సత్య తెలంగాణ హైదరాబాద్ (Telangana Infant Death) : నాగర్కర్నూల్ జిల్లా కుమ్మెర గ్రామంలో నిర్వహించిన మల్లన్న జాతర సందర్భంగా చోటుచేసుకున్న దారుణ ఘటన రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా తీవ్ర ఆందోళనకు గురిచేస్తోంది. కులవివక్షతో నిరుపేద రజక కుటుంబంపై జరిగిన దాడిలో రెండు నెలల పసిపాప మృతి చెందడం మానవత్వానికే మచ్చగా నిలిచింది.
ఈ ఘటనపై తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేసిన జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, “పసిబిడ్డ ప్రాణం తీసేంత క్రూరత్వం సమాజంలో ఎలా పెరుగుతోంది? ఇది కేవలం ఒక కుటుంబంపై దాడి కాదు, బీసీ సమాజ గౌరవంపై దాడి” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
కుమ్మెర గ్రామంలో జరిగిన మల్లన్న జాతరకు రజక వృత్తికి చెందిన గణేశ్, ఆయన భార్య మౌనిక, వారి రెండు నెలల పసిపాపతో పాటు కుటుంబ సభ్యులు హాజరయ్యారు. జాతర ప్రాంగణంలో చోటుచేసుకున్న వాగ్వాదం కులవివక్ష రూపం దాల్చి, కొందరు వ్యక్తులు కుటుంబంపై దాడికి దిగినట్లు స్థానికులు చెబుతున్నారు. ఈ దాడిలో పాప తీవ్రంగా గాయపడగా, ఆసుపత్రికి తరలించేలోపే ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయినట్లు సమాచారం.
పాప తల్లి, కుటుంబ సభ్యులతో గుజ్జ సత్యం ఫోన్లో మాట్లాడి సంఘీభావం తెలియజేశారు. కుటుంబానికి ధైర్యం చెప్పి, న్యాయం కోసం సంఘం పోరాటం చేస్తుందని హామీ ఇచ్చారు.
ఈ ఘటనలో నిందితులపై కఠిన కేసులు నమోదు చేయకుండా, నామమాత్రపు సెక్షన్లతో కేసులు నమోదు చేసి వారిని రక్షించే ప్రయత్నం జరుగుతోందని గుజ్జ సత్యం ఆరోపించారు. “ఇది స్పష్టమైన కులవివక్ష దాడి. ఎస్సీ/ఎస్టీ అట్రాసిటీస్ చట్టం తరహాలోనే బీసీ సమాజంపై జరిగే దాడులకూ కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి. నిందితులను వెంటనే అరెస్ట్ చేసి, వేగవంతమైన విచారణ జరిపి శిక్షించాలి” అని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
పసిపాప మృతిపై రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించి, బాధిత కుటుంబానికి తక్షణ ఆర్థిక సాయం ప్రకటించడంతో పాటు, కుటుంబానికి భద్రత కల్పించాలని ఆయన కోరారు. “బీసీ సమాజంపై జరుగుతున్న దాడులు రోజురోజుకూ పెరుగుతున్నాయి. ప్రభుత్వం దీనిపై ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి పెట్టి కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలి” అని అన్నారు.
