లోక్సభలో మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లు వివాదం ప్రతిపక్షాలపై డీకే అరుణ తీవ్ర విమర్శలు
లోక్సభలో మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లు పై దేశవ్యాప్తంగా రాజకీయ వేడి కొనసాగుతోంది. ఇటీవల ఈ మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లు (Women Reservation Bill) ఆమోదం పొందకపోవడం పై అధికార ఎన్డీయే (NDA) పార్టీలు, ప్రతిపక్షాల మధ్య తీవ్ర వాగ్వాదం జరుగుతోంది. ముఖ్యంగా 33 శాతం మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ అంశం దేశ రాజకీయాల్లో కీలక చర్చగా మారింది.
బీజేపీ ఎంపీ, మాజీ మంత్రి డీకే అరుణ ప్రతిపక్షాలపై తీవ్ర విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు. ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ… ప్రతిపక్ష పార్టీలకు మహిళల సాధికారత అంటే ఇష్టం లేదని, అందుకే మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లును అడ్డుకున్నారని ఆరోపించారు. చట్టసభల్లో మహిళలకు 33% మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ కల్పించకుండా కుట్రపూరితంగా వ్యవహరించారని ఆమె విమర్శించారు.
ఇంకా ఆమె మాట్లాడుతూ… దేశాన్ని ఉత్తర భారతదేశం, దక్షిణ భారతదేశంగా విభజించే ప్రయత్నాలు జరుగుతున్నాయని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కాంగ్రెస్ అగ్రనేత రాహుల్ గాంధీ పార్లమెంటులో హుందాగా ప్రవర్తించలేదని, మహిళల రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లు వల్ల ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీకి మంచి పేరు వస్తుందనే ఉద్దేశంతో ప్రతిపక్షాలు అడ్డుకున్నాయని ఆరోపించారు.
రాష్ట్ర రాజకీయాలపై కూడా డీకే అరుణ ఘాటు వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. తెలంగాణలో కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం మహిళలకు ఇచ్చిన హామీలను నిలబెట్టుకోలేకపోయిందని, మహిళలను అవమానపరిచిందని విమర్శించారు. రాబోయే ఎన్నికల్లో మహిళలు కాంగ్రెస్కు తగిన సమాధానం ఇస్తారని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అలాగే సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ప్రస్తావించిన డీలిమిటేషన్ అంశంపై కూడా ఆమె స్పందించారు. జీడీపీ ఆధారంగా డీలిమిటేషన్ చేయాలన్న వ్యాఖ్యల వెనుక హైదరాబాద్లో సీట్లు పెంచాలనే ఉద్దేశం ఉందా అని ప్రశ్నించారు. డీలిమిటేషన్ వల్ల దక్షిణాది రాష్ట్రాలకు అన్యాయం జరుగుతుందనే ప్రచారం కేవలం అపోహ మాత్రమే అని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ఇక ఈ నెల 24న గవర్నర్ శివప్రతాప్ శుక్లా మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్లాలో పర్యటించనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు. ప్రధానమంత్రి సంసద్ ఖేల్ మహోత్సవ్ కార్యక్రమంలో విజేతలైన క్రీడాకారులకు గవర్నర్ బహుమతులు అందజేయనున్నారు.

Women Reservation Bill Controversy DK Aruna Targets Opposition Over 33% Quota
The Women Reservation Bill has sparked a major political controversy in the Lok Sabha, with the ruling NDA intensifying its attack on opposition parties after the bill failed to move forward. The debate around the 33% Women Reservation has once again brought focus on women empowerment in India and representation of women in Parliament.
BJP MP and former minister DK Aruna launched a sharp attack on opposition parties, accusing them of deliberately blocking the Women Reservation Bill. She alleged that opposition leaders do not support 33% reservation for women in Lok Sabha and have consistently shown a lack of commitment toward women empowerment in India.
According to DK Aruna, the opposition parties have conspired to prevent the implementation of the Women Reservation Bill, fearing political consequences. She claimed that enabling 33% Women Reservation would strengthen democratic representation and empower more women to enter legislative bodies, which the opposition allegedly wants to avoid.
Taking a direct dig at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Aruna said he failed to maintain decorum in Parliament. She further alleged that the opposition blocked the Women Reservation Bill because it would bring political credit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This, she claimed, was the primary reason behind the resistance to 33% Women Reservation.
She also accused opposition parties of trying to divide the country along regional lines by creating a North vs South narrative. Aruna termed such actions as harmful to national unity and said the focus should instead be on progressive reforms like the Women Reservation Bill.
Speaking about Telangana politics, DK Aruna criticized the Congress-led state government for failing to fulfill promises made to women. She stated that despite assurances, the government has not taken meaningful steps toward women empowerment in Telangana, and accused it of disrespecting women voters.
On the issue of delimitation in India, she questioned Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over his remarks suggesting GDP-based delimitation. Aruna raised concerns about whether there was an intention to increase assembly seats in Hyderabad and dismissed claims that delimitation would negatively impact southern states, calling such arguments misleading.
In addition, she announced that Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla will visit Mahabubnagar on April 24. During the Prime Minister Sansad Khel Mahotsav, the Governor will distribute prizes to athletes who excelled in the event.
