విశాఖపట్నం: వైసీపీ అధినేత, మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి వైఎస్ జగన్ మోహన్ రెడ్డి వ్యవహార శైలిపై బీజేపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే పి. విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు తీవ్రస్థాయిలో మండిపడ్డారు. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అసెంబ్లీ సమావేశాలను వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు బహిష్కరించడం సరైన విధానం కాదని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అసెంబ్లీకి హాజరై ప్రజా సమస్యలపై మాట్లాడాలని, ప్రజలు ఎన్నుకున్న ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు శాసనసభకు దూరంగా ఉండటం ప్రజాస్వామ్య స్ఫూర్తికి విరుద్ధమని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
విశాఖపట్నంలో నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో బీజేపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు మాట్లాడుతూ.. జగన్ను ఎవరో పక్కదారి పట్టిస్తున్నారని అన్నారు. “అసెంబ్లీకి రాకుండా ఇంట్లో కూర్చొని కలలు కనొద్దు.. ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన తీర్పును గౌరవించాలి” అని జగన్కు హితవు పలికారు.
11 మంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలను గెలిపించిన ప్రజలను అవమానించొద్దు
వైసీపీకి 11 మంది ఎమ్మెల్యేలను గెలిపించిన ప్రజల ప్రయోజనాలను ఆ పార్టీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రస్తావించాల్సిన బాధ్యత ఉందని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు అన్నారు. శాసనసభకు హాజరుకాని వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలకు 2029 ఎన్నికల్లో ప్రజలు ఎలా ఓటు వేస్తారని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు.
ప్రజలు తమ సమస్యలను అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రస్తావించేందుకు ఎమ్మెల్యేలను ఎన్నుకుంటారని, అయితే వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అసెంబ్లీకి రాకపోవడం వల్ల ప్రజల గొంతు వినిపించే అవకాశం కోల్పోతున్నారని అన్నారు. ప్రజలు వేసిన ఓటును వృథా చేయవద్దని సూచించారు.
ఇటీవల కూడా వైసీపీ అసెంబ్లీ బహిష్కరణపై విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు తీవ్రంగా స్పందించిన విషయం తెలిసిందే. అసెంబ్లీకి రాకుండా ప్రజల గొంతుకను వినిపించలేరని ఆయన వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
“మా సమయాన్ని కూడా ఇస్తాం.. సభకు రండి”
శాసనసభలో తమకు మాట్లాడేందుకు సమయం ఇవ్వడం లేదంటూ జగన్ చేస్తున్న ప్రచారాన్ని ప్రజలు నమ్మవద్దని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు కోరారు.
“వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు సభకు వస్తే మాట్లాడేందుకు మా సమయాన్ని కూడా ఇస్తాం. వెంటనే అసెంబ్లీకి వచ్చి ప్రజా సమస్యలపై మాట్లాడాలి” అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
ముఖ్యంగా 22ఏ భూముల సమస్య, మెగా డీఎస్సీ అక్రమాలు వంటి అంశాలను అసెంబ్లీలో ప్రస్తావించి ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ప్రశ్నించాలని వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలకు సూచించారు. ప్రజా సమస్యలపై పోరాడేందుకు అసెంబ్లీనే ప్రధాన వేదిక అని, ఆ వేదికను వదిలి బయట ఉండటం వల్ల ప్రయోజనం లేదని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
వైసీపీ శ్రేణులే ధర్నాలు చేయాలి
వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు తిరిగి అసెంబ్లీకి హాజరయ్యేలా ఆ పార్టీ శ్రేణులే ధర్నాలు చేయాలని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేల అసెంబ్లీ బహిష్కరణపై ప్రజలు కూడా ఆలోచించాలని, రానున్న స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో వైసీపీకి ఓటు వేసే ముందు ఆ పార్టీ ఎమ్మెల్యేల పనితీరును పరిశీలించాలని సూచించారు.
