తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించిన బండి భగీరథ్
కేంద్ర మంత్రి బండి సంజయ్ కుమార్ కుమారుడు బండి భగీరథ్ తెలంగాణ హైకోర్టును ఆశ్రయించారు. తనపై నమోదైన పోక్సో కేసులో మధ్యంతర బెయిల్ ఇవ్వాలని, అలాగే కేసును కొట్టివేయాలని కోరుతూ పిటిషన్ దాఖలు చేసినట్లు సమాచారం.
ఈ కేసు హైదరాబాద్లోని పేట్ బషీరాబాద్ పోలీస్ స్టేషన్లో నమోదైంది. మైనర్ బాలిక ఫిర్యాదు ఆధారంగా పోలీసులు పోక్సో చట్టం కింద కేసు నమోదు చేశారు.
ప్రస్తుతం హైకోర్టుకు వేసవి సెలవులు ఉండటంతో, ఈ పిటిషన్ను వెకేషన్ బెంచ్ విచారించే అవకాశం ఉంది. మే 14న విచారణ జరగవచ్చని వార్తలు పేర్కొన్నాయి.
ఇదిలా ఉండగా, బండి భగీరథ్ ఇప్పటికే తాము హనీట్రాప్కు గురయ్యామని కరీంనగర్ పోలీసులకు ఫిర్యాదు చేసినట్లు సమాచారం. మరోవైపు, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ఈ కేసుపై సిట్ను ఏర్పాటు చేసి దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తోంది.

Bandi Bhagirath Approaches Telangana High Court in POCSO Case
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar’s son, Bandi Bhagirath, has approached the Telangana High Court. Reports suggest that he filed a petition seeking interim bail and also requested the court to quash the POCSO case registered against him.
The case was registered at Pet Basheerabad Police Station in Hyderabad. Police booked the case under the POCSO Act based on a complaint filed by a minor girl.
As the High Court is currently on summer vacation, the petition is likely to be heard by the vacation bench. Reports indicate that the hearing may take place on May 14.
Meanwhile, Bandi Bhagirath had earlier lodged a complaint with Karimnagar police alleging that he was trapped in a honey-trap scheme. On the other hand, the Telangana government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to continue the investigation into the case.
