అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి అంబేడ్కర్ రాజ్యాంగం వల్లే భారత్ అతి పెద్ద ప్రజాస్వామ్యం – హరీశ్ రావు
అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి 2026 సందర్భంగా అంబేడ్కర్ స్ఫూర్తి వల్లే భారత్ ప్రపంచంలోనే అతి పెద్ద ప్రజాస్వామిక దేశంగా నిలిచిందని ఎమ్మెల్యే తన్నీరు హరీశ్ రావు పేర్కొన్నారు.
సిద్దిపేట రూరల్ మండలం తడకపల్లిలో నిర్వహించిన అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి వేడుకల్లో పాల్గొన్న ఆయన, డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ రచించిన భారత రాజ్యాంగం వల్లే దేశం ఏకత్వంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతోందన్నారు. ప్రపంచంలోని అనేక దేశాలు విభజనలతో, అంతర్గత యుద్ధాలతో క్షీణిస్తున్నాయని, కానీ భారతదేశం 28 రాష్ట్రాలు ఉన్నప్పటికీ ఒకటిగా నిలిచినందుకు కారణం అంబేడ్కర్ రాజ్యాంగమేనని వివరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా తడకపల్లిలో డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహాన్ని ఎమ్మెల్యే హరీశ్ రావు ఆవిష్కరించారు. అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి రోజున ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, “అంబేడ్కర్ అందరివాడు, కేవలం ఒక వర్గానికే పరిమితమైన వ్యక్తి కాదు. భారత ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి పునాది వేసిన మహానుభావుడు” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అతను ఇంకా మాట్లాడుతూ, భారత రాజ్యాంగం ద్వారా మహిళలు, పేదలు, ధనవంతులు అనే తేడా లేకుండా అందరికీ ఓటు హక్కు కల్పించడం ద్వారా ప్రజాస్వామ్య స్ఫూర్తిని అంబేడ్కర్ బలపరిచారని తెలిపారు. అమెరికా వంటి దేశాల్లో మహిళలకు ఓటు హక్కు రావడానికి దశాబ్దాలు పట్టినా, డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ భారతదేశంలో సమాన హక్కులను ముందుగానే అమలు చేశారని గుర్తుచేశారు.
అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి సందర్భంగా యువతకు పిలుపునిస్తూ, బాబాసాహెబ్ జీవితాన్ని ఆదర్శంగా తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. అణగారిన వర్గాల అభ్యున్నతికి అంబేడ్కర్ చేసిన సేవలను గుర్తుచేశారు.
ఇక తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాలు పై మాట్లాడిన హరీశ్ రావు, మాజీ సీఎం కేసీఆర్ తీసుకువచ్చిన దళిత బంధు పథకం దళితుల అభివృద్ధికి కీలకమని చెప్పారు. కానీ ప్రస్తుత కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఎస్సీ డిక్లరేషన్ అమలు చేయలేదని విమర్శించారు. విద్యార్థులకు ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ సమస్యలు, అంబేడ్కర్ ఓవర్సీస్ స్కాలర్షిప్ నిలిపివేత వంటి అంశాలను ప్రస్తావించారు.
అలాగే, తెలంగాణ సెక్రటేరియట్కు డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ పేరు పెట్టడం దేశంలో ప్రత్యేకమని, 125 అడుగుల అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహాన్ని నిర్మించిన ఘనత కేసీఆర్కే దక్కుతుందని పేర్కొన్నారు. అయితే ప్రస్తుత సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆ విగ్రహాన్ని పట్టించుకోవడం లేదని విమర్శించారు.

Ambedkar Jayanti Ambedkar’s Constitution Made India the World’s Largest Democracy – Harish Rao
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti 2026, MLA Tanneeru Harish Rao stated that India is the world’s largest democracy because of Dr BR Ambedkar and the Indian Constitution. He emphasized that while many countries are facing division and internal conflicts, India remains united due to the strength of the Indian Constitution written by Dr BR Ambedkar.
Speaking at Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations in Thadkapally village of Siddipet Rural mandal, Harish Rao unveiled a statue of Dr BR Ambedkar and highlighted that Ambedkar belongs to everyone, not just one community. He said the vision of Dr BR Ambedkar and the Indian Constitution continues to guide India’s democratic success.
Harish Rao further added that many countries are breaking apart due to internal wars, but India, with 28 states, continues to grow as a united nation because of the Indian Constitution. He credited Dr BR Ambedkar for laying a strong democratic foundation.
Highlighting global comparisons, he noted that in countries like the United States, women’s voting rights took decades to be implemented, whereas Dr BR Ambedkar ensured equal voting rights in India through the Indian Constitution, regardless of gender, class, or economic status. This, he said, reflects the true spirit of democracy and equality.
On Ambedkar Jayanti, Harish Rao urged youth to draw inspiration from Dr BR Ambedkar’s life, noting that he rose from a poor background and worked tirelessly for Dalit welfare, social justice, and equality.
Speaking on Telangana politics, Harish Rao praised former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for introducing the Dalit Bandhu scheme aimed at Dalit welfare and empowerment. However, he criticized the Congress government in Telangana, stating that even after two and a half years, the SC Declaration promises remain unfulfilled.
He also pointed out issues like fee reimbursement delays affecting students, weakening of the SC Corporation, and the discontinuation of the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship scheme under the current government led by Revanth Reddy.
Harish Rao further said that naming the Telangana Secretariat after Dr BR Ambedkar is a historic move unmatched by any other state. He added that the 125-feet Ambedkar statue in Hyderabad, installed during KCR’s tenure, stands as a symbol of pride, but alleged that the current leadership is neglecting it.
He concluded by stating that Telangana was achieved with the inspiration of Dr BR Ambedkar’s ideas, reinforcing the continued relevance of Ambedkar Jayanti, Dr BR Ambedkar, and the Indian Constitution in modern India.
