తల్లిదండ్రుల సంరక్షణ చట్టం బిల్లుకు తెలంగాణ అసెంబ్లీ ఆమోదం

బిల్లులో ముఖ్యాంశాలు
- తల్లిదండ్రులను చూసుకోని ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగుల వేతనం నుంచి ₹10,000 వరకు నేరుగా కోత విధించే అవకాశం
- కోత విధించిన మొత్తం తల్లిదండ్రుల బ్యాంక్ ఖాతాలో నేరుగా జమ
- ఈ చట్టం పరిధిలోకి ప్రభుత్వ ఉద్యోగులతో పాటు ప్రజా ప్రతినిధులు కూడా
- వృద్ధుల ఆర్థిక భద్రతకు చట్టపరమైన రక్షణ
ఈ నిర్ణయం సమాజంలో పెరుగుతున్న వృద్ధుల నిర్లక్ష్యాన్ని తగ్గించడమే లక్ష్యంగా తీసుకున్నట్లు ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది.

అసెంబ్లీలో చర్చ సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణ ముఖ్యమంత్రి Revanth Reddy మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ చట్టం సామాజిక బాధ్యతను గుర్తు చేసే ప్రయత్నం అని తెలిపారు.
“తల్లిదండ్రుల సంరక్షణ కోసం చట్టం తీసుకురావాల్సిన పరిస్థితి రావడం బాధాకరం” అని ఆయన అన్నారు.
తల్లిదండ్రులు తమ పిల్లల కోసం జీవితాంతం కష్టపడతారని, కానీ కొందరు పిల్లలు పెద్దయ్యాక వారిని పట్టించుకోవడం లేదని ఆయన ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
సామాజిక బాధ్యతపై సీఎం పిలుపు
- పిల్లలు ప్రేమతో కాకపోయినా బాధ్యతతో అయినా తల్లిదండ్రులను చూసుకోవాలి
- తల్లిదండ్రులను నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసే వారిని సామాజికంగా బహిష్కరించాలి
- కుటుంబ విలువలను కాపాడటం ప్రతి ఒక్కరి బాధ్యత
కేంద్ర చట్టం ఆధారంగా నిర్ణయం
ఈ బిల్లును రూపొందించడంలో Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 ప్రామాణికంగా తీసుకున్నారు.
- కేంద్ర చట్టం ప్రకారం నెలకు ₹10,000 వరకు సహాయం ఇవ్వొచ్చు
- అదే పరిమితిని తెలంగాణ ప్రభుత్వం కూడా అమలు చేయనుంది

He also called on society to socially boycott individuals who neglect their parents, highlighting the need for collective moral pressure.
Based on Central Law Framework
The Chief Minister recalled the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, introduced by the central government, which already provides legal backing for parental support.
- The central law allows maintenance support up to ₹10,000 per month.
- Telangana’s new bill adopts this same financial cap while strengthening enforcement mechanisms.
