హన్మకొండలో హమాలీ మహా గర్జన
తెలంగాణలో హమాలీల సమస్యలను ప్రభుత్వ దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లేందుకు రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా హమాలీ కార్మికులు భారీ స్థాయిలో ‘హమాలీ మహా గర్జన’ (Hamali Maha Garjana) కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఆదివారం హన్మకొండలోని కాళోజీ కళాక్షేత్రం (Kaloji Kala Kshetram, Hanamkonda) లో జరిగింది.
ఈ సమావేశానికి రాష్ట్ర పంచాయతీ రాజ్ మరియు గ్రామీణాభివృద్ధి శాఖ మంత్రి సీతక్క (Seethakka) ముఖ్య అతిథిగా హాజరయ్యారు. కార్యక్రమంలో ఎమ్మెల్యే నాయిని రాజేందర్ రెడ్డి (Naini Rajender Reddy), టీజీఎస్ అధ్యక్షుడు కోదండరామ్ (Kodandaram), అలాగే పలు కార్మిక సంఘాల నాయకులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
హమాలీల డిమాండ్లు
కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న తెలంగాణ హమాలీ వర్కర్స్ యూనియన్ నాయకులు, కార్మికులు తమ సమస్యలను మంత్రి సీతక్క ఎదుటే ప్రస్తావించారు. కాంగ్రెస్ మేనిఫెస్టోలో కార్మికులకు ఇచ్చిన హామీలను వెంటనే అమలు చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
హమాలీలకు అధికారిక గుర్తింపు ఇవ్వడానికి **హమాలీ వెల్ఫేర్ బోర్డు (Hamali Welfare Board Telangana)**ను తక్షణమే ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని కోరారు. అలాగే మార్కెట్ యార్డులు, గోదాములు మరియు వాణిజ్య ప్రాంతాల్లో పనిచేస్తున్న హమాలీలకు కనీస వేతనాలు (Minimum Wages for Hamali Workers) నిర్ధారించాలని అన్నారు.
చట్టబద్ధ ఉపాధి, ఆహార భద్రత
తెలంగాణలో హమాలీలకు చట్టబద్ధ ఉపాధి (Legal Employment for Hamali Workers) కల్పించడంతో పాటు వారికి ఆహార భద్రత (Food Security for Workers) కూడా అందించాలని కార్మిక సంఘాలు కోరాయి. హమాలీల పని పరిస్థితులను మెరుగుపర్చేందుకు ప్రత్యేక చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
కార్మిక సంఘాల నాయకులు మాట్లాడుతూ, హమాలీలు రాష్ట్ర ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తున్నప్పటికీ, వారి కష్టానికి తగిన గుర్తింపు, సంక్షేమం అందడం లేదని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.

10 Key Demands Raised at Hamali Maha Garjana in Hanamkonda
To bring their long-pending problems to the government’s attention, Telangana Hamali Workers organized a massive Hamali Maha Garjana protest in Hanamkonda. The large gathering was held on Sunday at Kaloji Kala Kshetram Hanamkonda, drawing participation from hamali labourers and union leaders from different parts of the state. During the Hamali Workers Protest Telangana, leaders of the Telangana Hamali Workers Union presented their concerns directly to Minister Seethakka. They urged the government to fulfill the promises made to workers in the Congress party manifesto and address the ongoing Telangana Labour Issues faced by hamali labourers.
Union leaders strongly demanded the immediate formation of the Hamali Welfare Board Telangana to ensure official recognition and social security benefits for hamali workers across the state. They also called for the implementation of Minimum Wages Hamali Workers employed in market yards, warehouses, and commercial establishments.
Demand for Legal Employment and Welfare Measures
Labour unions further demanded legal employment opportunities, food security, and improved working conditions for hamali workers in Telangana. They said the government must take concrete steps to strengthen labour welfare policies and protect the rights of daily wage workers.
Union leaders emphasized that hamali workers play a crucial role in Telangana’s economy, yet their contribution has not received adequate recognition or welfare support. Through the Hamali Maha Garjana, workers hoped their voices would reach the government and lead to immediate action on their demands.
