రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డుకు కేంద్రం సహకరించాలి.. బీజేపీ ముందుకు రావాలి మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు
హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధికి కీలకమైన రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు (RRR) నిర్మాణానికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు రావాలని రాష్ట్ర ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి డి. శ్రీధర్ బాబు కోరారు. తెలంగాణలోని భారతీయ జనతా పార్టీ (బీజేపీ) కూడా రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు విషయంలో కేంద్రంపై ఒత్తిడి తీసుకువచ్చి రాష్ట్రానికి సహకరించాలని ఆయన విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. RRR పూర్తయితే రాష్ట్రంలోని జిల్లాల మధ్య కనెక్టివిటీ గణనీయంగా పెరుగుతుందని, దీనివల్ల కొత్తగా ఐటీ కంపెనీలు, పరిశ్రమలు రాష్ట్రంలోని ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకు విస్తరించే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు.
జిల్లాలకు మెరుగైన కనెక్టివిటీతో ఐటీ విస్తరణ
శుక్రవారం తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీలో జరిగిన ప్రశ్నోత్తరాల సమయంలో సభ్యులు అడిగిన ప్రశ్నలకు మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు సమాధానం ఇచ్చారు. రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు (RRR) తెలంగాణ భవిష్యత్ పారిశ్రామిక, ఐటీ అభివృద్ధిలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తుందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
RRR అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే హైదరాబాద్ చుట్టుపక్కల ప్రాంతాలతో పాటు రాష్ట్రంలోని వివిధ జిల్లాలకు రవాణా, మౌలిక సదుపాయాల అనుసంధానం మెరుగుపడుతుందని తెలిపారు. మెరుగైన రోడ్డు కనెక్టివిటీ ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో పరిశ్రమలు, ఐటీ కంపెనీలు పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టేందుకు ఆసక్తి చూపుతాయని మంత్రి వివరించారు.
రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు తెలంగాణలో కొత్త పారిశ్రామిక కారిడార్ల అభివృద్ధికి కూడా దోహదపడే అవకాశం ఉందని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు.
డేటా సెంటర్లకు రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు
తెలంగాణలో డేటా సెంటర్ల రంగాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేకంగా చర్యలు చేపడుతోందని శ్రీధర్ బాబు తెలిపారు. ఇప్పటికే డేటా సెంటర్ల కోసం రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు తీసుకొచ్చినట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
డేటా సెంటర్లకు సంబంధించి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న నిర్ణయాలకు అనుగుణంగా తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు వెళ్తోందని చెప్పారు. డిజిటల్ మౌలిక సదుపాయాలు, డేటా ఆధారిత ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థ విస్తరణలో హైదరాబాద్ కీలక కేంద్రంగా ఎదుగుతోందని మంత్రి వివరించారు.
హైదరాబాద్లో గూగుల్ ఇంకుబేషన్ హబ్
హైదరాబాద్లో గూగుల్ ఇంకుబేషన్ హబ్ పనులు ప్రారంభమైనట్లు మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు వెల్లడించారు. స్టార్టప్లు, టెక్నాలజీ సంస్థలు, కొత్త ఆవిష్కరణలకు హైదరాబాద్ను మరింత అనుకూల కేంద్రంగా మార్చేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోందన్నారు.
ఐటీ రంగం కేవలం హైదరాబాద్కే పరిమితం కాకుండా తెలంగాణలోని ఇతర జిల్లాలకు కూడా విస్తరించాలన్నదే ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని మంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు.
వరంగల్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ వస్తే కంపెనీలకు ఊతం
వరంగల్ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే ఆ ప్రాంతంలో ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల పెట్టుబడులు పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉందని శ్రీధర్ బాబు తెలిపారు. విమాన రాకపోకలు అందుబాటులోకి రావడం వల్ల కంపెనీలకు మెరుగైన కనెక్టివిటీ లభిస్తుందని, దీంతో వరంగల్లో పెద్ద ఎత్తున కంపెనీలు ఏర్పాటు అయ్యే అవకాశాలు ఉంటాయని అన్నారు.
