అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి 2026 భారత ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి రాజ్యాంగమే బలం – హరీశ్ రావు
అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి 2026 సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణలో ఘనంగా కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించబడుతున్నాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సిద్దిపేట జిల్లాలో జరిగిన కార్యక్రమంలో ఎమ్మెల్యే తన్నీరు హరీశ్ రావు కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. ప్రపంచంలోనే అతిపెద్ద ప్రజాస్వామ్య దేశంగా భారత్ నిలవడానికి డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేడ్కర్ రచించిన భారత రాజ్యాంగం (Indian Constitution) ప్రధాన కారణమని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
సిద్దిపేట రూరల్ మండలం తడకపల్లిలో అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న హరీశ్ రావు, అంబేడ్కర్ జయంతి ప్రాముఖ్యతను వివరించారు. ప్రపంచంలోని అనేక దేశాలు అంతర్గత యుద్ధాలు, రాజకీయ అస్థిరతలతో కుదేలవుతున్నాయని, కానీ భారతదేశం మాత్రం 28 రాష్ట్రాలతో కూడిన ఏకైక ప్రజాస్వామ్య దేశంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతోందని పేర్కొన్నారు. దీనికి భారత రాజ్యాంగం (Indian Constitution) బలమని, అంబేడ్కర్ ఆలోచనలు దేశాన్ని ఏకం చేశాయని అన్నారు.
హరీశ్ రావు మాట్లాడుతూ, అమెరికా వంటి అభివృద్ధి చెందిన దేశాల్లో కూడా మహిళలకు ఓటు హక్కు రావడానికి సంవత్సరాలు పట్టిందని, కానీ అంబేడ్కర్ రూపొందించిన భారత రాజ్యాంగం ద్వారా మహిళలు, పురుషులు, ధనికులు, పేదలు అనే తేడా లేకుండా అందరికీ సమాన ఓటు హక్కు కల్పించబడిందని చెప్పారు. ఇది భారత ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి (Democracy in India) గొప్ప ఉదాహరణగా నిలిచిందన్నారు.
అంబేడ్కర్ జీవితం యువతకు ప్రేరణగా నిలవాలని, ఆయన అణగారిన వర్గాల అభివృద్ధి కోసం చేసిన కృషి ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ తెలుసుకోవాలని సూచించారు. దళితుల అభ్యున్నతికి తెలంగాణలో అమలు చేసిన దళిత బంధు (Dalit Bandhu Scheme) వంటి పథకాలు అంబేడ్కర్ స్ఫూర్తితోనే వచ్చాయని, మాజీ సీఎం కే చంద్రశేఖర్ రావు తీసుకువచ్చిన చర్యలు కీలకమని చెప్పారు.
ఇక ప్రస్తుత కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై కూడా హరీశ్ రావు విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు. ఎస్సీ డిక్లరేషన్ అమలు కాలేదని, విద్యార్థులకు ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ (Fee Reimbursement) ఇవ్వకపోవడం వల్ల చదువులు మధ్యలోనే ఆగిపోతున్నాయని ఆరోపించారు. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత అంబేడ్కర్ ఓవర్సీస్ స్కాలర్షిప్ (Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship) నిలిపివేయబడిందని అన్నారు.
తెలంగాణ సెక్రటేరియట్కు అంబేడ్కర్ పేరు పెట్టడం దేశంలోనే ప్రత్యేకమని, 125 అడుగుల అంబేడ్కర్ విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు కూడా చారిత్రాత్మకమని తెలిపారు. అయితే ఆ విగ్రహానికి గౌరవం ఇవ్వడంలో ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం నిర్లక్ష్యం చూపుతోందని విమర్శించారు.

Ambedkar Jayanti 2026 Indian Constitution Key to India’s Democracy, Says Harish Rao
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti 2026, Telangana MLA Tanniru Harish Rao stated that India stands as the world’s largest democracy because of the visionary leadership of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and the strength of the Indian Constitution.
Speaking at a statue unveiling ceremony in Siddipet rural mandal, Harish Rao emphasized that while many countries are facing internal conflicts and civil wars, India remains united despite having 28 states, showcasing the power of Indian democracy and constitutional values. He highlighted that the Indian Constitution has been the backbone of India’s unity and stability.
During the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations, Harish Rao unveiled a statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and remarked that Ambedkar belongs to everyone, not just a particular community. He said that Ambedkar Jayanti 2026 is a reminder of the values of equality, justice, and democracy embedded in the Indian Constitution.
Harish Rao further noted that even in developed countries like the United States, it took decades for women to gain voting rights. In contrast, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar ensured universal adult franchise in India, granting equal voting rights to all citizens irrespective of gender, wealth, or social status. This, he said, laid the foundation of true democracy in India.
He urged the youth to take inspiration from Dr. Ambedkar’s life, highlighting how he rose from a poor background to become the architect of the Indian Constitution and a champion of social justice. He also mentioned that welfare initiatives like the Dalit Bandhu Scheme introduced by former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao were inspired by Ambedkar’s vision for the upliftment of marginalized communities.
Criticizing the current Congress government, Harish Rao alleged that promises made under the SC Declaration remain unfulfilled even after two and a half years. He pointed out that delays in fee reimbursement are forcing students to discontinue their education. He also accused the government led by Revanth Reddy of neglecting schemes like the Ambedkar Overseas Scholarship.
Highlighting Telangana’s initiatives, he said naming the Secretariat after Dr. Ambedkar was a historic decision, unmatched by any other state. He also referred to the 125-foot Ambedkar statue installed under KCR’s leadership, criticizing the current administration for not paying adequate respect to it