ప్రజా సమస్యలను చర్చించాల్సిన శాసనసభను బహిష్కరించడం ద్వారా ప్రజలకు ఏం సందేశం ఇస్తున్నారో వైసీపీ నాయకులు ఆలోచించుకోవాలని అన్నారు.
విశాఖ ఎయిర్పోర్టుపై విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు భావోద్వేగం
ఇదిలా ఉండగా, విశాఖపట్నం ఎయిర్పోర్ట్లో విమాన సేవలు నిలిచిపోవడంపై బీజేపీ ఎమ్మెల్యే విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు భావోద్వేగానికి గురయ్యారు. గత 40 ఏళ్లుగా విశాఖ విమానాశ్రయ సేవలను తాను వినియోగిస్తున్నానని, ఇప్పుడు ఒక శకం ముగిసిపోవడం బాధాకరంగా ఉందని అన్నారు.
విశాఖ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి చివరి విమానంలో తాను విజయవాడకు వెళ్తున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. విశాఖ నగరం ఆర్థికంగా, పారిశ్రామికంగా వేగంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో నగరానికి దేశీయ విమాన సేవలు అత్యంత అవసరమని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు.
విశాఖ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్ను పూర్తిగా పక్కన పెట్టి కేవలం భోగాపురం అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయంపైనే ఆధారపడటం సరికాదని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు గతంలోనూ అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. విశాఖ నుంచి దేశీయ విమాన సర్వీసులు కొనసాగించాలని ఆయన డిమాండ్ చేసిన విషయం తెలిసిందే.
భోగాపురం ఎయిర్పోర్ట్కు కనెక్టివిటీ పూర్తయ్యే వరకు దేశీయ సర్వీసులు కొనసాగాలి
భోగాపురం అంతర్జాతీయ విమానాశ్రయానికి కోస్టల్ కారిడార్ రోడ్డు, రవాణా సౌకర్యాలు పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చే వరకు విశాఖ విమానాశ్రయం నుంచే దేశీయ విమాన సర్వీసులు కొనసాగించాలని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరారు.
విజయవాడ, హైదరాబాద్, తిరుపతి వంటి ప్రధాన నగరాలకు విశాఖ నుంచి డొమెస్టిక్ విమాన సర్వీసులు కొనసాగితే ఉత్తరాంధ్ర ప్రజలకు, పారిశ్రామికవేత్తలకు, వ్యాపారవర్గాలకు, పర్యాటకులకు ఎంతో ప్రయోజనం ఉంటుందని అన్నారు.
భోగాపురం విమానాశ్రయానికి మెరుగైన రోడ్డు, రవాణా కనెక్టివిటీ అత్యవసరమని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు గతంలోనూ ప్రస్తావించారు. విశాఖ నుంచి భోగాపురం చేరుకోవడంపై రవాణా సమస్యలు ఉంటే విమానాశ్రయం వినియోగం కూడా ఇబ్బందికరంగా మారుతుందని ఆయన వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
విశాఖ అభివృద్ధి, ప్రజా సమస్యలపై ప్రభుత్వ దృష్టి అవసరం
విశాఖపట్నం నగర భవిష్యత్ అవసరాలను దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకుని విశాఖ ఎయిర్పోర్ట్, భోగాపురం ఎయిర్పోర్ట్, రవాణా కనెక్టివిటీ, కోస్టల్ కారిడార్ అంశాలపై ప్రభుత్వం సమగ్రంగా దృష్టి సారించాలని విష్ణుకుమార్ రాజు కోరారు.
ఒకవైపు వైసీపీ ఎమ్మెల్యేలు అసెంబ్లీకి దూరంగా ఉండటాన్ని ప్రశ్నించిన ఆయన.. మరోవైపు విశాఖ ప్రజల ప్రయాణ అవసరాల కోసం విమాన సేవలు కొనసాగించాల్సిన అవసరాన్ని ప్రభుత్వం దృష్టికి తీసుకువచ్చారు. ప్రజా సమస్యలపై రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన సూచించారు.

