హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో పెండింగ్‌లో ఉన్న విద్యార్థుల ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలను వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని, వివాదాస్పదంగా మారిన జీవో నెంబర్–7ను రద్దు చేయాలని జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం (గుజ్జ సత్యం) ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఈ మేరకు తెలంగాణ బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ గౌరవ సలహాదారు హనుమంతరావు గారిని కలిసి బీసీ వర్గాలకు సంబంధించిన పలు కీలక అంశాలపై సమగ్ర నివేదిక సమర్పించినట్లు తెలిపారు.

అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రంలో వేలాది మంది బీసీ, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మైనారిటీ విద్యార్థులు ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిల కారణంగా తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. విద్యార్థులు, వారి కుటుంబాలు ఆర్థిక భారం మోయలేక ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారని, ప్రభుత్వ నిధుల విడుదలలో ఆలస్యం వల్ల విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తు ప్రమాదంలో పడుతోందని పేర్కొన్నారు.

ఇటీవలి కాలంలో పలు విద్యాసంస్థలు బకాయిల పేరుతో విద్యార్థుల సర్టిఫికెట్లు నిలిపివేయడం, హాల్ టికెట్ల జారీ, విద్యా సేవల్లో ఆటంకాలు సృష్టించడం వంటి ఘటనలు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారాయని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ ఆలస్యం విద్యార్థుల విద్యా ప్రయాణంపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం చూపుతోందని అన్నారు.

“ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ అనేది కేవలం సంక్షేమ పథకం కాదు.. అది విద్యా హక్కు, సామాజిక న్యాయానికి సంబంధించిన అంశం” అని గుజ్జ సత్యం వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. పేద, వెనుకబడిన వర్గాలకు చెందిన విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తును కాపాడాల్సిన బాధ్యత ప్రభుత్వంపై ఉందన్నారు.

అదే విధంగా జీవో నెంబర్–7పై కూడా పలు బీసీ సంఘాలు తీవ్ర అభ్యంతరాలు వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాయని, ఈ జీవో వల్ల బీసీ వర్గాల ప్రయోజనాలు దెబ్బతింటున్నాయని ఆరోపించారు. ఈ జీవోను తక్షణమే రద్దు చేసి, బీసీ వర్గాలకు న్యాయం చేయాలని కోరారు.

ఈ అంశాలపై స్పందించిన తెలంగాణ బీసీ సంక్షేమ శాఖ గౌరవ సలహాదారు హనుమంతరావు గారు, సమస్య తీవ్రతను అర్థం చేసుకున్నామని పేర్కొంటూ, అత్యవసరంగా ముఖ్యమంత్రి గారిని, అలాగే ఆర్థిక శాఖ మంత్రి బట్టి విక్రమార్క గారిని కలిసి ఈ అంశంపై చర్చించి పరిష్కారానికి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటానని హామీ ఇచ్చినట్లు గుజ్జ సత్యం తెలిపారు. ఈ హామీతో విద్యార్థులు, బీసీ వర్గాల్లో ఆశలు పెరిగాయని అన్నారు.

అలాగే బీసీ విద్యార్థులకు ప్రత్యేక హాస్టల్ వసతులు, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు, ఉపాధి అవకాశాల విస్తరణ, విద్యా సహాయ పథకాల బలోపేతం వంటి అంశాలపై కూడా వినతిపత్రం సమర్పించినట్లు తెలిపారు.

ఈ సమావేశంలో పాల్గొన్న ప్రతినిధుల బృందంలో బీసీ జేఏసీ మహిళా నాయకురాలు మట్టా జయంతి గౌడ్, కామారెడ్డి జిల్లా బీసీ సంఘం అధ్యక్షుడు శంకరయ్య, గంగపుత్ర సంఘం రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు అశోక్, నవీన్, ఇతర బీసీ నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

చివరగా గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, “విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తు రాజకీయాలకు అతీతం. ప్రభుత్వం వెంటనే స్పందించి పెండింగ్ ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలను విడుదల చేయాలి. బీసీ వర్గాల హక్కులకు భంగం కలిగించే నిర్ణయాలను వెనక్కి తీసుకోవాలి” అని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా విద్యార్థి సంఘాలు, బీసీ వర్గాల్లో ఈ అంశం మరింత చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారే అవకాశాలు కనిపిస్తున్నాయని రాజకీయ పరిశీలకులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.

Gujja Sathyam-Led BC Delegation Demands Release of Fee Reimbursement Dues, Seeks Withdrawal of GO No. 7

HYDERABAD, May 26: A delegation of Backward Classes (BC) leaders led by Gujja Sathyam, National Vice President of the National BC Welfare Association, met Telangana BC Welfare Department Honorary Advisor Hanumantha Rao and submitted a memorandum seeking the immediate release of pending student fee reimbursement dues and the withdrawal of GO No. 7, citing concerns over its impact on BC communities.

Addressing the media after the meeting, Gujja Sathyam said delays in fee reimbursement payments were placing thousands of students from BC, SC, ST and minority communities under severe financial and academic pressure. He stated that continued delays in fund disbursement were affecting students’ educational continuity and creating uncertainty regarding their future.

Sathyam observed that students and families from economically weaker sections were increasingly struggling with rising educational expenses. He also alleged that delays in reimbursement payments had led to hardships in educational institutions, including administrative and academic difficulties faced by students.

Describing the issue as one extending beyond a routine welfare measure, Sathyam said student fee reimbursement represented an important instrument of educational equity and social justice. He urged the government to address the issue on priority and restore a transparent and time-bound mechanism for releasing dues.

The delegation also raised objections to GO No. 7, stating that several BC organizations had expressed concerns over its implications and sought its immediate withdrawal. The representatives argued that policies affecting backward communities should undergo wider consultation and review.

The memorandum further included demands for strengthening welfare initiatives such as hostel facilities, educational assistance, skill development programmes and expanded employment opportunities for youth from backward communities.

Responding to the concerns, Hanumantha Rao reportedly assured the delegation that he would take up the matter at the highest level and discuss it with the Chief Minister as well as Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister బట్టి విక్రమార్క at the earliest. According to the delegation, he assured them that efforts would be made to find an appropriate resolution to the issues raised.

The delegation included BC JAC women leader Matta Jayanthi Goud, Kamareddy District BC Association President Shankarayya, Gangaputra Association state leaders Ashok and Naveen, along with other BC representatives.

Gujja Sathyam reiterated that issues concerning students and backward communities should be treated as matters of public welfare and social responsibility, calling for prompt action from the government on the demands raised.