వరంగల్ను హైదరాబాద్ తర్వాత మరో ముఖ్యమైన ఐటీ, పరిశ్రమల కేంద్రంగా అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి కనెక్టివిటీ కీలకమని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోందని చెప్పారు.
గత ప్రభుత్వంలో నిర్మించిన ఐటీ టవర్లు నిరుపయోగంగా ఉన్నాయి
గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో కొన్ని జిల్లాల్లో ఐటీ టవర్లు నిర్మించి వదిలేశారని మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు విమర్శించారు. ప్రస్తుతం వాటిలో చాలా వరకు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో వినియోగంలో లేవని తెలిపారు.
కేవలం ఐటీ టవర్లు నిర్మించడం వల్ల కంపెనీలు రావని, అక్కడ సోషల్ ఇన్ఫ్రాస్ట్రక్చర్, రవాణా, విద్య, వైద్యం, నివాస సదుపాయాలు, ఇతర మౌలిక వసతులు అందుబాటులో ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని మంత్రి వివరించారు.
ఐటీ కంపెనీలు పెట్టుబడులు పెట్టే ప్రాంతాల్లో ఉద్యోగులు, వారి కుటుంబాలకు అవసరమైన జీవన సదుపాయాలు ఉండటం కూడా ముఖ్యమని చెప్పారు.
స్పెషల్ ఇన్సెంటివ్స్తో కంపెనీలను రప్పిస్తాం
తెలంగాణలోని ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నగరాలు, జిల్లాల్లో ఐటీ కంపెనీలను ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు స్పెషల్ ఇన్సెంటివ్స్ అందించే విధానాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం అనుసరిస్తోందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు.
కంపెనీల అవసరాలను గుర్తించి, ఆయా ప్రాంతాల్లో అవసరమైన మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను కల్పిస్తూ పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
ఆదిలాబాద్లో ఐటీ టవర్ ప్రారంభం
ఆదిలాబాద్ ఐటీ టవర్ ప్రారంభానికి ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు పూర్తి చేసిందని మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు తెలిపారు. మరో రెండు, మూడు రోజుల్లో ఆదిలాబాద్లో ఐటీ టవర్ను ప్రారంభిస్తామని వెల్లడించారు.
దీంతో ఉత్తర తెలంగాణలో ఐటీ రంగానికి కొత్త అవకాశాలు ఏర్పడతాయని, స్థానిక యువతకు ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు పెరిగే అవకాశం ఉందని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.
పెద్దపల్లిలో యాంకర్ పార్టనర్ కోసం అన్వేషణ
పెద్దపల్లిలో ఐటీ టవర్ను సమర్థవంతంగా వినియోగించేందుకు యాంకర్ పార్టనర్ కోసం ప్రభుత్వం అన్వేషిస్తోంది అని శ్రీధర్ బాబు తెలిపారు. ఒక ప్రముఖ ఐటీ లేదా టెక్నాలజీ సంస్థను యాంకర్ పార్టనర్గా తీసుకురావడం ద్వారా అక్కడ ఇతర కంపెనీలను కూడా ఆకర్షించవచ్చని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.
తెలంగాణలో ఐటీ విస్తరణకు RRR కీలకం
మొత్తంగా తెలంగాణలో ఐటీ పరిశ్రమల విస్తరణ, డేటా సెంటర్ల పెట్టుబడులు, జిల్లాలకు కనెక్టివిటీ, విమానాశ్రయాల అభివృద్ధి, ఐటీ టవర్ల వినియోగం వంటి అంశాలపై ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టి సారించిందని మంత్రి శ్రీధర్ బాబు వెల్లడించారు.
