మెట్రో ఫేజ్-2పై సీఎం ఫోకస్.. పనులు వేగవంతం చేయాలని ఆదేశం
హైదరాబాద్: హైదరాబాద్ పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో పనుల్లో వేగం పెంచాలని తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. పాతబస్తీ మెట్రోకు సంబంధించి పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న భూసేకరణ, రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పనులను త్వరితగతిన పూర్తి చేయాలని సూచించారు. ఎంజీబీఎస్-చాంద్రాయణగుట్ట మెట్రో కారిడార్ పనులపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్రెడ్డి కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకున్నారు.
పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో పనుల పురోగతిపై సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి మంగళవారం MCRHRDలో సంబంధిత అధికారులతో సమీక్ష సమావేశం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా మెట్రో ఫేజ్-2 పనులు, ముఖ్యంగా ఎంజీబీఎస్-చాంద్రాయణగుట్ట మెట్రో కారిడార్ నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించిన అంశాలపై అధికారులతో చర్చించారు.
7.5 కిలోమీటర్ల రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పూర్తి చేయాలి
పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో మార్గంలో చేపట్టాల్సిన రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పనులను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి ఆదేశించారు. సుమారు 7.5 కిలోమీటర్ల మేర రోడ్డు విస్తరణ పనులను త్వరితగతిన పూర్తి చేసి మెట్రో నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన మార్గాన్ని సిద్ధం చేయాలని అధికారులకు సూచించారు.
పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో నిర్మాణ పనులకు ఎలాంటి ఆటంకాలు లేకుండా అవసరమైన చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని సీఎం స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఇప్పటికే పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న భూసేకరణ ప్రక్రియను కూడా వేగవంతం చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
మెట్రో పనులకు త్వరగా టెండర్లు
పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో పనులకు సంబంధించి టెండర్ ప్రక్రియను వీలైనంత త్వరగా ప్రారంభించాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి అధికారులకు దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు. ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించిన పనులను దశలవారీగా వేగవంతం చేస్తూ నిర్దేశిత సమయంలో పూర్తి చేసేలా కార్యాచరణ రూపొందించాలని సూచించారు.
హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో ఫేజ్-2లో కీలకమైన పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో కారిడార్ నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించి భూసేకరణ, రోడ్డు విస్తరణ, టెండర్ల ప్రక్రియ తదితర అంశాలపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టాలని సీఎం సూచించారు.
మెట్రో రద్దీకి అనుగుణంగా అదనపు కోచ్లు
హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రోలో పెరుగుతున్న ప్రయాణికుల రద్దీని దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకుని అదనపు మెట్రో కోచ్లను కొనుగోలు చేయాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి సూచించారు. భవిష్యత్తులో పెరిగే ప్రయాణికుల సంఖ్యకు అనుగుణంగా మెట్రో రవాణా సామర్థ్యాన్ని పెంచేందుకు ముందస్తు ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
మెట్రో రైళ్ల నిర్వహణ, ఆధునిక సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానం వినియోగం తదితర అంశాల్లో ఢిల్లీ మెట్రో నుంచి సలహాలు, సూచనలు తీసుకోవాలని సీఎం అధికారులకు సూచించారు. ప్రస్తుత అవసరాలకు అనుగుణంగా ఆధునిక టెక్నాలజీని ఉపయోగించుకునేలా చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని తెలిపారు.
డిసెంబర్లో ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్
సమీక్ష సమావేశంలో ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్పైనా సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి కీలక ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. డిసెంబర్లో ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్ను నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ఈ సమ్మిట్ను అంతర్జాతీయ ప్రమాణాలతో నిర్వహించేందుకు అవసరమైన ప్రణాళికలను సిద్ధం చేయాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
తెలంగాణలో మరిన్ని పెట్టుబడులను ఆకర్షించేలా సమ్మిట్ నిర్వహణ ఉండాలని సీఎం సూచించారు. దేశీయ, అంతర్జాతీయ పెట్టుబడిదారులను ఆకర్షించే విధంగా రాష్ట్రంలో అందుబాటులో ఉన్న అవకాశాలను సమర్థవంతంగా ప్రదర్శించాలని తెలిపారు.
గత సమ్మిట్ పెట్టుబడులపై పూర్తి నివేదిక
గతంలో నిర్వహించిన ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ సమ్మిట్ ద్వారా వచ్చిన పెట్టుబడులు, ఆయా ప్రాజెక్టుల పురోగతి, ప్రస్తుతం అమలులో ఉన్న ప్రాజెక్టులు తదితర అంశాలపై పూర్తి నివేదిక అందించాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
పెట్టుబడుల ప్రకటనలకే పరిమితం కాకుండా.. అవి వాస్తవంగా కార్యరూపం దాల్చేలా నిరంతర పర్యవేక్షణ ఉండాలని సూచించారు. వివిధ రంగాల్లో పెట్టుబడులను మరింత పెంచేందుకు ప్రత్యేక కార్యాచరణ రూపొందించాలని అధికారులకు మార్గనిర్దేశం చేశారు.
