సింగరేణిలో మహిళా డంపర్ ఆపరేటర్ల నియామకానికి శ్రీకారం చుట్టారు. 13 దశాబ్దాల చరిత్రలో తొలిసారిగా భారీ డంపర్లను మహిళలు నడపనున్నారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశాల మేరకు ఈ చర్యలు చేపట్టారు. ఓపెన్ కాస్ట్ గనుల్లో 60 నుంచి 100 టన్నుల భారీ డంపర్ల నిర్వహణ కోసం మహిళలకు అవకాశం కల్పించారు. ఇప్పటికే 13 మంది మహిళా ఉద్యోగులు.. భారీ వాహనాల డ్రైవింగ్ శిక్షణ పూర్తి చేశారు. సిరిసిల్లలోని తెలంగాణ ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ ఆఫ్ డ్రైవింగ్ ఎడ్యుకేషన్ అండ్ స్కిల్స్ ద్వారా మహిళలకు ఉచితంగా ఈ శిక్షణ అందించారు.త్వరలో విడుదల కానున్న డంపర్ ఆపరేటర్ పోస్టుల్లో మహిళలకు అవకాశం ఇవ్వనున్నారు. పురుషులకు మాత్రమే పరిమితమైన ఉద్యోగాల్లో మహిళలకు ప్రాధాన్యం ఇవ్వనున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే బెల్లంపల్లి ఖైరీగూడ గనిలో మహిళలతోనే బ్లాస్టింగ్ విభాగం నిర్వహణ చేపట్టారు. సింగరేణిలో తొలి మహిళా రెస్క్యూ జట్టును అధికారులు ఏర్పాటు చేశారు.

Singareni Opens Dumper Operator Jobs for Women in Historic First
Singareni Collieries Company Limited has started recruiting women as dumper operators for the first time in its 13-decade history. Following directions from Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the company is creating opportunities for women to operate massive 60 to 100-ton dumpers in open-cast coal mines.
As part of this initiative, 13 women employees have already completed heavy vehicle driving training. The training was provided free of cost through the Telangana Institute of Driving Education and Skills located in Sircilla.
Singareni is expected to soon release dumper operator job notifications that will include positions for women candidates. These roles were traditionally limited to men, but the company is now encouraging greater women participation in mining operations.
Earlier, Singareni also introduced an all-women blasting team at the Khairiguda mine in Bellampalli. In another milestone, officials have formed the company’s first-ever women rescue team, marking a major step toward gender equality and women empowerment in the mining sector.
