రాఖీ పండుగ వేళ వరంగల్ ఆర్టీసీకి కాసుల వర్షం.. ఆరు రోజుల్లో రూ.17.10 కోట్ల ఆదాయం
వరంగల్: రాఖీ పండుగ వరంగల్ రీజియన్ ఆర్టీసీకి భారీ ఆదాయాన్ని తెచ్చిపెట్టింది. రాఖీ పండుగ సందర్భంగా సొంతూళ్లకు వెళ్లే ప్రయాణికుల సంఖ్య భారీగా పెరగడంతో వరంగల్ ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికతో ప్రత్యేక బస్సులను పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో నడిపారు. దీంతో ఆరు రోజుల వ్యవధిలో వరంగల్ రీజియన్ పరిధిలోని 9 ఆర్టీసీ డిపోల ద్వారా రూ.17 కోట్ల 10 లక్షల 61 వేల 98 ఆదాయం సమకూరింది.
ఆగస్టు 26 నుంచి 31 వరకు ఆరు రోజుల పాటు నిర్వహించిన రాఖీ పండుగ ప్రత్యేక రవాణాలో వరంగల్ రీజియన్ పరిధిలోని ఆర్టీసీ బస్సులు మొత్తం 24,99,032 కిలోమీటర్లు ప్రయాణించినట్లు అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీని ముందుగానే అంచనా వేసి అవసరమైన రూట్లలో అదనపు సర్వీసులు ఏర్పాటు చేయడంతో ప్రయాణికులకు మెరుగైన రవాణా సౌకర్యం కల్పించడంతోపాటు ఆర్టీసీ ఆదాయం కూడా గణనీయంగా పెరిగింది.
వరంగల్-2 డిపోకు అగ్రస్థానం
రాఖీ పండుగ రద్దీని సమర్థంగా వినియోగించుకోవడంలో వరంగల్-2 ఆర్టీసీ డిపో అగ్రస్థానంలో నిలిచింది. ఆరు రోజుల పాటు వరంగల్-2 డిపో బస్సులు 3,84,841 కిలోమీటర్లు ప్రయాణించి ఏకంగా రూ.2 కోట్ల 58 లక్షల 56 వేల 976 ఆదాయం సాధించాయి.
వరంగల్ రీజియన్ మొత్తం ఆదాయంలో అత్యధిక వాటాను వరంగల్-2 డిపో నమోదు చేసింది. దీంతో రాఖీ పండుగ ప్రత్యేక సర్వీసుల ద్వారా అత్యధిక ఆదాయం సాధించిన డిపోగా వరంగల్-2 నిలిచింది.
వరంగల్-1 డిపోకు రూ.2.38 కోట్ల ఆదాయం
వరంగల్-1 ఆర్టీసీ డిపో కూడా రాఖీ పండుగ రద్దీతో భారీ ఆదాయం సాధించింది. ఈ డిపోకు చెందిన బస్సులు ఆరు రోజుల్లో 4,10,088 కిలోమీటర్లు ప్రయాణించగా, రూ.2 కోట్ల 38 లక్షల 20 వేల 190 ఆదాయం సమకూరింది.
కిలోమీటర్ల పరంగా వరంగల్-1 డిపో ముందంజలో ఉన్నప్పటికీ, ఆదాయం పరంగా వరంగల్-2 డిపో అగ్రస్థానాన్ని దక్కించుకుంది.