ప్రముఖులకు సన్మానం
ఇన్వెస్ట్ తెలంగాణ గ్లోబల్ సమ్మిట్లో వివిధ రంగాల్లో గుర్తింపు పొందిన ప్రముఖులను సన్మానించాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి సూచించారు. తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధికి, పారిశ్రామిక రంగానికి, పెట్టుబడుల ఆకర్షణకు, వివిధ రంగాల్లో విశేష సేవలు అందించిన ప్రముఖులను గుర్తించి సమ్మిట్లో గౌరవించాలని అధికారులకు తెలిపారు.

మొత్తంగా చూస్తే పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో పనులను వేగవంతం చేయడం, పెండింగ్ భూసేకరణను పూర్తి చేయడం, 7.5 కిలోమీటర్ల రోడ్డు విస్తరణను చేపట్టడం, త్వరగా టెండర్ల ప్రక్రియను ప్రారంభించడం వంటి అంశాలపై సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి స్పష్టమైన దిశానిర్దేశం చేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్ నగరంలో ప్రజా రవాణాను మరింత బలోపేతం చేయడంలో హైదరాబాద్ మెట్రో ఫేజ్-2 కీలకంగా మారనుంది. ముఖ్యంగా పాతబస్తీ ప్రాంతానికి మెట్రో రైలు సేవలను విస్తరించడం ద్వారా ఈ ప్రాంత ప్రజలకు మెరుగైన ప్రజా రవాణా సౌకర్యం అందుబాటులోకి వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది. అందుకే పాతబస్తీ మెట్రో పనులను వేగవంతం చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేకంగా దృష్టి సారించింది.

Hyderabad Old City Metro Revanth Reddy Orders Speedy Phase-2 Works, Tenders
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has directed officials to speed up the works related to the Hyderabad Old City Metro and ensure that the proposed MGBS–Chandrayangutta Metro Corridor moves forward without further delay.
The Chief Minister held a review meeting with senior officials at MCRHRD on Tuesday to assess the progress of the Old City Metro Phase-2 project and other major infrastructure and investment initiatives in Telangana.
During the meeting, Revanth Reddy reviewed the proposed Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 works and instructed officials to accelerate all pending activities connected with the Old City Metro project.
7.5-km Road Widening Works to Be Completed Quickly
A major focus of the meeting was the road widening required for the MGBS–Chandrayangutta Metro Corridor. The Chief Minister directed officials to complete the 7.5-km road widening works at the earliest so that the metro project can proceed smoothly.
Officials were also instructed to speed up the pending land acquisition process associated with the Old City Metro works. Revanth Reddy emphasized the need for close coordination between departments to remove bottlenecks and ensure timely execution of the project.
Old City Metro Tenders to Begin Soon
The Chief Minister directed officials to initiate the tender process for the Old City Metro works as soon as possible. He called for a clear action plan to ensure that the Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 project progresses according to schedule.
The Old City Metro is considered an important component of Hyderabad’s expanding public transportation network. Faster execution of the project is expected to improve connectivity to several densely populated areas of the Old City.
Additional Metro Coaches to Meet Rising Demand
Revanth Reddy also reviewed the growing passenger demand on the existing Hyderabad Metro Rail network.
Officials were instructed to explore the purchase of additional metro coaches in line with the increasing passenger traffic. The Chief Minister stressed the need to anticipate future demand and strengthen metro services accordingly.
He further directed officials to seek technical advice from Delhi Metro on the latest technologies and operational practices that could be adopted for Hyderabad Metro.
Focus on Hyderabad Metro Phase 2
The Chief Minister asked officials to give special attention to the implementation of Hyderabad Metro Phase 2 and ensure that different components of the project move forward simultaneously.
The directions cover road widening, land acquisition, tendering and other preparatory works required for the Old City Metro Phase 2 corridor.
The government is looking to accelerate major infrastructure projects in Hyderabad to improve urban mobility and provide better public transportation facilities to the city’s growing population.
Invest Telangana Global Summit in December
The review meeting also focused on the upcoming Invest Telangana Global Summit, which is scheduled to be held in December.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to make comprehensive preparations for the investment summit and conduct it on international standards. The Chief Minister stressed the need to showcase Telangana as an attractive destination for domestic and global investors.
Officials were asked to prepare a detailed strategy to attract more investments to Telangana across various sectors.
Report on Previous Investments Sought
Revanth Reddy instructed officials to submit a comprehensive report on the investments announced during the previous Invest Telangana Summit, including the progress made on the projects.
He sought complete details on the investments received, projects that have progressed and the status of implementation.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the government should focus not only on attracting new investments but also on ensuring that previously announced investments translate into actual projects and employment opportunities.
Global-Standard Investment Summit Planned
The upcoming Invest Telangana Global Summit is being planned on an international scale, with the government aiming to attract prominent investors and companies to the state.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to prepare sector-specific strategies to increase investment inflows into Telangana. He also suggested recognizing and felicitating prominent personalities who have achieved distinction in various fields during the summit.
The government intends to use the global investment summit to highlight Telangana’s infrastructure, industrial ecosystem, business opportunities and investment potential.
