ఖమ్మంలో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులకు మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి మార్గదర్శనం
ఖమ్మం జిల్లాలో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు రాజకీయాలకంటే అభివృద్ధి పనులపై ఎక్కువగా దృష్టి సారించాలని తెలంగాణ రెవెన్యూ శాఖ మంత్రి Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy సూచించారు. ఎన్నికల సమయంలో మాత్రమే రాజకీయాలు ఉండాలని, ఎన్నికల్లో గెలిచిన తర్వాత ప్రతి ప్రజాప్రతినిధి ప్రజలకు సేవ చేసే బాధ్యతను గుర్తుంచుకోవాలని ఆయన అన్నారు. ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపడే కార్యక్రమాలను అమలు చేయడంలో అధికారులు కూడా చురుకుగా పనిచేయాలని మంత్రి సూచించారు.
గురువారం ఖమ్మంలోని Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetram లో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులకు ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణా కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. “ప్రజాపాలన – ప్రగతి ప్రణాళిక” శిక్షణ కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి ఈ సందర్భంగా ప్రసంగించారు.
అభివృద్ధి బాధ్యత మనపై ఉంది
తమ ప్రభుత్వం ఈ నెల 6వ తేదీ నుంచి 99 రోజుల పాటు “ప్రజాపాలన – ప్రగతి ప్రణాళిక” కార్యక్రమాన్ని అమలు చేస్తోందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. గ్రామానికి సర్పంచ్గా ఉన్న వ్యక్తి వల్ల గ్రామం అభివృద్ధి చెందిందని ప్రజలు చెప్పుకునేలా పనిచేయాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. అలాగే కలెక్టర్లు, పోలీస్ కమిషనర్లు తమ పదవిలో ఉన్న సమయంలో ప్రజలకు మంచి సేవలు అందించాలన్నారు.
ప్రజలు తమకు ఓటు వేసి గెలిపించినందుకు వారి ప్రాంతాలను అభివృద్ధి చేయడం ప్రతి ప్రజాప్రతినిధి బాధ్యత అని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు. గ్రామ పంచాయతీ వ్యవస్థ ఏర్పడిన తర్వాత ఇంత పెద్ద మొత్తంలో నిధులు వచ్చిన సందర్భాలు అరుదుగా ఉన్నాయని చెప్పారు.
నిధులను సమర్థంగా వినియోగించాలి
మార్చి 31లోపు అభివృద్ధి పనుల కోసం మరిన్ని నిధులు విడుదలయ్యే అవకాశముందని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. అందువల్ల వచ్చిన నిధులను ప్రణాళికాబద్ధంగా, ప్రజలకు ఉపయోగపడే విధంగా వినియోగించాలని సూచించారు.
సర్పంచ్లకు ఇప్పటికే శిక్షణ ఇవ్వబడిందని, వారి విధులు మరియు బాధ్యతలు వారికి స్పష్టంగా తెలుసని మంత్రి చెప్పారు. వేసవి కాలంలో తాగునీటి సమస్యలు తలెత్తకుండా అధికారులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు కలిసి చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆదేశించారు.
ఏ గ్రామ పంచాయతీకి ఎక్కువ నిధులు వచ్చినా వాటిని సమర్థంగా వినియోగించుకోవాలని జిల్లా కలెక్టర్కు మంత్రి సూచించారు. ప్రజలకు మరియు ప్రభుత్వానికి మధ్య వారధిలా పనిచేస్తూ గ్రామాల అభివృద్ధిలో ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు భాగస్వాములు కావాలని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్ రెడ్డి సూచించారు.

In the latest Khammam News, Telangana Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy urged public representatives to focus more on Telangana Development Works rather than political activities. He stated that politics should be limited to elections, and once elected, every leader must work as a true representative dedicated to public service.
The minister made these remarks during a Public Representatives Training Telangana program held at Bhakta Ramadasu Kalakshetram. The training session was organized under the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika initiative aimed at strengthening Telangana Local Governance and accelerating development activities across villages.

During the Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy Speech, the minister said that the state government has launched the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika program for 99 days starting from the 6th of this month. The initiative focuses on improving governance and speeding up Telangana Rural Development across the state.
He emphasized that a village should progress in such a way that people proudly say development happened during the tenure of their sarpanch. Similarly, collectors and police commissioners should ensure that their service leaves a positive impact on the public.
According to the minister, people have elected representatives with trust, and it is their responsibility to work for the growth of their respective areas. He noted that since the establishment of the panchayat system, such a large allocation of Telangana Panchayat Funds for development has rarely been seen.
Effective Utilization of Funds
The Telangana Minister Ponguleti News also highlighted that more funds for development works are expected to be released before March 31. He advised public representatives to utilize these funds carefully and ensure that the projects benefit the people.
He mentioned that sarpanches have already received training regarding their duties and responsibilities under Telangana Panchayat Development initiatives. The minister also directed officials and local leaders to work together to ensure there are no drinking water issues during the summer season.
Further, he instructed the district administration to ensure that panchayats receiving higher funds use them efficiently for the benefit of the public. Public representatives should act as a bridge between the government and the people, actively participating in village development and strengthening governance at the grassroots level.
