హైదరాబాద్, మార్చి 28: (Chalo Delhi BC Demands) దేశ జనాభాలో అత్యధిక శాతం ఉన్న ఇతర వెనుకబడిన వర్గాల (ఓబీసీలు/బీసీలు)కు రాజ్యాంగబద్ధ హక్కులు కల్పించాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ మార్చి 30, 31 తేదీల్లో జాతీయ రాజధాని ఢిల్లీలో “చలో ఢిల్లీ” మహా కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు, బీసీ జేఏసీ కోఆర్డినేటర్ గుజ్జ సత్యం వెల్లడించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ అధ్యక్షుడు, బీసీ జేఏసీ చైర్మన్, రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగుతుందని ఆయన తెలిపారు. శనివారం హైదరాబాద్లో నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, స్వాతంత్ర్యం వచ్చిన 78 సంవత్సరాలు గడిచినా దేశ జనాభాలో దాదాపు 80 శాతం ఉన్న బీసీలకు విద్య, ఉద్యోగ, రాజకీయ రంగాల్లో తగిన ప్రాతినిధ్యం దక్కలేదని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
సామాజిక న్యాయం అనే నినాదంతో ఎన్నో ప్రభుత్వాలు అధికారంలోకి వచ్చినప్పటికీ, బీసీల సమస్యలకు శాశ్వత పరిష్కారం చూపడంలో విఫలమయ్యాయని విమర్శించారు. ముఖ్యంగా దేశాన్ని ఎక్కువ కాలం పాలించిన కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సమగ్ర కులగణన చేపట్టకపోవడం వల్ల బీసీల అసలు సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక పరిస్థితులు బయటకు రాలేదని పేర్కొన్నారు. బీసీలను ఓటు బ్యాంక్గా మాత్రమే ఉపయోగించుకున్నప్పటికీ, చట్టసభల్లో వారికి రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించేందుకు అవసరమైన చట్టపరమైన చర్యలు తీసుకోలేదని విమర్శించారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బీసీల హక్కులపై అవగాహన కల్పించేందుకు “చలో ఢిల్లీ” కార్యక్రమాన్ని చేపడుతున్నామని గుజ్జ సత్యం తెలిపారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో భాగంగా ఢిల్లీలో జాతీయ స్థాయి ఓబీసీ మహాసభ నిర్వహించబడుతుందని, దీనికి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, తెలంగాణ, కర్ణాటక, ఒడిశా, మహారాష్ట్ర రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన మేధావులు, ప్రొఫెసర్లు, సామాజిక కార్యకర్తలు, వివిధ రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు చెందిన ఎంపీలు, కేంద్ర మంత్రులు హాజరవుతారని చెప్పారు.
ఈ మహాసభలో కీలకంగా పలు అంశాలపై చర్చించి తీర్మానాలు ఆమోదించనున్నట్లు ఆయన వివరించారు. అందులో ముఖ్యంగా:
- చట్టసభల్లో బీసీలకు కనీసం 50 శాతం రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు కల్పించడం
- కేంద్రంలో బీసీల కోసం ప్రత్యేక మంత్రిత్వ శాఖ ఏర్పాటు
- జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికన విద్యా, ఉద్యోగ రిజర్వేషన్లను పెంపు
- దేశవ్యాప్తంగా సమగ్ర కులగణన చేపట్టడం
వంటి డిమాండ్లు ప్రధానంగా చర్చకు రానున్నాయని తెలిపారు.
దేశ రాజకీయ వ్యవస్థలో బీసీలకు తగిన ప్రాతినిధ్యం లేకపోవడం వల్లే వారి సమస్యలు పరిష్కారం కాకుండా కొనసాగుతున్నాయని గుజ్జ సత్యం అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. నిజమైన సామాజిక న్యాయం సాధ్యమవ్వాలంటే రాజకీయ అధికారంలో బీసీలకు సముచిత వాటా తప్పనిసరిగా కల్పించాలని ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు.
అదే సమయంలో కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం బీసీల అభ్యున్నతి దిశగా సానుకూల నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటుందనే ఆశాభావాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీ బీసీల ఆకాంక్షలకు అనుగుణంగా కీలక నిర్ణయాలు తీసుకుంటారని విశ్వాసం వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
ఈ సమావేశంలో జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం సౌత్ ఇండియా కార్యదర్శి సూర్యనారాయణ, రాష్ట్ర నాయకులు జెల్ల నరేందర్, సునీల్, మరపంగు వెంకన్న, కర్నాటి లోకేష్ తదితరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
దేశవ్యాప్తంగా కులగణన, రాజకీయ రిజర్వేషన్లు, సామాజిక ప్రాతినిధ్యం వంటి అంశాలు మళ్లీ చర్చకు వస్తున్న తరుణంలో, బీసీ సంఘాల ఆధ్వర్యంలో జరుగుతున్న ఈ “చలో ఢిల్లీ” కార్యక్రమం జాతీయ రాజకీయాల్లో కీలక చర్చకు దారితీయవచ్చని రాజకీయ వర్గాలు భావిస్తున్నాయి.

BC Chalo Delhi Protest Announced for March 30-31
Hyderabad, March 28: The BC Chalo Delhi Protest is set to take place on March 30 and 31 in New Delhi, demanding constitutional rights, political reservations, and social justice for Other Backward Classes (OBCs).
Gujja Sathyam, National Vice President of the National BC Welfare Association and BC JAC Coordinator, announced that the protest will be conducted under the leadership of R. Krishnaiah, Rajya Sabha Member and National President of the association.
BC Chalo Delhi Protest Highlights Lack of Representation
Speaking at a media conference, Gujja Sathyam stated that despite 78 years of independence, nearly 80% of India’s population belonging to BC communities continues to face injustice in education, employment, and political representation.
He criticized successive governments for failing to provide a permanent solution to BC issues. He particularly pointed out that the absence of a nationwide caste census has prevented the true socio-economic conditions of BCs from being recognized.
Key Demands of the BC Chalo Delhi Protest
During the national-level BC convention in Delhi, leaders will discuss and pass resolutions on major demands, including:
Political Reservations for BCs
- 50% reservation for BCs in legislative bodies
Institutional Reforms
- Creation of a separate Ministry for BC welfare at the central level
Education and Employment
- Increase in reservations based on population proportion
Nationwide Caste Census
- Conduct a comprehensive caste census across India
BC Chalo Delhi Protest Aims to Strengthen Social Justice
Gujja Sathyam emphasized that the lack of political representation is the root cause of ongoing issues faced by BC communities. He stated that true social justice can only be achieved when BCs are given a fair share in political power.
He also expressed hope that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take favorable decisions aligned with the aspirations of OBC communities.
Participation from Multiple States in BC Chalo Delhi Protest
The event is expected to witness participation from intellectuals, professors, social activists, Members of Parliament, and Union Ministers from states including Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, and Maharashtra.
Leaders such as Surya Narayana, Jella Narendra, Sunil, Marapangu Venkanna, and Karnati Lokesh will also attend the event.
