తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధికి కేంద్రం అడ్డంకులు మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ ఫైర్
సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విదేశీ పర్యటనకు అనుమతి నిరాకరణపై తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం.. తెలంగాణకు రావాల్సిన నిధులపై కేంద్రాన్ని నిలదీసిన మంత్రి
సిద్దిపేట: తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధికి కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అడ్డంకులు సృష్టిస్తోందని బీసీ సంక్షేమ, రవాణా శాఖ మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ తీవ్ర స్థాయిలో మండిపడ్డారు. రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి, పెట్టుబడుల కోసం ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి విదేశీ పర్యటనకు వెళ్లేందుకు ప్రయత్నిస్తే కేంద్రం అనుమతి నిరాకరించడం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వ నిరంకుశ వైఖరికి నిదర్శనమని ఆయన ఆరోపించారు. తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి విషయంలో కేంద్రం అనుసరిస్తున్న తీరుపై మంత్రి తీవ్ర అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం – తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం మధ్య నిధులు, అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు, అనుమతుల విషయంలో వివక్ష చూపుతున్నారనే అంశాన్ని మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ ప్రధానంగా ప్రస్తావించారు. తెలంగాణకు న్యాయంగా రావాల్సిన కేంద్ర నిధులు, ఆర్థిక సహాయం, అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు విషయంలో కేంద్రం సానుకూలంగా వ్యవహరించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
‘వికసిత్ భారత్-2047’ సాధించాలంటే తెలంగాణ కూడా అభివృద్ధి చెందాలి
సిద్దిపేట జిల్లా అక్కన్నపేట మండలంలో ‘పల్లె పల్లెకు పొన్నం అన్న–పల్లె పల్లెలో ప్రజా పాలన’ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ పర్యటించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా గ్రామాల్లో ప్రజలతో ముఖాముఖి సమావేశాలు నిర్వహించి స్థానిక సమస్యలను అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు.
ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ ప్రకటించిన ‘వికసిత్ భారత్-2047’ లక్ష్యం సాధించాలంటే దేశంలోని ప్రతి రాష్ట్రం అభివృద్ధి చెందాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి చెందకుండా వికసిత్ భారత్ లక్ష్యం ఎలా సాధ్యమవుతుందని ప్రశ్నించారు.
తెలంగాణకు రావాల్సిన కేంద్ర నిధులు, ఆర్థిక సహకారం, అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు మంజూరు చేయడంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా వ్యవహరించాలని పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ కోరారు.
తెలంగాణ బీజేపీ నాయకత్వానికి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ సూటి ప్రశ్నలు
ఎన్డీయే ప్రభుత్వం నుంచి తెలంగాణకు రావాల్సిన నిధులు, ప్రాజెక్టుల కోసం రాష్ట్ర బీజేపీ నాయకులు ఎందుకు గళమెత్తడం లేదని మంత్రి పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ ప్రశ్నించారు. ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలకు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిధులు, ప్రాజెక్టులు కేటాయిస్తున్నప్పుడు తెలంగాణకు నిధులు ఎందుకు ఇవ్వడం లేదో రాష్ట్ర బీజేపీ నాయకత్వం సమాధానం చెప్పాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
“తెలంగాణ ప్రయోజనాల కోసం కేంద్రంతో కలిసి పనిచేయడానికి రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం సిద్ధంగా ఉంది. రాజకీయాలకు అతీతంగా రాష్ట్ర అభివృద్ధి కోసం సహకరించేందుకు మేము సిద్ధం. కేంద్రం కూడా అదే విధంగా తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధికి సహకరించాలి” అని మంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు.
గ్రామాల్లో ప్రజా సమస్యల పరిష్కారమే లక్ష్యం
నియోజకవర్గ అభివృద్ధిని వేగవంతం చేయడంతో పాటు ప్రజల సమస్యలను నేరుగా తెలుసుకుని పరిష్కరించేందుకు ‘పల్లె పల్లెకు పొన్నం అన్న–పల్లె పల్లెలో ప్రజా పాలన’ కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపట్టినట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు.
