హైదరాబాద్, ఆగస్టు 12: తెలంగాణ యువతకు భారత ఆర్మీలో ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలను మరింత పెంచే దిశగా రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డితో భారత ఆర్మీ సదరన్ కమాండ్ జనరల్ ఆఫీసర్ కమాండింగ్-ఇన్-చీఫ్ లెఫ్టినెంట్ జనరల్ సి. రాజేష్ పుష్కర్ బుధవారం మర్యాదపూర్వకంగా భేటీ అయ్యారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్, తెలంగాణ యువతకు శిక్షణ, జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో ఆర్మీ శిక్షణ కేంద్రాలు, విపత్తు నిర్వహణ, మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవనం వంటి కీలక అంశాలపై చర్చించారు.

తెలంగాణ యువతకు ఆర్మీ ఉద్యోగాలపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి

ఆర్మీ ఉద్యోగాలు సాధించాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ఉన్న తెలంగాణ యువతకు మరింత మెరుగైన అవకాశాలు కల్పించేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం, భారత ఆర్మీ కలిసి పనిచేయాలని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి సూచించారు. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహించే ఇండియన్ ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ ప్రక్రియపై గ్రామీణ, జిల్లా స్థాయి యువతలో అవగాహన పెంచడంతో పాటు.. రిక్రూట్మెంట్‌కు అవసరమైన శారీరక, ప్రాథమిక శిక్షణ అందించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు.

తెలంగాణలోని ఆసక్తి ఉన్న, అనువైన జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమాలు నిర్వహించాలని ముఖ్యమంత్రి కోరారు. ముఖ్యంగా జిల్లాల నుంచి వచ్చే యువతకు ఆర్మీ ఉద్యోగాల ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియ, అర్హతలు, శారీరక ప్రమాణాలు, పరీక్షలపై అవగాహన కల్పిస్తే మరింత మంది అభ్యర్థులు ఆర్మీలో చేరే అవకాశం ఉంటుందని ప్రభుత్వం భావిస్తోంది.

జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో ఆర్మీ శిక్షణ కేంద్రాలు

సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రతిపాదనపై లెఫ్టినెంట్ జనరల్ సి. రాజేష్ పుష్కర్ సానుకూలంగా స్పందించారు. దేశవ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహించే వివిధ ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్ డ్రైవ్‌లకు ముందు తెలంగాణలోని ఆయా జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో యువత కోసం శిక్షణ కేంద్రాలు ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు సుముఖత వ్యక్తం చేశారు. (Deccan Chronicle)

దీంతో తెలంగాణలో ఆర్మీ ఉద్యోగాల కోసం సిద్ధమవుతున్న యువతకు జిల్లా స్థాయిలోనే శిక్షణ పొందే అవకాశం ఏర్పడనుంది. హైదరాబాద్‌కు మాత్రమే పరిమితం కాకుండా జిల్లాల యువతకు కూడా ఇండియన్ ఆర్మీ ఉద్యోగాలు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావడానికి ఇది ఉపయోగపడుతుందని భావిస్తున్నారు.

ప్రస్తుతం ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్‌లో అర్హత సాధించేందుకు యువత శారీరక సామర్థ్యంతో పాటు రాత పరీక్ష, వైద్య పరీక్ష తదితర దశలకు సిద్ధం కావాల్సి ఉంటుంది. జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమాలు అందుబాటులోకి వస్తే గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల యువతకు కూడా ఆర్మీ నియామకాలపై సరైన మార్గదర్శకత్వం లభించనుంది.

విపత్తుల సమయంలో ఆర్మీ సేవలు మరింత విస్తృతం

భేటీలో విపత్తు నిర్వహణలో ఆర్మీ పాత్రపైనా సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి చర్చించారు. తెలంగాణలో భారీ వర్షాలు, వరదలు వంటి ప్రకృతి విపత్తులు సంభవించినప్పుడు ప్రభావిత ప్రాంతాల్లో రెస్క్యూ ఆపరేషన్లు, ప్రజలను సురక్షిత ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించడం, అత్యవసర సహాయక చర్యలు, పునరావాస కార్యక్రమాల్లో ఆర్మీ మరింత క్రియాశీలకంగా వ్యవహరించాలని సీఎం కోరారు.

వరదలు, భారీ వర్షాల సమయంలో రాష్ట్ర యంత్రాంగానికి అవసరమైన సందర్భాల్లో ఆర్మీ సహకారం కీలకంగా ఉంటుందని సీఎం పేర్కొన్నారు. దీనిపై స్పందించిన లెఫ్టినెంట్ జనరల్ రాజేష్ పుష్కర్.. తెలంగాణలో విపత్తు పరిస్థితులు ఎదురైనప్పుడు ప్రత్యేకంగా చొరవ తీసుకోవాలని స్థానిక ఆర్మీ అధికారులను ఆదేశిస్తామని తెలిపారు.

మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవనంపై ఆర్మీ ప్రశంసలు

ఈ భేటీలో తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా చేపడుతున్న మూసీ నది ప్రక్షాళన, మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవన ప్రాజెక్టు అంశం కూడా చర్చకు వచ్చింది. హైదరాబాద్ నగరానికి మూసీ నది ఎంతో కీలకమైనదని, నగరాన్ని రక్షించడంతో పాటు కాలుష్యాన్ని తగ్గించేందుకు మూసీ పునరుజ్జీవనం అవసరమని లెఫ్టినెంట్ జనరల్ రాజేష్ పుష్కర్ పేర్కొన్నారు.

మూసీ నది పునరుజ్జీవనం ద్వారా హైదరాబాద్ నగర పర్యావరణాన్ని మెరుగుపరచడంతో పాటు చారిత్రక వైభవాన్ని తిరిగి తీసుకురావడానికి అవకాశం ఉంటుందని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. హైదరాబాద్ అభివృద్ధి, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ పరంగా మూసీ ప్రాజెక్టు ప్రాధాన్యతను ఆయన ప్రశంసించారు. (Andhrajyothy Telugu News)

ముఖ్యంగా తెలంగాణ యువతకు ఆర్మీలో ఉద్యోగ అవకాశాలు, జిల్లా కేంద్రాల్లో శిక్షణ కేంద్రాల ఏర్పాటు, ఆర్మీ రిక్రూట్మెంట్‌పై అవగాహన పెంపు వంటి అంశాలు యువతకు ప్రయోజనం కలిగించే అవకాశం ఉంది.

Revanth Reddy Meets Army Southern Command Chief, Pushes for More Recruitment Opportunities for Telangana Youth

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has called for greater coordination between the Telangana government and the Indian Army to create more Army recruitment opportunities for Telangana youth. The Chief Minister made the proposal during a meeting with Lieutenant General C. Rajesh Pushkar, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Indian Army’s Southern Command.

The meeting focused on several important issues, including Indian Army recruitment in Telangana, training centres for Army aspirants, disaster management, rescue operations and the Musi River rejuvenation project.

Telangana Youth to Get More Army Recruitment Opportunities

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said the Telangana government was ready to work closely with the Indian Army to encourage and support local youth in various Army recruitment drives.

The Chief Minister particularly emphasised the need to provide better opportunities for young people from Telangana to join the Indian Army. He suggested conducting specialised training programmes at suitable district headquarters across Telangana ahead of Army recruitment drives.

The proposed training programmes are aimed at helping local youth understand the Army recruitment process, eligibility requirements and other selection procedures. Such initiatives could provide greater access to Army career opportunities for youth from districts and rural areas.

Training Centres to Be Set Up Before Army Recruitment Drives

Lieutenant General C. Rajesh Pushkar responded positively to the Chief Minister’s proposal and expressed willingness to establish Army recruitment training centres in Telangana district headquarters before various recruitment drives conducted across the country.

The initiative is expected to benefit thousands of Army job aspirants in Telangana, particularly those who may not have access to specialised coaching and physical training facilities.

District-level training centres could also help aspiring candidates prepare more effectively for the different stages of the Indian Army recruitment process.

The Telangana government’s focus on district-level training is aimed at ensuring that Army recruitment opportunities reach local youth across the state, rather than remaining concentrated in major urban centres.

Revanth Reddy Discusses Army Role in Disaster Management

The meeting also discussed the role of the Indian Army in disaster management in Telangana.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy requested the Army to play a more active role during emergencies, particularly in flood-affected areas. He highlighted the importance of Army support in rescue operations, evacuating people from vulnerable locations and assisting with rehabilitation and relief measures.

Telangana has witnessed situations involving heavy rains and flooding in different parts of the state. During such emergencies, coordinated rescue and relief operations can play a crucial role in protecting lives and property.

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar assured the Chief Minister that local Army authorities would be instructed to take special initiatives whenever disaster situations arise in Telangana.

Army Praises Musi River Rejuvenation Project

The Musi River rejuvenation project undertaken by the Telangana government also came up for discussion during the meeting.

Lieutenant General Rajesh Pushkar appreciated the state government’s ambitious efforts to rejuvenate the Musi River. He said the revival of the river was important for protecting Hyderabad, reducing pollution and restoring the historical character of the city.

The Musi River rejuvenation project is being positioned as a major urban and environmental initiative for Hyderabad. The project is aimed at addressing pollution concerns and improving the overall environment and quality of life in areas surrounding the river.

Stronger Telangana Government–Army Coordination