రీజినల్ రింగ్ రోడ్డు (RRR) పూర్తయితే జిల్లాలకు కనెక్టివిటీ మెరుగుపడి, పారిశ్రామిక పెట్టుబడులు పెరగడంతో పాటు తెలంగాణలోని హైదరాబాద్ వెలుపలి ప్రాంతాల్లో కూడా ఐటీ కంపెనీలు, స్టార్టప్లు, డేటా సెంటర్లు, పరిశ్రమలు ఏర్పాటయ్యే అవకాశాలు పెరుగుతాయని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.

Telangana RRR Sridhar Babu Seeks Centre’s Support to Boost IT and Industrial Growth
Hyderabad: Telangana IT and Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu has urged the Centre to come forward and extend its support for the Regional Ring Road (RRR) Telangana project, stressing that the proposed road network would significantly improve connectivity between districts and create new opportunities for IT companies and industries across the state.
Speaking during the Question Hour in the Telangana Legislative Assembly on Friday, Sridhar Babu said the Regional Ring Road Telangana project would play an important role in expanding economic activity beyond Hyderabad.
The minister also appealed to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Telangana to cooperate with the state government and support the RRR project at the Centre.
Telangana Regional Ring Road to Improve District Connectivity
According to Sridhar Babu, the development of the Telangana Regional Ring Road would improve road connectivity between several districts and make it easier for companies to establish operations outside Hyderabad.
Better connectivity is expected to make districts more attractive to investors and technology companies. The minister said improved infrastructure could encourage IT companies in Telangana to explore locations beyond the state capital.
The RRR Telangana project is therefore being viewed as an important component of the state’s long-term infrastructure and industrial development strategy.
₹70,000 Crore Investments in Data Centres
The Telangana government has attracted investments worth approximately ₹70,000 crore for data centres, Sridhar Babu said.
He explained that the state government is moving forward in the data centre sector in line with decisions taken by the Union Government.
The growing demand for data storage, cloud computing and digital infrastructure has made data centres in Telangana an important investment opportunity. Hyderabad, in particular, is emerging as a major destination for large-scale technology and digital infrastructure investments.
Google Incubation Hub Work Begins in Hyderabad
Sridhar Babu also said that work on the Google incubation hub in Hyderabad has commenced.
The development is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a technology and innovation hub and provide further opportunities for startups, technology companies and entrepreneurs.
The Telangana government has been focusing on strengthening the state’s technology ecosystem and attracting major global companies to the region.
Warangal Airport Could Attract More Companies
The minister said the availability of the Warangal airport could significantly boost investment in the region.
Once the airport becomes operational and provides improved air connectivity, more companies could consider setting up their operations in Warangal, Sridhar Babu said.
Improved connectivity through both the Regional Ring Road Telangana and airport infrastructure could help accelerate the development of tier-2 cities in the state.
IT Towers Built by Previous Government Remain Underutilised
Sridhar Babu said several IT towers constructed in districts during the previous government were subsequently left without adequate utilisation.
He observed that infrastructure alone is not enough to attract technology companies. According to the minister, companies also look for adequate social infrastructure, including transportation, housing, education, healthcare and other essential facilities for employees.
The government is therefore focusing on creating an ecosystem that can support IT companies and their workforce rather than merely constructing IT buildings.
Special Incentives to Attract IT Companies
The Telangana government is planning to offer special incentives to attract IT companies to districts, the minister said.
The strategy is aimed at promoting decentralised IT development and creating employment opportunities for local youth.
Instead of concentrating the entire IT sector in Hyderabad, the government wants to encourage technology companies to establish operations in other parts of Telangana as well.
Adilabad IT Tower to Be Inaugurated Soon
Sridhar Babu announced that the Adilabad IT Tower would be inaugurated within two to three days.
The new IT infrastructure is expected to provide a platform for technology-related businesses and employment opportunities in the northern Telangana region.
The government is also examining ways to make district-level IT infrastructure commercially viable and attractive to companies.
Anchor Partner Being Sought for Peddapalli
The minister further said that the government was searching for an anchor partner for Peddapalli.
An anchor company could help attract other businesses and technology firms to the region, creating a broader IT ecosystem around the proposed infrastructure.
The move is part of the government’s wider strategy to develop IT hubs outside Hyderabad and promote balanced economic growth across Telangana.
