ములుగు, ఆగస్టు 14: ములుగు జిల్లా తాడ్వాయి మండలంలోని ప్రసిద్ధ వనదేవతల ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రం మేడారం త్వరలో కొత్త శోభను సంతరించుకోనుంది. భక్తులకు మెరుగైన సౌకర్యాలు కల్పించడంతో పాటు మేడారం పరిసర ప్రాంతాలను సర్వాంగ సుందరంగా తీర్చిదిద్దేందుకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన రూ.294 కోట్ల అభివృద్ధి పనులు తుది దశకు చేరుకున్నాయి. గిరిజన సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలు, ఆచార వ్యవహారాల వైభవం ప్రతిబింబించేలా మేడారం అభివృద్ధి పనులను ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టింది.
సుదూర ప్రాంతాల నుంచి మేడారం వచ్చే భక్తులకు ఆధ్యాత్మిక అనుభూతితో పాటు మెరుగైన మౌలిక వసతులు అందించడమే లక్ష్యంగా నిర్మాణాలు, సుందరీకరణ పనులు కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. క్షేత్ర పవిత్రతకు ఎలాంటి భంగం కలగకుండా భక్తుల సౌకర్యాలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తూ మేడారం అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టును వేగంగా పూర్తి చేస్తున్నట్లు అధికారులు తెలిపారు.
ఈ నెల 16న మేడారానికి సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి
ములుగు జిల్లా పర్యటనలో భాగంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి ఈ నెల 16న మేడారంలో పర్యటించనున్నారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా వనదేవతలను దర్శించుకొని మొక్కులు చెల్లించుకోనున్నారు. అనంతరం తుది దశకు చేరుకున్న మేడారం అభివృద్ధి పనులను పరిశీలించనున్నారు.
మేడారం భవిష్యత్తులో చేపట్టాల్సిన విస్తరణ, మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధి, భక్తుల సౌకర్యాలకు సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై సీఎం అధికారులకు పలు సూచనలు, సలహాలు, ఆదేశాలు ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు మంత్రి సీతక్క తెలిపారు.
సీఎం పర్యటన నేపథ్యంలో మంత్రి సీతక్క పరిశీలన
ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి మేడారం పర్యటన నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి సీతక్క గురువారం మేడారంలో పర్యటించారు. కలెక్టర్ హేమంత్ సహదేవరావు, ఎస్పీ సుధీర్ రామ్నాథ్ కేకన్, ఐటీడీఏ పీవో లెనిన్ వత్సల్ టొప్పోతో కలిసి మేడారంలో జరుగుతున్న అభివృద్ధి పనులను పరిశీలించారు.
అనంతరం వనదేవతల ప్రాంగణం వద్ద మంత్రి సీతక్క విలేకరులతో మాట్లాడారు. గిరిజనుల ఆధ్యాత్మిక క్షేత్రమైన మేడారాన్ని అభివృద్ధి చేయాలనే సంకల్పంతో సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి ముందుకు వెళ్తున్నారని తెలిపారు. ఇందులో భాగంగానే ప్రభుత్వం రూ.294 కోట్ల నిధులు మంజూరు చేసిందన్నారు.
గిరిజన సంస్కృతి ప్రతిబింబించేలా అభివృద్ధి
మేడారం అభివృద్ధి పనుల్లో గిరిజనుల సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాలు, ఆచార వ్యవహారాలకు ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నట్లు మంత్రి సీతక్క తెలిపారు. భవిష్యత్తు తరాల అవసరాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని మౌలిక వసతులను అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
మేడారం వనదేవతల క్షేత్రం ప్రత్యేకత, పవిత్రతను కాపాడుతూనే భక్తులకు అవసరమైన సౌకర్యాలను కల్పిస్తున్నామని వివరించారు. భక్తుల సౌకర్యమే ప్రభుత్వానికి అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని, అందుకే అభివృద్ధి పనులను వేగవంతం చేశామని తెలిపారు.
అంతర్జాతీయ పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా మేడారం
మేడారాన్ని అంతర్జాతీయ పర్యాటక కేంద్రంగా తీర్చిదిద్దడమే రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని మంత్రి సీతక్క వెల్లడించారు. వనదేవతల ఆధ్యాత్మిక ప్రాధాన్యంతో పాటు గిరిజన సంస్కృతి, ప్రకృతి అందాలను ప్రపంచస్థాయిలో పరిచయం చేసే విధంగా మేడారం అభివృద్ధికి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
భవిష్యత్తులో మేడారం విస్తరణ, అభివృద్ధి పనులకు సంబంధించి సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి మరిన్ని సూచనలు చేసే అవకాశం ఉందన్నారు. ఆదివారం సీఎం పర్యటనను విజయవంతం చేసేందుకు అన్ని శాఖల అధికారులు సమన్వయంతో ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారని తెలిపారు.
ఒంటరి, వితంతు మహిళలకు పింఛన్లు
సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి వనదేవతలను దర్శించుకున్న అనంతరం అర్హులైన ఒంటరి, వితంతు మహిళలకు పింఛన్ల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమానికి మేడారం నుంచే శ్రీకారం చుట్టనున్నట్లు మంత్రి సీతక్క తెలిపారు. దీంతో సీఎం పర్యటనలో మేడారం అభివృద్ధితో పాటు సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమానికి కూడా ప్రాధాన్యం లభించనుంది.
అధికారుల సమన్వయంతో ఏర్పాట్లు
ముఖ్యమంత్రి పర్యటన నేపథ్యంలో మేడారంలో భద్రత, పారిశుద్ధ్యం, రహదారులు, భక్తుల సౌకర్యాలు, వాహనాల రాకపోకలు తదితర అంశాలపై అధికారులు ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించారు. వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులు సమన్వయంతో ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తున్నారు.
ఈ పర్యటనలో ఏటూరునాగారం ఏఎస్పీ మనన్ భట్, అదనపు కలెక్టర్లు సీహెచ్. మహేందర్జీ, సంపత్రావు, జిల్లా గ్రంథాలయ సంస్థ చైర్మన్ బానోత్ రవిచందర్, వ్యవసాయ మార్కెట్ కమిటీ చైర్పర్సన్ రేగా కల్యాణి, ఆర్డీవో కృష్ణవేణి, ములుగు డీఎస్పీ రవీందర్, దేవస్థానం ఈవో వీరస్వామి, స్థానిక సీఐ దయాకర్, ఎస్సై కమలాకర్, కాంట్రాక్టర్లు, వివిధ శాఖల అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

