ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలు వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలి

హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న విద్యార్థుల ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలను వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఈ మేరకు తెలంగాణ సమాచార సాంకేతిక (IT), పరిశ్రమలు, వాణిజ్యం మరియు శాసనసభా వ్యవహారాల శాఖ మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు గారిని తెలంగాణ సచివాలయంలో కలిసి వివిధ బీసీ సమస్యలపై నివేదిక సమర్పించినట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా అనంతరం మీడియాతో మాట్లాడిన గుజ్జ సత్యం, రాష్ట్రంలో వేలాది మంది బీసీ, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మైనారిటీ విద్యార్థులు ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిల కారణంగా ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఫీజులు చెల్లించకపోవడంతో విద్యార్థుల సర్టిఫికెట్లు నిలిపివేయడం, హాల్టికెట్లు ఇవ్వడంలో జాప్యం, విద్యా ప్రక్రియలో ఆటంకాలు ఏర్పడుతున్నాయని పేర్కొన్నారు.
ఫీజు రియంబర్స్మెంట్ పథకం సంక్షేమ కార్యక్రమం మాత్రమే కాదని, పేద విద్యార్థుల ఉన్నత విద్యకు భరోసా కల్పించే సామాజిక బాధ్యత అని అన్నారు. ప్రభుత్వం నిధుల విడుదలలో ఆలస్యం చేయడం వల్ల విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తు అనిశ్చితిలో పడుతోందని విమర్శించారు.
గతంలో అమలైన ఫీజు విడుదల విధానాన్ని పునరుద్ధరించి, సమయానికి నిధులు విడుదలయ్యేలా చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆయన కోరారు. అలాగే బీసీ విద్యార్థులకు ప్రత్యేక విద్యా పథకాలు, హాస్టల్ సదుపాయాలు, నైపుణ్యాభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలు, యువతకు ఉపాధి అవకాశాల విస్తరణపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించాలని సూచించారు.
మంత్రి దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబును కలిసిన ప్రతినిధుల బృందంలో బీసీ జేఏసీ మహిళా నాయకురాలు మట్టా జయంతి గౌడ్, కామారెడ్డి జిల్లా బీసీ సంఘం అధ్యక్షుడు శంకరయ్య, గంగపుత్ర సంఘం రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు అశోక్, నవీన్, ఇతర బీసీ నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
బీసీ వర్గాల సమస్యలను సానుకూలంగా పరిశీలించి సంబంధిత శాఖలతో చర్చించి పరిష్కారానికి చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని మంత్రి హామీ ఇచ్చినట్లు గుజ్జ సత్యం తెలిపారు.
“విద్యార్థుల భవిష్యత్తు రాజకీయ అంశం కాదు.. సమాజ బాధ్యత” అని గుజ్జ సత్యం స్పష్టం చేశారు.

BC Leaders Urge Immediate Release of Fee Reimbursement Dues in Telangana
HYDERABAD, May 25: A delegation of Backward Classes (BC) leaders led by National BC Welfare Association National Vice President Gujja Sathyam met Telangana Information Technology, Industries, Commerce and Legislative Affairs Minister దుద్దిళ్ల శ్రీధర్ బాబు at the State Secretariat and submitted a memorandum seeking the immediate release of pending student fee reimbursement dues and addressing several issues concerning BC communities.
Addressing the media after the meeting, Gujja Sathyam expressed concern over delays in the disbursement of fee reimbursement funds, stating that thousands of students from BC, SC, ST and minority communities across Telangana are facing significant hardships due to pending payments. He said delays in releasing funds were affecting students’ academic continuity and creating uncertainty over their educational future.
Sathyam noted that several educational institutions were reportedly withholding academic certificates and creating administrative hurdles due to unpaid reimbursement amounts. He observed that such developments were placing additional psychological and financial pressure on students and their families.
Describing fee reimbursement as more than a welfare measure, he said the scheme represented an important component of social equity and educational access for economically weaker sections. He urged the government to restore an efficient and time-bound mechanism for fund disbursement and establish a transparent monitoring system to avoid future delays.
The delegation also submitted representations concerning broader BC welfare demands, including improved educational support, hostel facilities, skill development initiatives and enhanced employment opportunities for youth from backward communities.
The minister reportedly assured the delegation that the issues raised would be examined and discussed with the concerned departments for appropriate action.
The delegation included BC JAC women leader Matta Jayanthi Goud, Kamareddy District BC Association President Shankarayya, Gangaputra Association state leaders Ashok and Naveen, along with other BC representatives.
Speaking on the larger issue, Gujja Sathyam said that the future of students and the welfare of backward communities should be viewed as a social responsibility rather than a political issue, and called for urgent action from the government on the pending dues matter.