ప్రతి గ్రామంలో ప్రజలతో ప్రత్యక్షంగా సమావేశమై వారి సమస్యలను తెలుసుకుంటున్నామని, అధికారుల దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లి సాధ్యమైనంత త్వరగా పరిష్కరించేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకుంటున్నామని పొన్నం ప్రభాకర్ వెల్లడించారు.
గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాల అభివృద్ధి, మౌలిక వసతుల కల్పన, ప్రజా సమస్యల పరిష్కారం, సంక్షేమ పథకాల అమలుపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారిస్తున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.

Minister Questions Centre’s Stand on Revanth Reddy’s Foreign Visit, Demands Fair Share of Funds and Projects for Telangana
Siddipet: Telangana BC Welfare and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar has launched a strong attack on the Central Government, accusing it of creating obstacles to the development of Telangana. He alleged that denying permission for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s foreign visit for the state’s development was an example of the Centre’s “authoritarian approach.”
Speaking during the ‘Palle Palleku Ponnam Anna – Palle Pallalo Praja Palana’ programme in Akkannapet mandal of Siddipet district, Ponnam Prabhakar questioned the Centre’s approach towards Telangana and demanded that the Telangana BJP leadership explain why the state was not receiving its rightful share of central funds and development projects.
Ponnam Prabhakar Questions Centre Over Telangana Funds
Ponnam Prabhakar said Telangana should receive fair financial assistance and central funding for its development. He questioned why the NDA government was allegedly extending financial support and projects to neighbouring states while Telangana was not receiving adequate assistance.
The minister directly questioned Telangana BJP leaders over their silence on the issue.
“Why are Telangana BJP leaders not raising their voice with the NDA government for the funds and projects due to Telangana?” he asked.
According to Ponnam Prabhakar, the development of Telangana is closely linked to the overall development of India. He said the Centre should adopt a positive approach towards Telangana and ensure that the state receives its legitimate financial support.
‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ Requires Development of Every State
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision, Ponnam Prabhakar said the goal of transforming India into a developed nation cannot be achieved unless every state progresses equally.
He argued that Telangana’s development should not become a political issue and urged the Central Government to work with the state government in the larger interest of the people.
The minister also appealed to the Centre to cooperate with Telangana on development initiatives, infrastructure projects and financial assistance.
Revanth Reddy Foreign Visit Becomes Political Flashpoint
Ponnam Prabhakar also strongly criticised the reported denial of permission for Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s foreign visit.
He said the Chief Minister’s foreign visits are aimed at attracting investments and promoting Telangana’s development. According to the minister, preventing the Chief Minister from undertaking such a visit would adversely affect the state’s efforts to attract investments and strengthen its economic growth.
Ponnam Prabhakar described the decision as evidence of the Centre’s “authoritarianism” and demanded an explanation from the BJP leadership in Telangana.
Ready to Work With Centre Beyond Politics
The minister made it clear that the Telangana government is ready to work with the Central Government without political differences whenever the interests of the state are involved.
Ponnam Prabhakar said the state government is prepared to cooperate with the Centre for Telangana’s development and expects the Central Government to adopt the same approach.
He stressed that political differences should not come in the way of development, funding and welfare of the people of Telangana.
‘Palle Palleku Ponnam Anna’ Focuses on Grassroots Issues
The minister was speaking during his ‘Palle Palleku Ponnam Anna – Palle Pallalo Praja Palana’ programme, launched with the objective of taking governance closer to people and addressing constituency-level development issues.
As part of the programme, Ponnam Prabhakar is visiting villages and interacting directly with residents to understand their problems.
The minister said these face-to-face meetings are helping the government identify local issues and work towards their resolution. He emphasised that people’s concerns should be addressed at the grassroots level through direct interaction and responsive governance.
Telangana Development, Central Funds Remain Key Political Issue
The latest remarks by Ponnam Prabhakar are likely to intensify the political debate between the Congress government in Telangana and the BJP-led Central Government over Telangana development, central funds, development projects and political cooperation.
The minister’s demand for greater central assistance comes amid continued political discussions over Telangana’s financial requirements and its share of central resources.
Ponnam Prabhakar reiterated that the state government would continue to raise its voice for the interests of Telangana while remaining willing to cooperate with the Centre on development-related matters.
