ఉప్పల్ స్టేడియం దగ్గర బ్లాక్లో ఐపీఎల్ టికెట్ల దందా హైదరాబాద్లోని ఉప్పల్ స్టేడియం దగ్గర బ్లాక్లో ఐపీఎల్ టికెట్ల దందా కలకలం రేపింది. బహిరంగంగానే స్టేడియం బయట తిరుగుతూ బ్లాక్లో ఐపీఎల్ మ్యాచ్ కాంప్లిమెంటరీ టికెట్లు విక్రయిస్తున్న నలుగురు వ్యక్తులను ఎల్బీనగర్ ఎస్ఓటీ పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. ప్రాథమిక విచారణ అనంతరం వారిని ఉప్పల్ పోలీసులకు అప్పగించారు. ఐపీఎల్ మ్యాచ్కు ఉన్న క్రేజ్ను ఆసరాగా చేసుకుని కొందరు అక్రమ మార్గాల్లో లాభాలు పొందేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో సీపీ సుమతి ఆదేశాలతో బ్లాక్ టికెట్లపై ఉప్పల్ పోలీసులు దృష్టి సారించారు.ఐపీఎల్ 2026లో భాగంగా నేడు హైదరాబాద్లోని ఉప్పల్ స్టేడియం వేదికగా సన్రైజర్స్ హైదరాబాద్, రాయల్ ఛాలెంజర్స్ బెంగళూరు జట్లు తలపడనున్నాయి. ఎస్ఆర్హెచ్కు ఇది చివరి లీగ్ మ్యాచ్. దీంతో ఐపీఎల్ టికెట్ల కోసం అభిమానులు తీవ్రంగా ప్రయత్నిస్తున్నారు. ఇదే చివరి లీగ్ మ్యాచ్ కావడంతో సన్రైజర్స్ హైదరాబాద్ యాజమాన్యం కూడా ఐపీఎల్ టికెట్ల ధరలను భారీగా పెంచింది. రూ.950 టికెట్ ధరను రూ.2 వేలకు, రూ.1500 టికెట్ను రూ.3వేలకు, రూ.1910 టికెట్ను రూ.3,500కు, రూ.2,500 టికెట్ ధరను రూ.4,500కు, రూ.7 వేల టికెట్ను రూ.10 వేలకు, రూ.23 వేల బాక్స్ టికెట్ ధరను రూ.30 వేలకు పెంచారు. అంత ధరలు పెట్టలేక, మ్యాచ్ను స్టేడియంలో చూసేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తోన్న అభిమానులను ఆసరాగా చేసుకుని బ్లాక్లో టికెట్లు విక్రయిస్తున్న ముఠాను పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు. అభిమానులు టికెట్ల కొనుగోలు విషయంలో జాగ్రత్తగా ఉండాలని, అనధికార వ్యక్తుల నుంచి టికెట్లు కొనుగోలు చేయవద్దని సూచించారు.

Near the Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad, an IPL ticket black market racket created a stir ahead of the IPL 2026 match. LB Nagar SOT police detained four individuals who were openly selling complimentary IPL match tickets in black outside the stadium. After preliminary questioning, they were handed over to the Uppal police.
Police said some people were trying to make illegal profits by taking advantage of the huge craze for IPL matches. Following the instructions of CP Sumathi, Uppal police intensified their focus on black ticket sales around the stadium.
As part of IPL 2026, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are set to face off today at Uppal Stadium in Hyderabad. Since this is SRH’s final league match, fans have been making intense efforts to secure IPL tickets.
With high demand for the match, Sunrisers Hyderabad management reportedly increased ticket prices significantly. Ticket prices were raised from ₹950 to ₹2,000, ₹1,500 to ₹3,000, ₹1,910 to ₹3,500, ₹2,500 to ₹4,500, ₹7,000 to ₹10,000, and ₹23,000 box tickets to ₹30,000.
Unable to afford the increased ticket prices, many fans turned to unofficial sellers, which encouraged black market ticket sales near the stadium. Police have advised cricket fans to be cautious while purchasing IPL tickets and warned them not to buy tickets from unauthorized persons.
