బుధవారం నిర్వహించిన జనసేన స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల అవగాహన కార్యక్రమంలో నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ మాట్లాడారు. మున్సిపల్, కార్పొరేషన్ ఎన్నికల్లో ఈసారి ప్రత్యక్ష ఎన్నికల విధానం అమల్లోకి వస్తుందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. గతంలో మాదిరిగా పరోక్షంగా ఒకరిని ఎన్నుకునే విధానానికి స్వస్తి పలికినట్లు పేర్కొన్నారు.
జనసేనకు బలమున్న ప్రాంతాల్లో పోటీ
స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో జనసేన బలం ఉన్న ప్రాంతాల్లో తప్పకుండా పోటీ చేస్తుందని నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ తెలిపారు. పంతాలకు, వ్యక్తిగత పట్టుదలకు పోకుండా పార్టీకి వాస్తవంగా బలం ఉన్న ప్రాంతాలను గుర్తించాలని నాయకులకు సూచించారు.

జనసైనికుల సంక్షేమం కోసం జనసేన పార్టీ తొలుత రూ.5 కోట్లతో ఇన్సూరెన్స్ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసిందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. పార్టీ కార్యకర్తల సంక్షేమానికి జనసేన అధినేత పవన్ కల్యాణ్ ఎప్పుడూ ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తారని అన్నారు.
వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో కౌలు రైతులు అనేక ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొన్నారని, పలువురు ఆత్మహత్యలకు పాల్పడ్డారని నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ పేర్కొన్నారు. ఆ సమయంలో జనసేన అధినేత పవన్ కల్యాణ్ తన సొంత డబ్బుతో బాధితులకు ఆర్థిక సాయం అందించారని గుర్తుచేశారు.

ఈ ప్రాంతాల్లో పార్టీ శ్రేణులు సమన్వయంతో పనిచేసి స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో మెరుగైన ఫలితాలు సాధించాలని సూచించారు.
హింసకు తావులేకుండా ఎన్నికలు
వైసీపీ నేతలు హింసను ప్రేరేపించేలా వ్యాఖ్యలు చేస్తున్నారని నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ విమర్శించారు. ‘రక్తం ప్రవహిస్తుంది’ వంటి వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడం ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి మంచిది కాదన్నారు.
ఏకగ్రీవ ఎన్నికల విషయంలోనూ వైసీపీపై ఆయన విమర్శలు చేశారు. గత ప్రభుత్వ హయాంలో జనసేన నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు అనేక దాడులను ఎదుర్కొన్నారని గుర్తుచేశారు.
అయితే రాబోయే స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలను ప్రశాంత వాతావరణంలో నిర్వహించేందుకు పార్టీ శ్రేణులు కృషి చేయాలని సూచించారు.

స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో 100 శాతం విజయమే లక్ష్యంగా జనసేన నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు పనిచేయాలని నాదెండ్ల మనోహర్ పిలుపునిచ్చారు. వ్యక్తిగత ఆశలు, పంతాలు పక్కనపెట్టి పార్టీ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం పనిచేయాలని సూచించారు.

Minister Nadendla Manohar has called upon party leaders and cadres to gear up for the upcoming AP Local Body Elections and work with the goal of achieving a 100 per cent victory.
Addressing a Jana Sena local body elections awareness programme on Wednesday, Nadendla Manohar said the party would contest from areas where it has a strong organisational presence. He asked party leaders to identify Jana Sena strongholds well in advance and prepare suitable candidates.
Jana Sena to Contest in Strongholds
Nadendla Manohar said Jana Sena will contest the AP Local Body Elections in areas where the party has a strong base. He urged leaders not to allow personal differences, rivalries or individual ambitions to affect the party’s electoral strategy.
The minister said party workers who played an important role in the membership drive and those who have consistently worked for Jana Sena would be given priority in the selection process.
He also stressed that candidates should have a strong connection with the party and said Jana Sena membership would be an important consideration while selecting candidates.
Direct Elections for Municipalities and Corporations
A key point highlighted by Nadendla Manohar was the election process for municipalities and corporations. He said municipal and corporation elections would be held directly this time, bringing an end to the earlier system where representatives collectively elected one among themselves.

The minister said party workers who aspire to become mayors, chairpersons and ward members would get opportunities in the future. However, he stressed that party discipline must remain paramount.

“Everyone cannot be given positions at the same time. Make use of the opportunities provided by the party,” he told the cadres.
Nadendla Manohar said the party’s electoral strategy should be based on organisational strength rather than personal preferences.
Pawan Kalyan to Review Election Preparations
Nadendla Manohar announced that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is scheduled to visit Mangalagiri on September 15.
He said Pawan Kalyan would review the party’s preparations for the AP Local Body Elections and discuss the election strategy with party leaders.
He also said coordination committee meetings involving alliance partners would be held on September 12 and 15.
The minister reminded Jana Sena leaders that the party is part of the ruling alliance in Andhra Pradesh and asked them to ensure better coordination with alliance partners.

According to Nadendla Manohar, the first phase of the AP Local Body Elections will focus on corporations and municipalities.
He asked party leaders to identify areas where Jana Sena has a strong organisational presence and prepare accordingly.
He specifically mentioned Yelamanchili and Narsipatnam as areas where Jana Sena has a strong base. He also pointed out that the Kakinada parliamentary constituency has five municipalities.
Rs 5 Crore Insurance for Jana Sainiks
Nadendla Manohar also highlighted the party’s welfare initiatives for its cadres. He said an insurance initiative worth Rs 5 crore was initially established for the welfare of Jana Sainiks.
Recalling the party’s activities during the previous YSRCP government, he said many tenant farmers faced serious difficulties and several farmers died by suicide.
He claimed that Pawan Kalyan provided financial assistance from his own funds to support affected farmers.
The minister praised Pawan Kalyan’s leadership and said Jana Sena workers were working under a leader known for his integrity.
Attack on YSRCP Over Violence Remarks
Nadendla Manohar criticised YSRCP leaders over alleged statements that could provoke violence during the election process.
He objected to remarks suggesting that “blood will flow” and said such statements were inappropriate in a democratic election.
He also alleged that the previous government had witnessed attacks against Jana Sena leaders and workers.
However, he called upon party cadres to maintain restraint and ensure that the upcoming AP Local Body Elections are conducted peacefully.