రాఖీ పండుగ ప్రత్యేక బస్సుల నిర్వహణలో వరంగల్ రీజియన్ పరిధిలోని అన్ని డిపోలు మంచి ఆదాయాన్ని నమోదు చేశాయి.
- హనుమకొండ డిపో: 3,39,012 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.2,29,24,173 ఆదాయం
- తొర్రూరు డిపో: 2,63,423 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.2,04,03,547 ఆదాయం
- జనగామ డిపో: 2,89,757 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.2,01,81,709 ఆదాయం
- భూపాలపల్లి డిపో: 2,43,756 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.1,79,16,857 ఆదాయం
- నర్సంపేట డిపో: 2,13,106 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.1,50,12,390 ఆదాయం
- పరకాల డిపో: 1,85,244 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.1,32,71,529 ఆదాయం
- మహబూబాబాద్ డిపో: 1,69,785 కిలోమీటర్లు – రూ.1,16,73,727 ఆదాయం
ఇలా వరంగల్ రీజియన్ పరిధిలోని వరంగల్-1, వరంగల్-2, హనుమకొండ, తొర్రూరు, జనగామ, భూపాలపల్లి, నర్సంపేట, పరకాల, మహబూబాబాద్ డిపోలు కలిపి ఆరు రోజుల్లో రూ.17.10 కోట్లకుపైగా ఆదాయం సాధించాయి.
ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికతో పెరిగిన ఆర్టీసీ ఆదాయం
రాఖీ పండుగకు ముందుగానే ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీపై వరంగల్ ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు అంచనాలు రూపొందించారు. ముఖ్యంగా సొంతూళ్లకు వెళ్లే ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీ అధికంగా ఉండే మార్గాలను గుర్తించి ఆయా రూట్లలో ప్రత్యేక బస్సులు, అదనపు సర్వీసులను అందుబాటులో ఉంచారు.
దీంతో పండుగ సమయంలో ప్రయాణికులకు బస్సుల కొరత లేకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకోవడంతోపాటు, ఆర్టీసీకి కూడా గణనీయమైన ఆదాయం వచ్చింది. డిపోల స్థాయిలో అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయడం ఈ విజయానికి ప్రధాన కారణంగా నిలిచింది.
ప్రయాణికులకు మెరుగైన రవాణా సౌకర్యం
రాఖీ పండుగ సమయంలో బస్సుల సంఖ్య పెంచడం వల్ల ప్రయాణికులకు సొంతూళ్లకు వెళ్లేందుకు మెరుగైన రవాణా సౌకర్యం లభించింది. పండుగ రద్దీ సమయంలో ప్రైవేట్ వాహనాలపై ఆధారపడకుండా ఆర్టీసీ బస్సుల్లోనే పెద్ద సంఖ్యలో ప్రయాణికులు తమ గమ్యస్థానాలకు చేరుకున్నారు.
అవసరానికి అనుగుణంగా ప్రత్యేక సర్వీసులు అందుబాటులో ఉంచడం వల్ల ప్రయాణికులు సంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేసినట్లు ఆర్టీసీ అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
రాబోయే పండుగలకు మరింత ముందస్తు ప్రణాళిక
రాఖీ పండుగ ప్రత్యేక రవాణా ద్వారా సాధించిన ఫలితాలపై వరంగల్ రీజినల్ మేనేజర్ భవానిప్రసాద్ స్పందించారు. పండుగ సమయంలో ప్రయాణికుల అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా బస్సు సర్వీసులను నిర్వహించడం వల్ల సంస్థ ఆదాయం పెరగడంతోపాటు ప్రయాణికులకు మెరుగైన రవాణా సౌకర్యం కల్పించగలిగామని తెలిపారు.
అవసరమైన రూట్లలో సర్వీసులను పెంచడం, అన్ని డిపోల స్థాయిలో సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయడం వల్లే ఈ స్థాయిలో ఆదాయం సాధ్యమైందని పేర్కొన్నారు. రాబోయే పండుగలు, సెలవుల సమయంలోనూ ఇదే తరహాలో ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికతో ప్రత్యేక బస్సు సర్వీసులు నిర్వహించేందుకు అధికారులు, ఆర్టీసీ సిబ్బంది సమన్వయంతో పనిచేస్తారని తెలిపారు.

Rakhi Festival Boosts Warangal RTC Revenue to ₹17.10 Crore in Six Days
Warangal: The Rakhi festival brought a major revenue boost to the Warangal RTC region, with nine depots collectively earning ₹17.10 crore in just six days by operating special bus services to meet the surge in passenger demand.
The Warangal RTC operated special services from August 26 to August 31 as thousands of passengers travelled to their native places for the Rakhi festival. According to RTC officials, buses in the Warangal region covered a total distance of 24,99,032 kilometres during the six-day special transport operation.
Officials said the significant increase in Warangal RTC revenue was the result of advance planning, additional services and effective deployment of buses on routes witnessing heavy passenger traffic.
Warangal-2 Depot Tops RTC Revenue
The Warangal-2 RTC depot emerged as the top performer during the Rakhi festival rush.
During the six-day period, buses from Warangal-2 depot covered 3,84,841 kilometres and generated ₹2,58,56,976 in revenue. The depot recorded the highest revenue contribution among the nine depots in the Warangal RTC region.
The Warangal-1 depot recorded the highest distance covered among the depots, with its buses travelling 4,10,088 kilometres and generating ₹2,38,20,190 in revenue.

Hanamkonda Depot Generates Over ₹2.29 Crore
The Hanamkonda RTC depot also performed strongly during the festival period. Its buses covered 3,39,012 kilometres and generated ₹2,29,24,173 in revenue.
The Thorrur depot generated ₹2,04,03,547 after its buses travelled 2,63,423 kilometres, while the Jangaon depot recorded revenue of ₹2,01,81,709 from 2,89,757 kilometres of operation.
The Bhupalpally, Narsampet, Parkal and Mahabubabad depots also registered substantial revenue during the Rakhi festival special services.
Advance Planning Helps Warangal RTC
The increase in Warangal RTC revenue was attributed to advance planning by RTC officials. Passenger movement was assessed ahead of the Rakhi festival, particularly on routes expected to witness heavy demand.
Based on the assessment, additional buses and special services were deployed on key routes. This helped the Warangal RTC handle the festival rush while providing passengers with better public transport facilities.
The advance arrangements also helped reduce the pressure on passengers travelling to their native places during the festival period.
Passengers Benefit From Special RTC Services
The additional RTC special buses provided during the Rakhi festival helped thousands of passengers travel conveniently during one of the busiest festive periods.
Passengers expressed satisfaction with the availability of additional services and said that increasing buses according to demand helped improve transportation facilities during the festival rush.
Warangal RTC Plans Similar Strategy for Upcoming Festivals
Warangal Regional Manager Bhavani Prasad said that the strong revenue performance was possible because of coordinated efforts by officials and RTC employees at the depot level.
He said that increasing services on routes according to passenger demand not only improved transportation facilities but also helped increase RTC revenue.
The Regional Manager said the Warangal RTC would continue to adopt similar advance planning and coordination during upcoming festivals and holiday periods to meet passenger demand effectively.
