యూనిటీ మాల్ ఒప్పందంపై సమగ్ర విచారణ జరపాలి: రఘునందన్రావు
హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో ప్రజల ఆస్తులు, ప్రభుత్వ భూముల విషయంలో కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వాల మధ్య పోటీ నెలకొందని బీజేపీ ఎంపీ రఘునందన్రావు ఆరోపించారు. ప్రజల సొమ్మును దోచుకోవడంలో కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీలు ఒకదానితో ఒకటి పోటీ పడుతున్నాయని విమర్శించారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ పదేళ్ల పాలనలో జరిగిన అవినీతిని మించి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అవినీతికి పాల్పడాలని చూస్తోందని ఆరోపించారు. కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ పార్టీలు ఒకే నాణేనికి ఇరువైపులా ఉన్నాయని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
యూనిటీ మాల్ ఒప్పందంపై విచారణ:
కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం మంజూరు చేసిన రూ.202 కోట్లతో యూనిటీ మాల్ నిర్మాణం చేపట్టాలని నిర్ణయించారని రఘునందన్రావు తెలిపారు. ఇందుకోసం తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ఆరు ఎకరాలకు పైగా విలువైన భూమిని కేటాయించిందన్నారు. అయితే ఈ భూకేటాయింపు, యూనిటీ మాల్ ఒప్పందంలో అవినీతి జరిగిందంటూ బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ చేసిన ఆరోపణలపై సమగ్ర విచారణ జరగాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
కేటీఆర్ హయాంలో ఏదైనా తప్పు జరిగితే విచారణ జరగాల్సిందేనని, అదే విధంగా కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో తప్పులు జరిగాయని ఆరోపణలు వస్తే వాటిపైనా విచారణ జరగాలని రఘునందన్రావు ప్రశ్నించారు. “కేటీఆర్ తప్పు చేస్తే విచారణ జరగాలి.. కాంగ్రెస్ తప్పు చేస్తే ఎందుకు విచారణ జరగకూడదు?” అని ప్రశ్నించారు.
బీఆర్ఎస్ హయాంలో భూకేటాయింపులపైనా దర్యాప్తు:
2018లో బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం సుమారు 10 ఎకరాల భూమిని ఓ ప్రైవేట్ సంస్థకు కేటాయించిందని రఘునందన్రావు ఆరోపించారు. ఆ భూకేటాయింపుపైనా సమగ్ర విచారణ జరపాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. యూనిటీ మాల్ భూకేటాయింపు, గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వ భూకేటాయింపులు.. రెండు అంశాలపైనా సమదృష్టితో దర్యాప్తు జరగాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
యూనిటీ మాల్ వ్యవహారం, గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వ భూకేటాయింపులపై కేంద్ర దర్యాప్తు సంస్థలతో విచారణ జరిపించాలని కోరుతూ కేంద్ర విజిలెన్స్ కమిషన్కు ఫిర్యాదు చేస్తున్నట్లు ఎంపీ వెల్లడించారు. ప్రభుత్వ భూముల విషయంలో పారదర్శకత, జవాబుదారీతనం ఉండాలని అన్నారు.
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై సీబీఐ విచారణకు డిమాండ్:
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపైనా రఘునందన్రావు కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. కేవలం మూడు బ్యారేజీలకు మాత్రమే పరిమితం కాకుండా కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు మొత్తం దర్యాప్తు పరిధిలోకి రావాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ప్రాజెక్టు డీపీఆర్ తయారీ నుంచి ప్రారంభించి, పనుల అమలు, టెండర్లు, నిర్మాణం, నిధుల వినియోగం, చివరి చెల్లింపు వరకు ప్రతి దశపై సీబీఐ విచారణ జరగాలని కోరారు.
కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై పూర్తిస్థాయి దర్యాప్తు జరపాలని తెలంగాణ సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి లేఖ రాయాలని సూచించారు. ఈ అంశంపై కేంద్ర హోంమంత్రిని కలిసి దర్యాప్తు జరిగేలా కృషి చేస్తానని రఘునందన్రావు తెలిపారు.
రింగ్ రోడ్డు, ఫార్ములా-ఈ రేసుపైనా కాంగ్రెస్ను టార్గెట్:
రింగ్ రోడ్డు, ఫార్ములా-ఈ రేస్, కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు వంటి అంశాల్లో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత తన వైఖరిని మార్చుకుందని రఘునందన్రావు మండిపడ్డారు. గతంలో బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై చేసిన ఆరోపణలకు అనుగుణంగా ప్రస్తుతం కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం వ్యవహరించడం లేదని విమర్శించారు.
కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ నేతలు పరస్పరం ఆరోపణలు చేసుకుంటూ ప్రజల దృష్టిని అసలు సమస్యల నుంచి మళ్లిస్తున్నారని ఆరోపించారు. అవినీతి విషయంలో కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ అన్నదమ్ముల్లా వ్యవహరిస్తున్నాయని వ్యంగ్యంగా వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
ప్రభుత్వ భూములకు ప్రభుత్వాలు కస్టోడియన్లు మాత్రమే:
హైదరాబాద్లో భూముల ధరలు ఎకరాకు వందల కోట్ల రూపాయలకు చేరుకున్నాయని రఘునందన్రావు అన్నారు. ప్రజల ఆస్తులను విక్రయించే హక్కు ప్రభుత్వాలకు లేదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ప్రభుత్వాలు ప్రజల ఆస్తులకు కస్టోడియన్లుగా ఉండాలి కానీ యజమానులుగా వ్యవహరించకూడదని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ప్రభుత్వ భూములు, ప్రజల ఆస్తుల విషయంలో రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు అతీతంగా పారదర్శక విధానం అవసరమని అన్నారు. భూకేటాయింపుల్లో అక్రమాలు, అవినీతి జరిగాయనే ఆరోపణలు వచ్చిన ప్రతిసారీ సమగ్ర విచారణ జరగాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
డబుల్ ఇంజిన్ ప్రభుత్వానికి బీజేపీ పిలుపు:
కాంగ్రెస్, బీఆర్ఎస్ పాలనలకు ప్రత్యామ్నాయంగా తెలంగాణలో డబుల్ ఇంజిన్ ప్రభుత్వం రావాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని రఘునందన్రావు అన్నారు. కేంద్ర, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాలు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేస్తే తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి మరింత వేగంగా జరుగుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రజల ఆస్తుల పరిరక్షణ, అవినీతి నిర్మూలన, పారదర్శక పాలనకు బీజేపీ కట్టుబడి ఉందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Unity Mall Deal Must Face Comprehensive Probe BJP MP Raghunandan Rao
Hyderabad: BJP MP Raghunandan Rao has accused the Congress and BRS of competing with each other in allegedly misusing public money and government assets in Telangana. He alleged that the Congress government was attempting to surpass the alleged corruption during the BRS’s decade-long rule.
Raghunandan Rao said the Congress and BRS are two sides of the same coin, alleging that both parties were diverting public attention by trading accusations against each other. He demanded a comprehensive investigation into the agreement related to the proposed Unity Mall in Hyderabad.
Raghunandan Rao Demands Unity Mall Probe
Raghunandan Rao said the Unity Mall project was proposed with Rs 202 crore provided by the Centre and that the Telangana government had allotted more than six acres of land for the project.
The BJP MP demanded a detailed probe into the allegations surrounding the Unity Mall agreement. He referred to allegations made by BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) regarding possible irregularities in the deal and said such allegations should be investigated.
Raghunandan Rao questioned why an investigation should be limited to alleged wrongdoing during the BRS regime. “If KTR is investigated when there are allegations against him, why should there not be an investigation if there are allegations against the Congress government?” he asked.
Probe BRS-Era Land Allocation Too
The BJP MP also demanded an investigation into a 10-acre land allocation made during the BRS government in 2018. He alleged that the land was allotted to a private organisation and said the circumstances surrounding the allocation should also be examined.
Raghunandan Rao insisted that the Unity Mall land deal and earlier BRS-era land allocations should be investigated using the same standards. According to him, there should be no selective approach when allegations of corruption or irregularities involve government land.
He said he would approach the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) seeking an investigation by central agencies into the Unity Mall agreement and the earlier BRS land allocation.
Raghunandan Rao Seeks CBI Probe into Entire Kaleshwaram Project
Raghunandan Rao also intensified his demand for a CBI investigation into the Kaleshwaram project. He said the investigation should not be restricted to the three major barrages but should cover the entire Kaleshwaram project.
The BJP MP demanded that the probe examine the project from the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) through execution, financial transactions and the final payments.
He urged Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to write to the Centre seeking a comprehensive investigation into the entire Kaleshwaram project.
Raghunandan Rao said he would also meet the Union Home Minister and make efforts to ensure that an appropriate investigation is conducted into the project.
Congress Changed Stand on ORR, Formula-E and Kaleshwaram: Raghunandan Rao
The BJP MP also criticised the Congress government over its position on the Outer Ring Road (ORR), Formula-E race and Kaleshwaram project.
He alleged that the Congress government had changed its stand on several issues after coming to power in Telangana. Raghunandan Rao questioned the government’s approach to issues that had earlier been raised against the previous BRS administration.
Congress and BRS Are Distracting People, Says BJP MP
Raghunandan Rao alleged that Congress and BRS leaders were engaged in a political blame game while diverting public attention from issues concerning governance and public assets.
He described the two parties as “brothers in corruption” and reiterated the BJP’s criticism of both Congress and BRS.
The BJP MP said the people of Telangana should consider a double-engine government under the BJP for better coordination between the Centre and the state.
Government Should Be Custodian of Public Assets
Raghunandan Rao also raised concerns over the rising value of land in Hyderabad. He said land prices in the city had reached hundreds of crores of rupees per acre in some locations and argued that governments should protect public assets rather than treat them as their own property.
He stressed that governments should act as custodians of public assets, not owners. Public land, he said, must be protected through transparent policies and accountable decision-making.
The BJP MP’s latest remarks have brought the Unity Mall land deal, BRS-era land allocations and the Kaleshwaram project back into the political spotlight in Telangana, with demands for investigations by central agencies likely to intensify the debate between the ruling Congress and opposition BRS.
