ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజకీయాల్లో మళ్లీ మత మార్పిడి (Religious Conversion) అంశం హాట్ టాపిక్గా మారింది. ఏపీ డిప్యూటీ స్పీకర్ రఘురామకృష్ణంరాజు మత మార్పిడి పై తీవ్ర ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేస్తూ, ప్రజలను తప్పుదోవ పట్టిస్తున్న వారిపై కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని హెచ్చరించారు.
సోమవారం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన ఆయన, మత మార్పిడి జరిగితే 5 సంవత్సరాల జైలు శిక్ష తప్పదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. భారత రాజ్యాంగంలోని ఆర్టికల్ 25 (Article 25) ప్రతి వ్యక్తికి తన మతాన్ని అనుసరించే స్వేచ్ఛ ఇస్తుందని, కానీ ఇతరులను మోసం చేసి మత మార్పిడి చేయడం చట్టవిరుద్ధమని అన్నారు.
మత మార్పిడి పై రఘురామ ఘాటు వ్యాఖ్యలు
రఘురామకృష్ణంరాజు మాట్లాడుతూ:
- మత స్వేచ్ఛ (Religious Freedom) అంటే మత మార్పిడి ప్రోత్సహించడం కాదన్నారు
- హిందూ దళితులను మోసం చేసి మత మార్పిడి (Conversion in AP) చేయొద్దని విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు
- క్రిస్టియన్లకు ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ కేసులు పెట్టే హక్కు లేదని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు
ఆకివీడు ఘటనపై ఆరోపణలు
గత నెలలో పశ్చిమ గోదావరి జిల్లా ఆకివీడులో జరిగిన ఘటనను కూడా ఆయన ప్రస్తావించారు.
శ్రీరామనవమి పూజలు నిర్వహించేందుకు వెళ్లిన సమయంలో తనపై, జనసేన నాయకులపై దాడి జరిగిందని ఆరోపించారు.
- కత్తులు, మేకులతో దాడి చేశారని తెలిపారు
- దళితుల ముసుగులో క్రైస్తవులు దాడి చేశారని ఆరోపించారు
- హిందూ దేవాలయాలు (Hindu Temples AP) సందర్శించడానికే అడ్డంకులు ఎదురవుతున్నాయని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు
ఆకివీడు రామాలయం పునర్నిర్మాణం
మార్చి 29న తన సోషల్ మీడియా (X)లో రఘురామకృష్ణంరాజు చేసిన పోస్టు కూడా వైరల్ అయింది.
ఆ పోస్టులో ఆయన:
- ఆకివీడు పెదపేటలోని పురాతన రామాలయం (Ancient Ramalayam) పునర్నిర్మాణం చేపడుతున్నామని తెలిపారు
- ప్రముఖ హిందూ సంస్థల ఆధ్వర్యంలో నిర్మాణం జరుగుతుందని చెప్పారు
- డా. ఈమని శివనాగిరెడ్డి నేతృత్వంలో శిల్పకళ, వాస్తు, ఆగమ శాస్త్రం ప్రకారం నిర్మాణం జరుగుతుందని వెల్లడించారు
800 ఏళ్లు నిలిచే రామాలయం
ఈ రామాలయాన్ని:
- పూర్తిగా **కృష్ణ శిల (Black Stone Temple Construction)**తో నిర్మించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు
- కనీసం 800 సంవత్సరాలు చెక్కుచెదరకుండా నిలిచేలా రూపకల్పన చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు

AP Religious Conversion Row Raghurama Krishnam Raju Warns 5-Year Jail
The AP Religious Conversion issue has intensified after Andhra Pradesh Deputy Speaker Raghurama Krishnam Raju made strong remarks on religious conversion in Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that some groups are misleading people in the name of religious conversion and warned of strict legal consequences.
Speaking to the media on Monday, Raghurama Krishnam Raju stated that religious conversion could lead to a 5-year jail term, emphasizing that forced or misleading religious conversion in AP is punishable under the law.
Referring to the Article 25 of the Indian Constitution, he said it guarantees religious freedom in India, allowing individuals to practice and follow any religion. However, he clarified that Article 25 does not permit forced religious conversion or manipulation of faith.
He urged people not to mislead Hindu Dalits in the name of religious conversion, and also made controversial remarks stating that Christians do not have the right to file SC/ST cases.
Akividu Incident and Temple Access Issue
The AP Religious Conversion controversy also connects to the recent Akividu incident in West Godavari district, where tensions escalated.
Raghurama Krishnam Raju alleged that:
- He and Janasena leaders were attacked with knives and sticks
- The attack took place when they visited a temple for Sri Rama Navami celebrations
- He claimed that individuals disguised as Dalits but belonging to other religions carried out the attack
He expressed concern that Hindus are facing restrictions in visiting Hindu temples in Andhra Pradesh, saying they are unable to freely offer prayers without permission from others.
Akividu Ramalayam Reconstruction Plan
Amid the AP Religious Conversion debate, Raghurama Krishnam Raju also shared plans for temple development.
On March 29, he posted on social media (X) about the Akividu Ramalayam reconstruction in Pedapeta, West Godavari.
According to his post:
- The ancient Ramalayam temple will be rebuilt under leading Hindu organizations
- The project will be led by renowned temple architect Dr. Imani Sivanagireddy
- Construction will follow Shilpa Shastra, Vastu Shastra, and Agama Shastra principles
He stated that the temple will be constructed entirely using black stone (Krishna Shila temple construction) and designed to last for at least 800 years, making it a major spiritual and architectural landmark.
