కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై అసత్య ప్రచారాలు చేస్తే ప్రజల ఆగ్రహం తప్పదు ఎమ్మెల్యే పల్లా రాజేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి
జనగామ ఎమ్మెల్యే పల్లా రాజేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టుపై జరుగుతున్న అసత్య ప్రచారాలపై తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు, కాళేశ్వరం లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ స్కీమ్, తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధి ప్రాజెక్టులు, కాళేశ్వరం ప్రయోజనాలు వంటి అంశాలపై తప్పుడు సమాచారం పంచితే తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు సహించరని హెచ్చరించారు.
గురువారం చేర్యాల పట్టణంలో నిర్వహించిన విలేకరుల సమావేశంలో ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు అనేది కేవలం మేడిగడ్డకు మాత్రమే పరిమితం కాదని, ఇది మొత్తం తెలంగాణకు వరప్రదాయిని అయిన మహత్తర ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ అని పేర్కొన్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని సాగునీటి విస్తరణలో కాళేశ్వరం లిఫ్ట్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రాజెక్ట్ కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తోందని వివరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా పల్లా రాజేశ్వర్ రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ, పీసీ ఘోష్ కమిషన్ను పీసీసీ కమిషన్గా మార్చే ప్రయత్నాలు జరుగుతున్నాయని విమర్శించారు. కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు వివాదం, హైకోర్టు తీర్పు కాళేశ్వరం అంశాలు దీనికి స్పష్టమైన ఉదాహరణలని అన్నారు. హైకోర్టు తీర్పు కూడా ఈ విషయాన్ని రుజువు చేసిందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అదే కార్యక్రమంలో వివిధ మండలాల లబ్ధిదారులకు సీఎంఆర్ఎఫ్ చెక్కులు పంపిణీ చేశారు. మొత్తం రూ.13.50 లక్షల విలువైన సీఎంఆర్ఎఫ్ సహాయాన్ని అందజేశారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో మునిసిపల్ చైర్పర్సన్ ముస్త్యాల అరుణ, వైస్ చైర్మన్ ఉమ, బీఆర్ఎస్ నాయకులు అనంతుల మల్లేశం, మేక సంతోష్, మంద యాదగిరి తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

Kaleshwaram Project Row Palla Rajeshwar Reddy Warns Against False Propaganda
Jangaon MLA Palla Rajeshwar Reddy launched a sharp attack on what he described as false propaganda against the Kaleshwaram Project, warning that the people of Telangana would strongly respond to any misinformation targeting the Kaleshwaram Project and the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme. He made these remarks during a press conference held in Cherial town on Thursday.
Addressing the media, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy emphasized that the Kaleshwaram Project is not just about the Medigadda barrage, but a massive and integrated Telangana irrigation project that has transformed water availability across the state. He said the Kaleshwaram Project benefits extend to lakhs of farmers by improving irrigation, stabilizing groundwater levels, and ensuring water security in drought-prone regions. Repeated criticism of the Kaleshwaram Project, he argued, is politically motivated and ignores the project’s impact on Telangana’s agricultural growth.
Taking aim at the inquiry into the project, he alleged that the PC Ghose Commission was being turned into a politically driven exercise, referring to it as a “PCC Commission.” He stated that developments related to the Kaleshwaram Project controversy, including the High Court verdict on Kaleshwaram Project, reflect the larger political narrative surrounding the issue. According to him, the verdict itself highlights the inconsistencies in the allegations being made.
Reiterating his stance, the MLA warned that spreading false narratives about the Kaleshwaram Project could mislead the public and harm the credibility of one of India’s largest lift irrigation projects. He urged political opponents to refrain from distorting facts and instead acknowledge the contributions of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Scheme to Telangana’s development.
Following the press meet, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth ₹13.50 lakh to beneficiaries from various mandals. The distribution highlighted ongoing welfare measures as part of broader Telangana development initiatives.
The event was attended by Municipal Chairperson Mustyala Aruna, Vice Chairman Uma, and BRS leaders Ananthula Mallesham, Meka Santosh, and Manda Yadagiri, who echoed support for the Kaleshwaram Project and its role in strengthening the state’s irrigation infrastructure.
