జనగణనలో కులగణన చేయాలన్న సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పుపై కాంగ్రెస్ హర్షం
జనగణనలో కులగణన చేపట్టాలన్న సుప్రీంకోర్టు తీర్పుపై కాంగ్రెస్ హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. సుప్రీం కోర్టు తీర్పును టీపీసీసీ చీఫ్ మహేశ్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ స్వాగతించారు. సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక అసమానతలను సరిచేయడానికి కులగణన అత్యంత అవసరమని చెప్పుకొచ్చారు. కులగణన చేయాలని కాంగ్రెస్ ఎప్పటి నుంచో డిమాండ్ చేస్తోందన్నారు. రాహుల్ గాంధీ ‘భారత్ జోడో యాత్ర’ సందర్భంగా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కులగణన అవసరాన్ని ప్రజల్లోకి తీసుకెళ్లారని తెలిపారు. సామాజిక న్యాయ సాధనకు కులగణన కీలకమన్నారు. వెనుకబడిన వర్గాలకు వారి జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికన న్యాయం జరగాలంటే సమగ్ర కులగణన తప్పనిసరి అని స్పష్టం చేశారు. తెలంగాణలో ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నాయకత్వంలో మంత్రులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధుల సమన్వయంతో చేపట్టిన కుల సర్వే విజయవంతమైందని మహేశ్ కుమార్ గౌడ్ పేర్కొన్నారు.జనగణనలో కులగణన చేయాలన్న సుప్రీం తీర్పును స్వాగతిస్తున్నామని ప్రభుత్వ సలహాదారు వీ.హనుమంతరావు అన్నారు. సుప్రీం కోర్టు తీర్పు చరిత్రాత్మకమైనదన్నారు. న్యాయవ్యవస్థకు ధన్యవాదాలు తెలియజేశారు. 60 కోట్ల ప్రజలకు న్యాయం చేసిన జస్టిస్ సూర్యకాంత్కు రుణపడి ఉంటామని తెలిపారు. కులగణన చేయాలని రాహుల్ గాంధీ ఆలోచన చేశారని.. రేవంత్ ప్రభుత్వం కులగణన చేసిందని తెలిపారు. బీసీలు ఎదగడం మోదీ ప్రభుత్వానికి ఇష్టం ఉండదని వీహెచ్ విమర్శించారు.

Congress Welcomes Supreme Court Verdict on Caste Census
The Congress party has welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict supporting the inclusion of caste-based enumeration in the national census. TPCC Chief Mahesh Kumar Goud praised the judgment, stating that a caste census is essential to address social and economic inequalities in the country.
He said the Congress party has been demanding a caste census for a long time and noted that Rahul Gandhi had strongly advocated for it during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, taking the issue to people across the nation. According to him, caste enumeration is crucial for achieving social justice and ensuring fair representation and benefits to backward communities based on their population.
Mahesh Kumar Goud also highlighted that the caste survey conducted in Telangana under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, with the coordination of ministers and public representatives, was carried out successfully.
Government advisor V. Hanumantha Rao also welcomed the Supreme Court’s decision, calling it historic. He thanked the judiciary and said Justice Surya Kant had delivered justice to nearly 60 crore people. He credited Rahul Gandhi for envisioning the caste census and stated that the Revanth Reddy government had already implemented a caste survey in Telangana.
V. Hanumantha Rao further criticized the Modi government, alleging that it does not want the backward classes (BCs) to progress.
