మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే జయంతి సందర్భంగా బండి సంజయ్ నివాళులు.. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వంపై ఘాటు విమర్శలు
ప్రముఖ సామాజిక సంస్కర్త, ఉద్యమకారుడు మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే ద్విశతాబ్ది జయంతి సందర్భంగా కేంద్ర హోంశాఖ సహాయ మంత్రి బండి సంజయ్ కుమార్ ఘనంగా నివాళులు అర్పించారు. మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే జయంతి, జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే సేవలు, సామాజిక సంస్కర్త ఫూలే చరిత్ర వంటి అంశాలను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ ఆయన గొప్పతనాన్ని కొనియాడారు.
బండి సంజయ్ మాట్లాడుతూ… మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే అణచివేతకు వ్యతిరేకంగా పోరాడిన మహనీయుడని, బడుగు బలహీన వర్గాలకు ధైర్యం ఇచ్చిన మహోన్నత నాయకుడని తెలిపారు. సమాజం అభివృద్ధి చెందాలంటే విద్య, ఆర్థిక స్థిరత్వం కీలకమని ముందుగానే గుర్తించి, ఆ దిశగా నిరంతరం కృషి చేసిన వ్యక్తి జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే చరిత్ర, ఫూలే సంస్కరణలు, సమాజంలో సమానత్వం కోసం పోరాటం వంటి అంశాలను వివరించిన బండి సంజయ్… కుల వివక్షకు వ్యతిరేకంగా ఆయన చేసిన పోరాటం చిరస్మరణీయమని అన్నారు. అలాగే వితంతు పునర్వివాహాలు, బాల్యవివాహాల నిర్మూలన కోసం ఆయన చేసిన కృషి విశేషమని గుర్తుచేశారు. మహిళల విద్య కోసం పాటుపడిన తొలి సంస్కర్తల్లో మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే ఒకరని తెలిపారు.
అట్టడుగు వర్గాల కోసం ఫూలే కృషి
మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే సేవలు, పేదల కోసం ఫూలే చేసిన కృషి గురించి మాట్లాడుతూ… “దీనబంధు” పత్రికను స్థాపించి కార్మికులు, పేదల సమస్యలను సమాజానికి తెలియజేసిన వ్యక్తి ఫూలే అని చెప్పారు. అట్టడుగు వర్గాల్లో విజ్ఞానం నింపడానికి తన జీవితాన్ని అంకితం చేసిన మహానుభావుడు అని కొనియాడారు.
భారత రాజ్యాంగ నిర్మాత డాక్టర్ బీఆర్ అంబేద్కర్ కూడా ఫూలేను గురువుగా భావించారని గుర్తుచేశారు. తన సతీమణి సావిత్రీబాయి ఫూలేతో కలిసి 52 పాఠశాలలు ప్రారంభించి వేలాది మంది పేదలకు విద్య అందించిన గొప్ప సంస్కర్తగా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే నిలిచారని తెలిపారు.
తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాలపై విమర్శలు
ఈ సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాలు, కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం తెలంగాణ, రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం పనితీరు వంటి అంశాలపై కూడా బండి సంజయ్ స్పందించారు. రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నేతృత్వంలోని కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే ఆశయాలుకు విరుద్ధంగా పాలన సాగిస్తోందని విమర్శించారు.
తెలంగాణలో అక్షరాస్యత జాతీయ సగటు కంటే వెనుకబడి ఉందని, ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిల వల్ల పేద, మధ్యతరగతి విద్యార్థులు ఉన్నత విద్యకు దూరమవుతున్నారని అన్నారు. అలాగే ఆరోగ్యశ్రీ బకాయిలు చెల్లించకపోవడంతో పేదలకు వైద్యం అందని పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడిందని ఆరోపించారు.
ప్రభుత్వ భూములను విక్రయిస్తూ భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు నష్టం చేస్తున్నారని వ్యాఖ్యానిస్తూ… ఇకనైనా ప్రభుత్వం మహాత్మా జ్యోతిరావు ఫూలే ఆశయాలును అమలు చేయాలని బండి సంజయ్ డిమాండ్ చేశారు

Jyotirao Phule Jayanti Bandi Sanjay Pays Tribute, Slams Telangana Congress Government
On the occasion of Jyotirao Phule Jayanti, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar paid rich tributes to Mahatma Jyotirao Phule, calling him a symbol of resistance against oppression and a beacon of hope for marginalized communities. Highlighting Jyotirao Phule Jayanti, Jyotirao Phule contributions, and Mahatma Phule reforms, he said Phule dedicated his life to social equality and empowerment.
Bandi Sanjay stated that Mahatma Jyotirao Phule believed education and economic progress are the foundations of a developed society. He emphasized that Jyotirao Phule contributions to education, women empowerment by Phule, and social reform movement in India remain highly relevant even today. He praised Phule’s relentless fight against caste discrimination and his efforts to promote widow remarriage and oppose child marriage.
He further noted that Jyotirao Phule Jayanti is a reminder of Phule’s vision for an equal society. Phule, along with his wife Savitribai Phule, started the education movement and established 52 schools, ensuring access to education for thousands of underprivileged children. Bandi Sanjay highlighted that women education by Jyotirao Phule and education reforms by Phule transformed Indian society.
Referring to Phule’s initiatives for the poor, he mentioned the launch of the “Deenbandhu” publication to highlight the issues of workers and marginalized communities. He added that B. R. Ambedkar considered Phule his guru, which reflects the greatness of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule contributions and his influence on modern India.
Criticism of Telangana Congress Government
Targeting the Telangana Congress government, Bandi Sanjay alleged that the administration led by Revanth Reddy is functioning against the ideals of Jyotirao Phule Jayanti spirit and Phule’s vision of equality. He said the state is lagging behind the national average in literacy, raising concerns about the education system in Telangana.
He also pointed out that pending fee reimbursement issues in Telangana are preventing lakhs of poor and middle-class students from pursuing higher education. Additionally, delays in Aarogyasri scheme payments have created difficulties for patients seeking treatment in private hospitals.
Bandi Sanjay further criticized the government for selling public lands, stating that such actions would harm future generations. He urged the government to implement Jyotirao Phule ideals, Phule social justice vision, and education reforms inspired by Phule in action rather than limiting them to words.
