తెలంగాణలో మరో భారీ జాబ్ స్కామ్ వెలుగులోకి వచ్చింది. Nalgonda జిల్లాలో నిరుద్యోగుల అమాయకత్వాన్ని ఆసరాగా చేసుకుని ఓ ముఠా కోట్ల రూపాయల మోసానికి పాల్పడింది. దేవాలయాల్లో హుండీ లెక్కింపు ఉద్యోగాలు ఇప్పిస్తామని నమ్మబలికి వెయ్యికి పైగా నిరుద్యోగ యువతీ యువకుల నుంచి సుమారు రూ.20 కోట్లకు పైగా వసూలు చేసిన ఘటన ఇప్పుడు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా సంచలనం రేపుతోంది. ఈ భారీ జాబ్ ఫ్రాడ్పై పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు వేగవంతం చేశారు.
దేవాలయ ఉద్యోగాల పేరుతో భారీ మోసం
పోలీసులు వెల్లడించిన వివరాల ప్రకారం.. పులి రవి అనే వ్యక్తి ఈ భారీ ఉద్యోగ మోసానికి ప్రధాన సూత్రధారిగా వ్యవహరించినట్లు గుర్తించారు. ప్రభుత్వ దేవాలయాల్లో పర్మనెంట్ ఉద్యోగాలు, అవుట్ సోర్సింగ్ జాబ్స్ ఇప్పిస్తామని నిరుద్యోగులను నమ్మించాడు. ముఖ్యంగా దేవాలయాల్లో హుండీ లెక్కింపు ఉద్యోగాలు తమ ఏజెన్సీకే వచ్చాయని ప్రచారం చేస్తూ సోషల్ మీడియా, స్థానిక పరిచయాల ద్వారా యువతను ఆకర్షించాడు.
దేవాదాయ శాఖకు చెందిన ప్రముఖ ఆలయాల్లో ఖాళీలు ఉన్నాయని చెప్పి ఉద్యోగాల కోసం భారీ డిమాండ్ సృష్టించాడు. దీంతో ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగం వస్తుందనే ఆశతో అనేక మంది నిరుద్యోగులు అతని మాటలు నమ్మి డబ్బులు చెల్లించారు.
‘సాలరీ బాక్స్’ యాప్తో టెక్నాలజీ మోసం
ఈ జాబ్ స్కామ్లో అత్యంత షాకింగ్ అంశం ‘సాలరీ బాక్స్’ పేరుతో రూపొందించిన మొబైల్ యాప్. బాధితులు నిజంగానే ఉద్యోగంలో చేరామనే భావన కలిగించేందుకు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఈ యాప్ను రూపొందించినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు.
ప్రతిరోజూ ఉదయం 9 గంటలకు యాప్లో అటెండెన్స్ నమోదు చేయాలని అభ్యర్థులకు సూచనలు ఇచ్చాడు. దీంతో యువత తాము నిజంగానే దేవాలయ ఉద్యోగాలు చేస్తున్నామనే నమ్మకంలో ఉండిపోయారు. ఈ టెక్నాలజీ మోసం కారణంగా చాలా మంది అనుమానం కూడా వ్యక్తం చేయలేదని సమాచారం.
ఒక్కో ఉద్యోగానికి రూ.2 లక్షలు
దేవాలయ ఉద్యోగాల పేరుతో ఒక్కో అభ్యర్థి నుంచి రూ.1 లక్ష నుంచి రూ.2 లక్షల వరకు వసూలు చేసినట్లు పోలీసులు తెలిపారు. అంతేకాదు, ‘సాలరీ బాక్స్’ యాప్ డౌన్లోడ్ చేసుకుని లాగిన్ అవ్వడానికి కూడా ఒక్కొక్కరి నుంచి రూ.5 వేల చొప్పున తీసుకున్నట్లు విచారణలో వెల్లడైంది.
నెలలు గడుస్తున్నా జీతాలు రాకపోవడంతో బాధితులకు అనుమానం మొదలైంది. చివరకు దేవాలయ అధికారులను సంప్రదించగా.. అసలు అలాంటి ఏజెన్సీకి ఎలాంటి కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఇవ్వలేదని తెలిసి ఒక్కసారిగా షాక్కు గురయ్యారు.

Fake Promise of Temple Jobs in Telangana
According to police officials, the scam was allegedly masterminded by a man identified as Puli Ravi, who projected himself as the head of a recruitment agency connected to government temples and outsourcing contracts. He reportedly targeted unemployed youth from Nalgonda and nearby districts by promising government temple jobs, outsourcing work, and permanent employment opportunities.
The accused spread advertisements claiming that several major temples in Telangana required staff for hundi counting jobs, office work, and temple administration services. He allegedly told candidates that his agency had secured official contracts from temple authorities and that recruitment was already underway.
Because of rising unemployment and increasing competition for government jobs, many young people believed the offers were genuine. Several victims reportedly approached the agency hoping to secure stable employment and a monthly salary.
Candidates Paid Lakhs for Fake Jobs
Police said the accused collected huge amounts of money from candidates under the pretext of registration charges, processing fees, and job confirmation deposits. Each applicant was reportedly asked to pay anywhere between Rs 1 lakh and Rs 2 lakh to secure a position.
Investigators believe the fraudsters carefully built trust among victims by conducting fake interviews, issuing appointment-like confirmations, and giving assurances that the jobs were linked to temple administrations.
Many unemployed youth allegedly borrowed money from relatives, friends, and private lenders after believing they were getting permanent temple jobs. Some families reportedly sold gold and other valuables to arrange the required payments.
The scam eventually grew into a massive fake job consultancy fraud, with more than 1,000 people suspected to have fallen victim.
‘Salary Box’ Mobile App Added Credibility
One of the most shocking aspects of the Nalgonda job scam was the use of technology to make the fake recruitment process appear authentic.
Police revealed that the accused allegedly developed a mobile application called “Salary Box” to create the impression that candidates had officially joined duty. Victims were instructed to download the app, log in daily, and mark attendance every morning at 9 AM.
This digital attendance system reportedly convinced many candidates that they were genuinely employed by the temple outsourcing agency. Victims believed salary processing and employee records were being maintained through the app.
In another surprising detail, the accused allegedly charged Rs 5,000 separately from each candidate just for downloading and activating the application. Police said this was done to make the entire process appear professional and legitimate.
The use of a mobile app significantly increased trust among victims and helped the fraud continue for several months without suspicion.
Scam Exposed After Salaries Failed to Arrive
The scam started to unravel after candidates failed to receive salaries even after months of attendance marking through the app. Initially, victims were reportedly given excuses such as administrative delays, payment approvals, and pending government clearances.
However, doubts increased when there was no official joining order or salary credit. Some victims later approached temple authorities directly to verify the recruitment process.
Temple officials reportedly clarified that no such recruitment agency had been authorized and that no contracts for hundi counting jobs had been awarded to private agencies in the manner claimed by the accused.
The revelation shocked victims, many of whom realized they had been trapped in a carefully planned Telangana employment scam.
