హైదరాబాద్, మార్చి 8:దేశంలో జనాభాలో అధిక శాతం ఉన్న బీసీలకు అసెంబ్లీ, పార్లమెంట్ ఎన్నికలలో చట్టబద్ధంగా 50 శాతం రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించాలని బీసీ జాక్ చైర్మన్, ఎంపీ ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య డిమాండ్ చేశారు. అంతేకాకుండా బీసీల అభివృద్ధి, సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమాల అమలుకు కేంద్రంలో ప్రత్యేక బీసీ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖను తక్షణమే ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని ఆయన కోరారు.

ఆదివారం హైదరాబాద్ బషీర్‌బాగ్‌లోని దేశోద్ధారక భవన్‌లో 14 బీసీ సంఘాలు, విద్యార్థి సంఘాల ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్వహించిన సమావేశంలో ఈనెల 30న నిర్వహించనున్న “చలో ఢిల్లీ” (BC Chalo Delhi program)కార్యక్రమానికి సంబంధించిన వాల్ పోస్టర్‌ను ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య ఆవిష్కరించారు. జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం (Gujja Sathyam) సభకు అధ్యక్షత వహించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ దేశానికి స్వాతంత్య్రం వచ్చి 78 సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తయినా, దేశ జనాభాలో దాదాపు 80 శాతం ఉన్న ఓబీసీలు విద్యా, ఉద్యోగ, రాజకీయ, ఆర్థిక రంగాల్లో తీవ్ర అన్యాయానికి గురవుతున్నారని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సామాజిక న్యాయం పేరుతో అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన పలు ప్రభుత్వాలు బీసీలకు న్యాయం చేయడంలో విఫలమయ్యాయని విమర్శించారు.

దేశాన్ని దశాబ్దాల పాటు పాలించిన కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కులగణన చేపట్టకపోవడం వల్ల బీసీల అసలు స్థితిగతులు బయటకు రాలేదని, బీసీలను కేవలం ఓటు బ్యాంక్‌గా ఉపయోగించుకున్నదే తప్పా రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించే దిశగా ఎలాంటి చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోలేదని ఆయన విమర్శించారు.

ఇటీవల జరిగిన ఎన్నికల సమయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ నాయకులు “ఎవరి వాటా వారికి” అనే నినాదంతో ప్రజలను ఆకర్షించారని, కానీ అధికారంలోకి వచ్చిన తర్వాత కులగణన, బీసీ బిల్లు వంటి కీలక అంశాలపై ఇప్పటివరకు స్పష్టమైన నిర్ణయం ప్రకటించలేదని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా తెలంగాణలో కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ ఎన్నికల సమయంలో ప్రకటించిన 42 శాతం బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల హామీ ఇప్పటివరకు అమలు కాలేదని, ఇది బీసీలకు జరిగిన నయవంచన అని ఆయన విమర్శించారు.

ఇండియా కూటమి నాయకత్వం వహిస్తున్న రాహుల్ గాంధీ పార్లమెంట్‌లో ప్రైవేట్ బీసీ బిల్లు ప్రవేశపెట్టి, బీసీలకు రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించే దిశగా చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు చేపట్టాలని ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య డిమాండ్ చేశారు. భవిష్యత్తులో బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లను వ్యతిరేకించే రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు ప్రజాస్వామ్య పద్ధతుల్లో గట్టి సమాధానం ఇస్తామని ఆయన హెచ్చరించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా సభకు అధ్యక్షత వహించిన జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ దేశంలో బీసీలకు రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్యం అత్యంత కీలకమైన అంశమని అన్నారు. జనాభాలో అధిక శాతం ఉన్నప్పటికీ చట్టసభల్లో బీసీలకు తగిన ప్రాతినిధ్యం లేకపోవడం ప్రజాస్వామ్యానికి అన్యాయం అని పేర్కొన్నారు.

బీసీల సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బీసీ సంఘాలు, విద్యార్థి సంఘాలు, సామాజిక సంస్థలను ఒకే వేదికపైకి తీసుకువస్తున్నామని, అందులో భాగంగానే ఈనెల 30న నిర్వహించే చలో ఢిల్లీ కార్యక్రమం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బీసీల స్వరాన్ని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి వినిపించే చారిత్రాత్మక కార్యక్రమంగా నిలుస్తుందని గుజ్జ సత్యం తెలిపారు.

కేంద్రంలో ప్రత్యేక బీసీ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఏర్పాటు, దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సమగ్ర కులగణన, చట్టసభల్లో బీసీలకు రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు, విద్యా–ఉద్యోగ రంగాల్లో బీసీలకు మరింత అవకాశాలు కల్పించడం వంటి డిమాండ్ల సాధనకోసం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బీసీ ఉద్యమాన్ని మరింత బలంగా తీసుకెళ్తామని ఆయన తెలిపారు.

ఈ సమావేశంలో బీసీ నాయకులు సి. రాజేందర్, అనంతయ్య, బీసీ విద్యార్థి సంఘం రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు పగిళ్ల సతీష్, ఇతర విద్యార్థి సంఘాల నాయకులు, బీసీ సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

BC Leaders Demand 50% Political Reservations for OBCs; R Krishnaiah Calls for BC Welfare Ministry

In a major development in the BC rights movement India, BC JAC Chairman R Krishnaiah demanded that the Central Government provide BC political reservations 50 percent in Assembly and Parliament elections for Backward Classes. He stated that the OBC population political representation must reflect their share in the country’s population.

Speaking at a BC leaders meeting Hyderabad held at Deshoddharaka Bhavan in Bashirbagh BC meeting Hyderabad, Krishnaiah emphasized the need for BC Reservations in India to ensure social justice and equal political participation. The meeting was organized by 14 BC organizations and BC student organizations protest groups, who also unveiled the wall poster for the upcoming BC Chalo Delhi program scheduled for the 30th of this month.

The meeting was presided over by National BC Welfare Association National Vice President Gujja Satyam.

Demand for 50% Political Reservations

During the meeting, R Krishnaiah demand BC reservations stating that despite 78 years of independence, OBCs—who constitute nearly 80% of the population—continue to face discrimination in education, employment, political representation, and economic opportunities.

He said the demand for OBC political reservation demand is essential to ensure fair BC representation in parliament and state legislatures. Criticism of Political Parties

Several BC leaders and representatives attended the meeting including C. Rajender, Ananthayya, BC student leader Pagilla Satish, and representatives from various BC student organizations protest groups.
