డ్రోన్లతో నిరంతర నిఘా.. రాత్రివేళ గస్తీ ముమ్మరం చేయాలని ఆదేశాలు

తిరుపతి, ఆగస్టు 16: చంద్రగిరి సమీపంలోని అటవీ ప్రాంతాల్లో అడవి ఏనుగుల సంచారం నేపథ్యంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రభుత్వం అప్రమత్తమైంది. తిరుపతి జిల్లా చంద్రగిరి, ఎర్రవారిపాలెం పరిసర ప్రాంతాల్లో ఏనుగుల గుంపులు సంచరిస్తున్న నేపథ్యంలో సమీప గ్రామాల ప్రజలను అప్రమత్తం చేయాలని రాష్ట్ర ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి, అటవీ–పర్యావరణ శాఖ మంత్రి పవన్ కల్యాణ్ అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఏనుగుల కదలికలపై నిరంతరం నిఘా ఉంచడంతో పాటు, మానవ–వన్యప్రాణి ఘర్షణలకు అవకాశం లేకుండా ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఇటీవల శేషాచలం అటవీ ప్రాంతం నుంచి ఏనుగుల గుంపులు రెండు వేర్వేరు గుంపులుగా కదులుతున్నట్లు అధికారులు గుర్తించారు. రాత్రివేళల్లో అటవీ సరిహద్దులకు సమీపంలోని పంట పొలాల వైపు ఏనుగులు వస్తుండటంతో పంటలకు నష్టం వాటిల్లుతున్నట్లు సమాచారం. ఈ పరిస్థితులపై పవన్ కల్యాణ్ అధికారులతో సమీక్షించి, ప్రజల భద్రతకు అత్యధిక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వాలని సూచించారు.

డ్రోన్లతో ఏనుగుల కదలికలపై నిఘా

చంద్రగిరి ఏనుగుల సంచారం నేపథ్యంలో అత్యాధునిక సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని వినియోగించాలని పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ఆదేశించారు. ఏనుగుల కదలికలను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు గుర్తించేందుకు డ్రోన్లను వినియోగించాలని, అవి ఏ మార్గంలో కదులుతున్నాయి, ఏ గ్రామాల వైపు వెళ్తున్నాయి అనే అంశాలను నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షించాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.

ఏనుగులు సంచరించే ప్రాంతాలను ముందుగానే గుర్తించి, అక్కడి ప్రజలకు హెచ్చరికలు జారీ చేయాలని తెలిపారు. ముఖ్యంగా రాత్రివేళల్లో అటవీ ప్రాంతాలకు సమీపంలోని గ్రామాల్లో గస్తీని మరింత పెంచాలని ఆదేశించారు.

రెవెన్యూ, పోలీస్, అటవీ శాఖల సమన్వయం

ఏనుగుల సంచారం ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో అటవీశాఖ, పోలీస్, రెవెన్యూ అధికారులు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేయాలని పవన్ కల్యాణ్ స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఏనుగులు కనిపించిన వెంటనే సమీప గ్రామాల ప్రజలను అప్రమత్తం చేసేలా స్థానిక సమాచార వ్యవస్థను బలోపేతం చేయాలని సూచించారు.

ఏనుగుల కదలికల సమాచారం అందిన వెంటనే సంబంధిత అధికారులు స్పందించేలా ప్రత్యేక సమన్వయ వ్యవస్థను ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని, అత్యవసర పరిస్థితుల్లో ఆలస్యం లేకుండా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ఆదేశించారు.

‘హనుమాన్’ బృందాలతో పర్యవేక్షణ

వన్యప్రాణులు–మనుషుల మధ్య ఘర్షణలను తగ్గించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర అటవీశాఖ రూపొందించిన ‘హనుమాన్’ ప్రాజెక్ట్లో భాగంగా ప్రత్యేక బృందాలను వినియోగించాలనే దిశగా కూడా చర్యలు చేపడుతున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ప్రధాన ఉద్దేశం వన్యప్రాణుల వల్ల ప్రజలకు, పంటలకు ఎదురయ్యే నష్టాలను తగ్గించడం, సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానంతో వేగంగా స్పందించడం.

ఏనుగులను తరిమికొట్టేందుకు ప్రజలు స్వయంగా ప్రయత్నించకూడదని, వాటి దగ్గరకు వెళ్లడం, ఫొటోలు లేదా వీడియోల కోసం వెంబడించడం, శబ్దాలు చేయడం వంటి చర్యలకు దూరంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు.

అటవీ సమీప గ్రామాలకు అలర్ట్

చంద్రగిరి, ఎర్రవారిపాలెం పరిసర గ్రామాల ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండాలని అధికారులు సూచిస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా రాత్రివేళల్లో అటవీ ప్రాంతాల వైపు వెళ్లకుండా జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని, ఏనుగుల కదలికలు కనిపిస్తే వెంటనే అటవీశాఖ లేదా పోలీసులకు సమాచారం అందించాలని సూచిస్తున్నారు.

Elephant Movement Near Chandragiri: Pawan Kalyan Orders Drone Surveillance, Night Patrols

Chandragiri, August 16: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has directed officials to take immediate precautionary measures following the movement of wild elephants in areas surrounding Chandragiri. He stressed that the safety of people living in villages close to forest areas must be given the highest priority.

Pawan Kalyan instructed the concerned departments to closely monitor the elephant movement near Chandragiri and ensure that residents receive timely alerts whenever elephants are spotted near human habitations.

Pawan Kalyan Orders Drone Surveillance
