హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణ నీటి వాటా విషయంలో ఎక్కడా రాజీపడబోమని రాష్ట్ర పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి డి. శ్రీధర్బాబు స్పష్టం చేశారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాల కోసం నీటి వాటాపై బలంగా పోరాడుతామని తెలిపారు. బుధవారం హైదరాబాద్లోని గాంధీభవన్లో మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన ఆయన.. కృష్ణా, గోదావరి నీటి వాటాలు, జీఆర్ఎంబీ సమావేశం, రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి, భూకేటాయింపులు, హిల్ట్ పాలసీ తదితర అంశాలపై కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు.

తెలంగాణకు దక్కాల్సిన నీటి వాటా విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం ఎట్టి పరిస్థితుల్లోనూ రాజీపడబోదని శ్రీధర్బాబు చెప్పారు. జీఆర్ఎంబీ సమావేశానికి హాజరవుతామని, తెలంగాణ హక్కుల కోసం బలంగా వాదిస్తామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం నీటి వాటాల విషయంలో తెలంగాణకు తీవ్ర నష్టం చేసిందని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు.
తెలంగాణ నీటి వాటా విషయంలో ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం స్పష్టమైన వైఖరితో ముందుకు వెళ్తోందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. రాష్ట్ర ప్రయోజనాలకు సంబంధించిన అంశాల్లో రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా పోరాడాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు.
కేటీఆర్పై శ్రీధర్బాబు తీవ్ర విమర్శలు
బీఆర్ఎస్ కార్యనిర్వాహక అధ్యక్షుడు కేటీఆర్ అసత్య ప్రచారంతో ప్రజలను పక్కదోవ పట్టిస్తున్నారని శ్రీధర్బాబు మండిపడ్డారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ చేస్తున్న గోబెల్స్ ప్రచారాన్ని తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు నమ్మడం లేదని అన్నారు. ప్రజలు వాస్తవాలను గమనిస్తున్నారని, అందుకే ఎంపీ ఎన్నికలు, స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీఆర్ఎస్కు తగిన సమాధానం చెప్పారని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
కేటీఆర్ ఆరోపణలకు ఆధారాలు చూపించాలని మంత్రి డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ముఖ్యంగా మాజీ ముఖ్యమంత్రి కేసీఆర్ ఫామ్హౌస్లో పండిన వరికి వచ్చిన ధర ఎంత? అనేది కేటీఆర్ ప్రజలకు చెప్పాలని ప్రశ్నించారు.
భూకేటాయింపులపై కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు
భూముల కేటాయింపుల విషయంలో కూడా కేటీఆర్ చేస్తున్న ఆరోపణలను శ్రీధర్బాబు ఖండించారు. తాము కోటిన్నర రూపాయలకు ఇచ్చిన భూమిని గత బీఆర్ఎస్ ప్రభుత్వం రూ.90 లక్షలకే ఇచ్చిందని గుర్తు చేశారు. ప్రస్తుత ప్రభుత్వం నిబంధనల ప్రకారమే భూకేటాయింపులు చేపట్టిందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
5 ఎకరాల భూమిని రూ.7.5 కోట్లకు కేటాయించామని శ్రీధర్బాబు తెలిపారు. అయితే కేటీఆర్ చెబుతున్న రూ.200 కోట్ల లెక్క ఎక్కడి నుంచి వచ్చిందో చెప్పాలని సవాల్ చేశారు. భూముల కేటాయింపులపై రాజకీయ ఆరోపణలు చేయడం కంటే వాస్తవాలను ప్రజలకు వివరించాలని సూచించారు.
హిల్ట్ పాలసీతో హైదరాబాద్కు మేలు
హిల్ట్ పాలసీ వల్ల హైదరాబాద్ ప్రజలకు ప్రయోజనం కలుగుతుందని శ్రీధర్బాబు విశ్వాసం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. పారిశ్రామిక వేత్తలను భయపెట్టే విధంగా వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడం కేటీఆర్కు మంచిది కాదన్నారు. పెట్టుబడులు, పరిశ్రమలు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాల ద్వారా హైదరాబాద్, తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి చెందాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని చెప్పారు.
తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధిని అడ్డుకోవడం సరైన విధానం కాదని కేటీఆర్కు మంత్రి హితవు పలికారు. తమపై ఉన్న రాజకీయ కోపాన్ని తెలంగాణ ప్రజలపై చూపవద్దని సూచించారు.

