హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలో వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు విద్యుత్ మీటర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసే ఆలోచన తమ ప్రభుత్వానికి లేదని ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి, విద్యుత్ శాఖ మంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క స్పష్టం చేశారు. రైతుల వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టమైన విధానంతో ముందుకు సాగుతోందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు మీటర్లు పెట్టే ప్రసక్తే లేదని, ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ అలాంటి నిర్ణయం తీసుకోబోమని అసెంబ్లీ మండలి ప్రశ్నోత్తరాల సమయంలో భట్టి విక్రమార్క పేర్కొన్నారు.
వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు మీటర్లపై భట్టి కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు
తెలంగాణలో వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు మీటర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామంటూ గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వంతో ఒప్పందం చేసుకుందని భట్టి విక్రమార్క ఆరోపించారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం కేంద్రంతో ఉదయ్ పథకం (UDAY Scheme) కింద త్రైపాక్షిక ఒప్పందం చేసుకుందని ఆయన వెల్లడించారు.
అయితే ప్రస్తుత కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం మాత్రం రైతుల ప్రయోజనాలకు విరుద్ధంగా వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు మీటర్లు ఏర్పాటు చేసే నిర్ణయం తీసుకోబోదని భట్టి స్పష్టం చేశారు. రైతులకు ఉచిత విద్యుత్, వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ సరఫరా విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం తన విధానాన్ని కొనసాగిస్తుందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై భట్టి విమర్శలు
వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు విద్యుత్ మీటర్లు పెట్టే అంశంపై కేంద్రంతో గత ప్రభుత్వం చేసుకున్న ఒప్పందాన్ని ప్రస్తావిస్తూ భట్టి విక్రమార్క బీఆర్ఎస్పై విమర్శలు చేశారు. కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకొచ్చిన ఉదయ్ పథకం కింద రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం త్రైపాక్షిక ఒప్పందం చేసుకుందని, అందులోని అంశాలను ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం అనుసరించాల్సిన పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడిందని ఆయన వివరించారు.
అయితే రైతులకు సంబంధించిన వ్యవసాయ విద్యుత్ విషయంలో తమ ప్రభుత్వం రైతుల ప్రయోజనాలకే ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తుందని భట్టి స్పష్టం చేశారు.
గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీకి తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాధాన్యం
మరోవైపు తెలంగాణలో **గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ (Green Energy)**ని ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోందని ఉపముఖ్యమంత్రి భట్టి విక్రమార్క తెలిపారు. భవిష్యత్తులో పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన వనరుల వినియోగాన్ని పెంచే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం పనిచేస్తోందన్నారు.
విద్యుత్ రంగంలో ఆధునిక సాంకేతికతను వినియోగించడంతో పాటు గ్రీన్ ఎనర్జీ, పునరుత్పాదక విద్యుత్, సౌర విద్యుత్కు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.
ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్ల సంక్షేమానికి ప్రాధాన్యం
రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్లు, కాంట్రాక్ట్, ఔట్సోర్సింగ్ సిబ్బంది సంక్షేమానికి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తోందని భట్టి విక్రమార్క అన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్లకు సంబంధించిన సంక్షేమ చర్యలను ప్రభుత్వం కొనసాగిస్తోందని తెలిపారు. ఉద్యోగులు, వారి కుటుంబాలకు ఆర్థిక భద్రత కల్పించే అంశంలో ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించిందన్నారు.
రూ.కోటి వరకు ఉచిత బీమా
ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్లు, కాంట్రాక్ట్, ఔట్సోర్సింగ్ సిబ్బంది కోసం రూ.కోటి వరకు ఉచిత బీమా సౌకర్యం కల్పించినట్లు భట్టి విక్రమార్క తెలిపారు. దేశంలోనే తొలిసారిగా ఇలాంటి భారీ ఉచిత బీమా సౌకర్యాన్ని అందిస్తున్నామని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్లు, కాంట్రాక్ట్, ఔట్సోర్సింగ్ సిబ్బందికి ప్రభుత్వం అండగా ఉంటుందని భట్టి స్పష్టం చేశారు.
రైతులకు భరోసా.. ఉద్యోగులకు భద్రత
ఒకవైపు వ్యవసాయ మోటార్లకు మీటర్లు పెట్టబోమని భట్టి విక్రమార్క స్పష్టం చేయడం ద్వారా రైతులకు భరోసా కల్పించగా.. మరోవైపు ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులు, ఉపాధ్యాయులు, పెన్షనర్లు, కాంట్రాక్ట్, ఔట్సోర్సింగ్ సిబ్బందికి రూ.కోటి వరకు ఉచిత బీమా కల్పిస్తున్నట్లు ప్రకటించడం ద్వారా ఉద్యోగుల సంక్షేమానికి ప్రభుత్వం ఇస్తున్న ప్రాధాన్యాన్ని వివరించారు.

HYDERABAD: Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has made it clear that the state government has no plans to install meters on agricultural power motors under any circumstances. He said the government would not take any decision to impose electricity meters on agricultural connections and assured that the interests of farmers would remain a priority.
Bhatti Vikramarka made the remarks during the Question Hour in the Telangana Legislative Council, while responding to questions related to agricultural electricity supply and the state’s power sector.
No meters on agricultural power motors in Telangana
The Deputy Chief Minister categorically stated that agricultural power meters would not be installed in Telangana. The government’s position, he said, was clear and there was no proposal to introduce meters for agricultural motors.
The issue of agriculture power meters in Telangana has been politically sensitive, particularly because of concerns among farmers over electricity charges and the continuation of free power supply for agriculture.
Bhatti Vikramarka said the present government would not compromise on the interests of farmers and reiterated its stand on agricultural electricity in Telangana.
Bhatti targets previous BRS government
The Deputy Chief Minister also made serious allegations against the previous BRS government, claiming that it had signed an agreement with the Central Government concerning agricultural electricity meters.
According to Bhatti Vikramarka, the previous BRS government entered into a tripartite agreement with the Central Government under the UDAY scheme.
The remarks have once again brought the issue of the UDAY scheme and agricultural power meters into the political debate in Telangana. Bhatti alleged that the previous government had committed to conditions related to the power sector, including the issue of meters for agricultural connections.
Telangana agriculture power remains a key issue

Bhatti Vikramarka also highlighted the welfare measures being implemented for Telangana government employees, teachers, pensioners, contract employees and outsourcing staff.
He said the state government was giving priority to the welfare and financial security of employees and other sections working with the government.
The Deputy Chief Minister claimed that Telangana had provided a free insurance facility of up to ₹1 crore, describing it as a significant welfare initiative for government employees and related categories.
Employees, teachers and pensioners among government’s priorities
According to Bhatti Vikramarka, the government is focusing on the welfare of government employees, teachers, pensioners, contract workers and outsourcing employees.
The ₹1 crore insurance facility, he said, was intended to provide greater financial protection and security to employees and their families.
The Deputy Chief Minister said the government would continue to implement welfare-oriented measures while simultaneously strengthening the state’s power and energy sectors.
