హైదరాబాద్, మార్చి 29: Chalo Delhi BC Movement : బీసీల రాజకీయ హక్కుల సాధన లక్ష్యంగా దేశవ్యాప్తంగా చేపట్టిన “చలో ఢిల్లీ” కార్యక్రమం మరింత ఊపందుకుంది. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం నుంచి బీసీ ప్రతినిధులు ఆదివారం ఢిల్లీకి భారీగా బయలుదేరడం ఈ ఉద్యమానికి ప్రత్యేక ప్రాధాన్యతను తీసుకువచ్చింది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగుతుండగా, రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య మరియు నేషనల్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ డాక్టర్ అరుణ్ కుమార్ నాయకత్వం వహిస్తున్నారు. మార్చి 30, 31 తేదీల్లో ఢిల్లీలోని తెలంగాణ భవన్లో జరిగే ఈ జాతీయ సదస్సు బీసీల రాజకీయ భవిష్యత్తుకు కీలకంగా భావిస్తున్నారు.
బీసీ జెండాతో ప్రతినిధుల పంపిణీ
ప్రతినిధులు బయలుదేరే ముందు నిర్వహించిన కార్యక్రమంలో జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు, బీసీ జేఏసీ రాష్ట్ర కోఆర్డినేటర్ గుజ్జ సత్యం బీసీ జెండాను ఊపి వారిని సాగనంపారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ, దేశ ప్రజాస్వామ్య వ్యవస్థలో బీసీలకు సరైన రాజకీయ ప్రాతినిధ్యం లభించకపోవడం ఒక పెద్ద అసమానతగా అభివర్ణించారు. జనాభాలో అధిక శాతం ఉన్నప్పటికీ, నిర్ణయాధికార కేంద్రాల్లో బీసీలు ఇంకా తక్కువ స్థాయిలో ఉండటం బాధాకరమని అన్నారు.
కులగణనపై మళ్లీ చర్చ – బీసీల డిమాండ్లు
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కులగణన అంశం మళ్లీ ప్రధాన చర్చకు రావడంతో, బీసీల అసలు స్థితిగతులను వెలికితీసి వాటి ఆధారంగా విధానాలు రూపొందించాలని గుజ్జ సత్యం సూచించారు.
“బీసీలను కేవలం ఓటు బ్యాంక్గా ఉపయోగించే రాజకీయాలకు ముగింపు పలకాలి. ప్రతినిధ్యం లేకుండా న్యాయం సాధ్యం కాదు” అని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.

ఢిల్లీ సదస్సులో ప్రధానంగా ఈ కీలక అంశాలు చర్చకు రానున్నాయి:
- చట్టసభల్లో బీసీలకు 50% రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు
- దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సమగ్ర కులగణన అమలు
- కేంద్రంలో ప్రత్యేక బీసీ మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఏర్పాటు

మార్చి 30, 31 తేదీల్లో జరిగే జాతీయ ఓబీసీ సదస్సుకు వివిధ రాష్ట్రాల నుంచి మేధావులు, ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, సామాజిక ఉద్యమకారులు పాల్గొననున్నారు.
ప్రస్తుతం సామాజిక న్యాయం, కులగణన వంటి అంశాలు జాతీయ రాజకీయాల్లో కీలకంగా మారుతున్న నేపథ్యంలో, “చలో ఢిల్లీ” కార్యక్రమం దేశవ్యాప్తంగా చర్చకు దారితీయనుందని రాజకీయ విశ్లేషకులు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నారు.

Chalo Delhi BC Movement Gains Momentum for Political Rights

The Chalo Delhi BC Movement for securing political rights of Backward Classes (BCs) has gained significant momentum as BC representatives from Telangana departed for Delhi on Sunday.
The national-level program is being organized under the leadership of Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah and National Working President Dr. Arun Kumar, with key meetings scheduled on March 30 and 31 at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi.
Chalo Delhi BC Movement: Leaders Flag Off Delegation
Before departure, BC leaders held a send-off event where National BC Welfare Association Vice President and BC JAC State Coordinator Gujja Sathyam flagged off the delegation with the BC flag.
Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that the lack of adequate political representation for BCs reflects a deep-rooted inequality in India’s democratic system. Despite forming a major share of the population, BCs remain underrepresented in decision-making positions.
Chalo Delhi BC Movement Focus: Caste Census and Representation
Amid renewed national debate on caste census, leaders stressed the urgent need to identify the actual socio-economic conditions of BC communities.
Gujja Sathyam stated that policies must be framed based on accurate caste data, and political parties must stop treating BCs merely as vote banks.
He highlighted that the movement is driven by the belief:
“No representation, no justice.”
Key Demands of Chalo Delhi BC Movement
The upcoming national BC conference will focus on major demands:
- 50% political reservations for BCs in legislatures
- Nationwide comprehensive caste census
- Establishment of a separate BC Ministry at the Centre