VISAKHAPATNAM: BJP MLA P. Vishnu Kumar Raju has launched a sharp attack on YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy over the party’s decision to boycott the Assembly. He questioned the political strategy of Jagan and the decision of YSRCP MLAs to stay away from the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.
Speaking to the media in Visakhapatnam, Vishnu Kumar Raju said Jagan appeared to be receiving wrong political advice and advised him not to remain at home and “dream” about political power while staying away from the Assembly.
The BJP MLA questioned how voters would support YSRCP MLAs in the 2029 Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections if they do not attend the House and raise issues concerning their constituencies.
Vishnu Kumar Raju Questions YSRCP Assembly Boycott
According to Vishnu Kumar Raju, people elected 11 YSRCP MLAs and expected them to represent their concerns in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly. He said the continued absence of YSRCP MLAs amounts to disrespecting the voters who elected them.
He further argued that the votes cast by people for MLAs who do not attend the Assembly risk going to waste because elected representatives are expected to participate in legislative proceedings and raise public issues.
The comments by Vishnu Kumar Raju come amid continuing political debate in Andhra Pradesh over the role of the Opposition and the participation of YSRCP MLAs in the Assembly.
‘YSRCP MLAs Should Come to Assembly’
Responding to Jagan’s allegations that adequate time is not being given to YSRCP members in the Assembly, Vishnu Kumar Raju asked people not to believe such claims.
He said the ruling side was prepared to provide speaking time to YSRCP MLAs if they returned to the House.
“If YSRCP MLAs come to the Assembly, we will give them our time to speak as well,” Vishnu Kumar Raju said.
He challenged YSRCP MLAs to immediately attend the Assembly and participate in debates on key public issues.
The BJP MLA specifically referred to 22A land issues and alleged irregularities related to the Mega DSC recruitment as matters that should be debated in the Assembly.

Vishnu Kumar Raju said the Assembly is the appropriate platform for elected representatives to raise issues affecting people and demand answers from the government.
He urged YSRCP MLAs to use the Assembly to question the government instead of remaining absent.
The BJP MLA also suggested that YSRCP cadre themselves should hold protests and demand that their elected representatives return to the Assembly.
He further asked voters to carefully assess the performance of YSRCP MLAs before voting for the party in the upcoming local body elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Vishnu Kumar Raju Emotional Over Visakhapatnam Airport
Meanwhile, Vishnu Kumar Raju also expressed concern over the discontinuation of services at Visakhapatnam Airport.
Speaking about the airport, he said he had been using its services for nearly four decades and described the closure of an era at the airport as an emotional moment.
The BJP MLA said he would be travelling to Vijayawada on the last flight from Visakhapatnam Airport.
The future of domestic air connectivity from Visakhapatnam has become an important issue as the Bhogapuram International Airport project progresses.
Continue Domestic Flights From Visakhapatnam, Says BJP MLA
Vishnu Kumar Raju urged the Andhra Pradesh government to ensure that domestic flight services from Visakhapatnam continue until adequate road and transport connectivity to Bhogapuram International Airport is fully established.
He particularly sought the continuation of domestic flights connecting Visakhapatnam with major cities such as Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Tirupati.
According to the BJP MLA, the government should ensure that the Coastal Corridor road and transport connectivity to Bhogapuram International Airport are fully operational before discontinuing important domestic air services from Visakhapatnam.
Visakhapatnam Airport Connectivity Becomes Key Issue
The demand assumes significance for residents, business communities, tourists and frequent air travellers in North Andhra Pradesh.
Visakhapatnam is a major industrial and commercial centre, and reliable air connectivity with Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Tirupati and other major cities is considered important for the region’s economic activity.
Vishnu Kumar Raju said the government should take a comprehensive view of the transition from Visakhapatnam Airport to Bhogapuram International Airport and ensure that passengers do not face inconvenience during the transition.
Andhra Pradesh Politics: YSRCP vs BJP
The remarks by Vishnu Kumar Raju add another dimension to the ongoing political confrontation between the ruling alliance and the YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh.
