పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ కొరతపై కలెక్టర్ హెచ్చరికలు.. కృత్రిమ కొరత సృష్టిస్తే కఠిన చర్యలు
జిల్లాలో పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ సరఫరాపై పర్యవేక్షణను మరింత కట్టుదిట్టం చేస్తూ జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ ఆనంద్ కీలక ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. నగరంలోని విజయనగర్ కాలనీలో ఉన్న హెచ్పీ పెట్రోల్ బంక్ను ఆకస్మికంగా తనిఖీ చేసిన కలెక్టర్, పెట్రోల్ ధరలు, డీజిల్ ధరలు, ఇంధన సరఫరా పరిస్థితులపై వివరాలు సేకరించారు.
పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ అమ్మకాలు రోజుకు ఎంత జరుగుతున్నాయి, ఇండెంట్ పెట్టిన తర్వాత ఇంధన సరఫరా ఎంత సమయంలో అందుతోంది వంటి అంశాలపై బంక్ యాజమాన్యాన్ని ప్రశ్నించారు. ఇండెంట్ పెట్టి చెల్లింపులు త్వరగా పూర్తి చేస్తే పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ సరఫరా వేగంగా జరిగేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
ఇటీవల పెట్రోల్ కొరత, డీజిల్ కొరత అనే వార్తల నేపథ్యంలో వినియోగదారులు భారీగా ఇంధనం కొనుగోలు చేయడం వల్ల కృత్రిమ కొరత (Artificial Fuel Shortage) ఏర్పడే అవకాశముందని కలెక్టర్ హెచ్చరించారు. స్టాక్ కొరత లేదని, పానిక్ బైయింగ్ వల్ల మాత్రమే పెట్రోల్ కొరత ఏర్పడుతున్నట్లు స్పష్టం చేశారు.
శారదానగర్లోని భారత పెట్రోలియం బంక్ను కూడా పరిశీలించిన కలెక్టర్, వినియోగదారులతో నేరుగా మాట్లాడారు. పెట్రోల్ దొరకదని భావించి ఎక్కువగా నిల్వ చేసుకునే ప్రయత్నాలు చేయొద్దని సూచించారు. క్యాన్లు, డ్రమ్లలో పెద్ద మొత్తంలో పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ కొనుగోలు చేస్తున్నారా అని వీఆర్వోను అడిగి, రిజిస్టర్లో నమోదు చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు.
పెట్రోలు, డీజిల్ను బ్లాక్ మార్కెట్కు తరలిస్తే కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని స్పష్టంగా హెచ్చరించారు. ఇంధన సరఫరాలో ఎలాంటి అవకతవకలు జరగకుండా కట్టుదిట్టమైన పర్యవేక్షణ కొనసాగుతుందని తెలిపారు.
ఇక జాయింట్ కలెక్టర్ విష్ణుచరణ్ కూడా జిల్లాలోని పలు పెట్రోల్ బంక్లను తనిఖీ చేసి ఇంధన సరఫరా, నిల్వలు, పెట్రోల్ ధరలు, డీజిల్ ధరలపై సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. ఆర్టీసీ బస్టాండ్ పరిసరాల్లోని పలు బంక్లలో స్టాక్ వివరాలు సేకరించి యాజమాన్యంతో మాట్లాడారు.
ఎక్కడైనా కృత్రిమ కొరత సృష్టించినా, పెట్రోల్ ధరలు, డీజిల్ ధరలు అధికంగా వసూలు చేసినా కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని హెచ్చరించారు. జిల్లాలో ఎక్కడా “నో స్టాక్” బోర్డులు కనిపించకూడదని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
ప్రస్తుతం జిల్లాలో పెట్రోల్ కొరత లేదని, డీజిల్ కొరత లేదని అధికారులు వెల్లడించారు. ప్రజలు అనవసరంగా భయపడకుండా సాధారణంగా ఇంధనం వినియోగించాలని సూచించారు.

Petrol Diesel Shortage Fears Collector Warns Against Panic Buying
Amid growing concerns over a possible petrol diesel shortage, district authorities stepped up field inspections to ensure smooth fuel supply and prevent any artificial scarcity. District Collector Anand conducted surprise visits to multiple petrol bunks, closely examining petrol diesel stock, daily sales, and supply timelines.
During his inspection at the HP petrol bunk (Lakshmi Venkata Sai Automobiles) in Vijayanagar Colony, the Collector questioned the management in detail. He asked about daily petrol sales, diesel sales, and how long it takes for petrol diesel supply to arrive after placing an indent. Officials informed him that timely payment after indent ensures faster delivery of fuel.
The Collector emphasized that there is no real petrol shortage or diesel shortage in the district. He made it clear that rumors and panic buying of petrol diesel are the primary reasons behind temporary disruptions in availability. “When people rush to buy fuel in large quantities, it creates a false impression of fuel shortage,” he noted.
He also issued a strong warning against fuel black marketing and illegal diversion of petrol diesel stock. Any petrol bunk found engaging in such activities will face strict legal action. Authorities checked whether customers were purchasing fuel in bulk using cans and drums, which often contributes to an artificial petrol diesel shortage. Officials were instructed to record such transactions and maintain transparency in fuel distribution.
Later, the Collector visited a Bharat Petroleum outlet in Sharadanagar and interacted directly with consumers. Several customers said they came fearing a petrol shortage, but the Collector reassured them that petrol diesel supply is stable and there is no need for panic buying.
In parallel, Joint Collector Vishnucharan carried out inspections at various fuel stations across the city, including those near the RTC bus stand, Dwaraka, Balaji, Meda petrol bunk, and Sangamesh Circle. He reviewed petrol diesel availability, stock registers, and supply records, and interacted with petrol bunk owners about fuel supply chain management.
The Joint Collector directed officials to submit real-time reports on petrol diesel stock and ensure uninterrupted fuel supply across all outlets. He strictly instructed that no petrol bunk should display “No Stock” boards unless verified by authorities. He also warned that overcharging beyond the official petrol price and diesel price would invite strict penalties.
Officials from revenue, civil supplies, and weights & measures departments participated in the inspections, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to preventing any petrol diesel shortage.
Authorities once again clarified that petrol diesel supply is stable, and there is no actual fuel shortage in the district. Citizens have been urged to avoid panic buying, refrain from bulk storage, and trust official updates on petrol diesel availability to maintain normal supply conditions.
