హైదరాబాద్ గన్పార్క్ వద్ద బీఆర్ఎస్ నేతలు తీవ్ర ఆందోళన చేపట్టారు(BRS Protest). ఎమ్మెల్యేలు కేటీఆర్, హరీశ్ రావు, ఎమ్మెల్సీ శ్రవణ్తో పాటు పలువురు గులాబీ పార్టీ నేతలు మొక్కజొన్న రైతుల సమస్యలను ప్రస్తావిస్తూ నిరసనకు దిగారు. మార్కెట్లలో పెద్దఎత్తున వచ్చిన మక్కలను కొనుగోలు చేయకపోవడంతో రైతులు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు పడుతున్నారని ప్లకార్డులు ప్రదర్శిస్తూ నినాదాలు చేశారు.
గన్పార్క్లో మొక్కజొన్నలతో నిరసన వ్యక్తం చేసిన నేతలు అక్కడి నుంచి కాలినడకన అసెంబ్లీకి బయలుదేరారు. రైతుల పట్ల ప్రభుత్వం నిర్లక్ష్యంగా వ్యవహరిస్తోందని ఆరోపిస్తూ తమ ఆందోళనను కొనసాగించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా మాజీ మంత్రి హరీశ్ రావు మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్రంలో సుమారు 8 లక్షల ఎకరాల్లో రైతులు మొక్కజొన్న పంట పండించారని తెలిపారు. అయితే సరైన మద్దతు ధర లేకపోవడం, అకాల వర్షాల కారణంగా రైతులు నష్టాల్లో కూరుకుపోయారని పేర్కొన్నారు. దాదాపు 25 శాతం పంట దళారుల చేతికి వెళ్లిపోయిందని, ప్రభుత్వం పంట బీమా అమలు చేయడంలో విఫలమైందని విమర్శించారు.
వడగండ్ల వానలతో రైతులు తీవ్రంగా నష్టపోయారని, ఇన్పుట్ సబ్సిడీ ఇప్పటికీ అందలేదని హరీశ్ రావు అన్నారు. వెంటనే రైతులకు సహాయం అందించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ, మక్కలకు క్వింటాల్కు రూ.2400 మద్దతు ధరతో పాటు రూ.500 బోనస్ను ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించాలని కోరారు.