తెలంగాణలో పెట్టుబడులను ప్రోత్సహించడం, పారిశ్రామిక అభివృద్ధిని వేగవంతం చేయడం, హైదరాబాద్ను మరింత అభివృద్ధి చేయడం ప్రభుత్వ లక్ష్యమని శ్రీధర్బాబు పేర్కొన్నారు. పరిశ్రమలు, పెట్టుబడులు, ఉపాధి, మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధి విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం తీసుకుంటున్న నిర్ణయాలను రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం విమర్శించడం తగదన్నారు.

Telangana Water Share Sridhar Babu Says No Compromise, Hits Back at KTR
Hyderabad: Telangana Industries Minister D. Sridhar Babu has made it clear that the state government will not compromise on Telangana’s rightful share of water. He said the government would strongly fight for the state’s interests and take up the issue at the upcoming Godavari River Management Board (GRMB) meeting.
Speaking at Gandhi Bhavan on Wednesday, Sridhar Babu alleged that the previous BRS government had caused serious damage to Telangana’s interests in the allocation of water. He said the Congress government would firmly protect Telangana water rights and would not remain silent on issues concerning the state’s share.
Telangana Will Fight for Its Water Rights
Sridhar Babu said Telangana would participate in the GRMB meeting and strongly present the state’s position on its water share.
“Telangana will not compromise anywhere on its water share,” the minister said, stressing that protecting Telangana’s water rights is a priority for the government.
He alleged that the previous BRS government failed to adequately safeguard Telangana’s interests in water allocation. According to him, the present government is committed to taking up the issue more aggressively and ensuring that Telangana gets its legitimate share.
The Telangana water dispute and the allocation of water between the states remain politically sensitive issues, with both the Congress and BRS frequently accusing each other of failing to protect the state’s interests.
Sridhar Babu Targets KTR Over Allegations
The Industries Minister also launched a sharp attack on BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), accusing him of misleading people with what he described as false information.
Sridhar Babu alleged that the BRS leadership was attempting to divert public attention through political allegations instead of presenting facts.
He challenged KTR to reveal the price received for the paddy cultivated at former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s farmhouse.
The minister said KTR should provide facts and figures instead of making allegations against the government.
Land Allocations: Minister Questions ₹200 Crore Claim
Sridhar Babu also responded to allegations concerning land allocations.
He claimed that land which the Congress government had given for around ₹1.5 crore had previously been allotted by the BRS government for ₹90 lakh. He maintained that the current government had made land allocations strictly according to the applicable rules and regulations.
The minister said five acres of land were allotted for ₹7.5 crore and questioned KTR’s claim regarding a ₹200 crore valuation.
“If KTR is saying the figure is ₹200 crore, where did that ₹200 crore come from?” Sridhar Babu asked, demanding that the BRS leader explain the basis for the claim.
The remarks have added another political dimension to the ongoing debate over land allocation in Telangana, with the ruling Congress and opposition BRS trading allegations over government decisions.
Sridhar Babu Defends HILT Policy
Sridhar Babu also defended the government’s HILT policy, saying it would ultimately benefit people in Hyderabad.
He expressed confidence that the policy would contribute to development and generate greater opportunities for the city.
The minister cautioned KTR against creating fear among industrialists and investors through political statements. According to Sridhar Babu, discouraging industrialists could adversely affect Telangana’s growth prospects.
‘Don’t Target Telangana’s Development’
Sridhar Babu said preventing or slowing down Telangana development was not in the interests of the state.
He appealed to KTR not to allow political differences with the Congress government to turn into opposition to development initiatives.
The minister also said that political anger against the government should not be directed at the people of Telangana.
“Do not show your anger against us on the people of Telangana,” he said, while defending the government’s development agenda.
BRS ‘Propaganda’ Rejected by People: Sridhar Babu
The minister further alleged that the BRS had relied on what he described as “Goebbels propaganda” to attack the Congress government.
Sridhar Babu claimed that people had rejected such propaganda and pointed to the electoral performance of the BRS as evidence.
He said the BRS had faced setbacks in Lok Sabha elections and local body elections because voters did not accept the party’s campaign against the government.
The minister maintained that the Congress government would continue to focus on Telangana development, industrial growth, investment, infrastructure and protecting the state’s water rights.