MULUGU: Medaram, the revered abode of the tribal deities in Tadvai mandal of Mulugu district, is all set to receive a major facelift as the Telangana government’s Medaram development works have entered the final stage.
The government is undertaking extensive infrastructure and beautification works at Medaram to improve facilities for devotees arriving from different parts of Telangana and other states. The development plan aims to provide visitors with a better spiritual experience while preserving the religious sanctity, tribal traditions and cultural identity of the historic shrine.
As part of his Mulugu district visit, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will visit Medaram on August 16. The Chief Minister is expected to offer prayers to the tribal deities and review the development works that are nearing completion.
CM Revanth Reddy to Review Medaram Development Works
During his Medaram visit, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inspect the ongoing and completed infrastructure projects and review the arrangements being made for devotees.
The visit assumes significance as the Telangana government has sanctioned ₹294 crore for Medaram development works. The projects are being implemented with a focus on improving basic infrastructure and visitor facilities while ensuring that the traditional character of the tribal pilgrimage centre is preserved.

Minister Seethakka Inspects Development Works
Ahead of CM Revanth Reddy’s Medaram visit, Telangana Minister Seethakka inspected the development works at Medaram on Thursday.
She was accompanied by Mulugu Collector Hemanth Sahadevarao, Superintendent of Police Sudheer Ramnath Kekan and ITDA Project Officer Lenin Vatsal Toppo.
After inspecting various works, Minister Seethakka addressed the media at the Vanadevata premises and said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was committed to developing Medaram as a major spiritual and tourism destination.
According to Seethakka, the government has sanctioned ₹294 crore for the development of Medaram with a long-term vision that takes into account the needs of future generations.
Tribal Culture to Remain at the Centre of Development
The Medaram development project is being implemented in a manner that highlights the rich tribal culture, traditions, customs and spiritual heritage associated with the Vanadevatas.
The government is seeking to modernise facilities without compromising the sanctity of the shrine. Officials have been instructed to ensure that development and beautification works do not adversely affect the traditional character of the pilgrimage centre.
Minister Seethakka said that devotee convenience is the government’s top priority and that the project was being expedited to provide better facilities to pilgrims.

After offering prayers to the Vanadevatas, CM Revanth Reddy is expected to launch a programme to provide pensions to eligible single and widowed women from the premises of the tribal deities.
The programme will add a welfare dimension to the Chief Minister’s visit and underline the government’s focus on extending social security benefits to eligible beneficiaries.
Officials Coordinate Arrangements for CM’s Visit
Government departments have intensified preparations to ensure the success of the Chief Minister’s visit on August 16.
Senior officials are coordinating arrangements related to the Medaram development projects, security, visitor facilities and the official programme.
Eturunagaram ASP Manan Bhatt, Additional Collectors CH Mahenderji and Sampath Rao, District Library Organisation Chairman Banoth Ravichander, Agriculture Market Committee Chairperson Rega Kalyani, RDO Krishnaveni, Mulugu DSP Ravinder, Temple Executive Officer Veeraswamy, local CI Dayakar, SI Kamalakar, contractors and officials from various departments participated in the inspection and review.
Medaram Development Gains Momentum
With ₹294 crore worth of development works nearing completion and Chief Minister Revanth Reddy scheduled to visit the shrine, attention is now focused on the next phase of development at Medaram.
The Telangana government’s approach combines infrastructure development with the preservation of tribal heritage and religious traditions.
