest Over Power Cuts, Demand Reliable Agricultural Electricity
Maktal, September 6: Farmers in several parts of Narayanpet district took to the streets on Sunday, protesting against irregular agricultural power supply and demanding uninterrupted electricity for irrigation. Farmers said frequent power cuts were putting standing crops at risk and causing serious concern among the farming community.
Farmers stage dharna at Dandu Cross Road
Farmers under the Manthangod feeder in Maktal mandal staged a dharna at Dandu Cross Road within the municipal limits, demanding continuous power supply for agriculture.
The protesting farmers alleged that the government had promised to provide 24-hour electricity to farmers, but the ground situation was different. They claimed that even 10 hours of electricity a day was not being supplied consistently.
According to the farmers, inadequate agricultural power supply has made it difficult to operate irrigation pumps at the required time. As a result, standing crops are reportedly facing the threat of drying up.
Former MLA Chittem Ram Mohan Reddy expressed solidarity with the protesting farmers. Madhusudhan Reddy, Narender Reddy, Narsimha Reddy, Basireddy, Thimanna, Venkat Reddy and several other farmers participated in the protest.
Rasta Roko over electricity shortage in Kanukkurthi
Meanwhile, farmers of Kanukkurthi village in Damaragidda mandal staged a rasta roko on the Narayanpet–Yanagundhi road, protesting against the delay and irregularity in agricultural electricity supply.
The farmers said electricity was not being supplied at the required time, creating a serious risk of crops drying up. They demanded that the authorities ensure regular agricultural power supply to protect standing crops.
On receiving information about the protest, Sarpanch Narayana, SI Naresh and Mandal Electricity Officer Anil Kumar reached the spot. The officials assured the farmers that steps would be taken to ensure proper electricity supply.
Following the assurance, the situation was brought under control.
Mogulappa, Ashok, Govindappa, Devendrappa, Chandrappa, Mohan, Mahesh and other farmers participated in the rasta roko.
Farmers seek night-time power supply
In Narayanpet Rural mandal, farmers from villages under the Lakshmipur feeder of the Chinnajatram sub-station also raised concerns over agricultural electricity supply.
The farmers urged the electricity authorities to provide agricultural power supply during night hours to villages covered under the Lakshmipur feeder.
The farmers gathered at the Chinnajatram sub-station on Sunday and brought their problems to the attention of the officials. They said timely electricity supply was essential for irrigation and protecting crops.
Electricity supply becomes major concern for farmers
The protests in Maktal, Damaragidda and Narayanpet Rural highlight the growing concerns among farmers over agricultural electricity supply.
Farmers are demanding reliable power supply according to the required schedule, particularly for irrigation. They said prolonged interruptions in electricity supply could adversely affect crops and increase the financial burden on farmers.
The farmers have urged the electricity department to address feeder-level power supply issues immediately and ensure uninterrupted electricity for agricultural needs.
