సత్య తెలంగాణ హైదరాబాద్ : కేంద్ర ఆర్థిక మంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్ ఈరోజు పార్లమెంటులో ప్రవేశపెట్టిన 2026-27 యూనియన్ బడ్జెట్లో (Union Budget) ఇతర వెనుకబడిన తరగతుల (ఓబీసీల) సంక్షేమానికి తక్కువ నిధులు కేటాయించడం పట్ల జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు గుజ్జ సత్యం తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. హైదరాబాద్లో జరిగిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో మాట్లాడుతూ, దేశ జనాభాలో సుమారు 52 శాతం ఉన్న ఓబీసీలను పూర్తిగా నిర్లక్ష్యం చేసిన ఈ బడ్జెట్ ‘దిశాహీనం, దృష్టిహీనం’ అని ఆయన అన్నారు. “వికసిత భారత్ అని గొప్పలు చెప్పుకుంటున్న మోదీ ప్రభుత్వం, సామాజిక సమానత్వాన్ని పూర్తిగా మరచిపోయింది. ఓబీసీల ఆర్థిక, సామాజిక ఉద్ధరణ లేకుండా దేశ వికాసం ఎలా సాధ్యం?” అని సత్యం ప్రశ్నించారు.
బడ్జెట్లో సామాజిక సంక్షేమ రంగానికి మొత్తం కేటాయింపులు తగ్గినట్టు సత్యం విశ్లేషించారు. ఈ బడ్జెట్ మొత్తం వ్యయం సుమారు రూ.53 లక్షల కోట్లు ఉండగా,
ప్రధాన మంత్రి యంగ్ అచీవర్స్ స్కాలర్షిప్ అవార్డ్ స్కీమ్ ఫర్ వైబ్రెంట్ ఇండియా (PM-YASASVI) పథకానికి ఈరోజు ప్రవేశపెట్టిన 2026-27 యూనియన్ బడ్జెట్లో రూ.2,320 కోట్లు కేటాయించారు.
గత సంవత్సరం (2025-26 బడ్జెట్ లో) ఈ పథకానికి రూ.2,320 కోట్లు కేటాయించగా, ఈసారి అదే స్థాయిలో కొనసాగుతోంది అంటే ఓబీసీల స్కాలర్షిప్లు, అభివృద్ధి పథకాలకు నిధులు పెంచకపోవడం అన్యాయం అని సత్యం వ్యాఖ్యానించారు.
బీసీ విద్యార్థులకు సంబంధించిన ప్రీ-మెట్రిక్, పోస్ట్-మెట్రిక్ స్కాలర్షిప్లు, ఫెలోషిప్లు పరిమిత స్థాయిలోనే ఉన్నాయని ఆయన తెలిపారు. ఉన్నత విద్య, పరిశోధన, విదేశీ విద్యలో బీసీ విద్యార్థులకు మరింత ప్రోత్సాహం అవసరమని సూచించారు. ఉపాధి ఆధారిత పథకాలపై స్పష్టమైన దృష్టి లేకపోవడం ఆందోళనకరమని అన్నారు.
రాజ్యాంగం సమానత్వాన్ని హామీ ఇస్తున్నప్పటికీ, బడ్జెట్ కేటాయింపులు ఆ హామీని ప్రతిబింబించడంలేదని పేర్కొన్నారు. జనాభా ప్రాతిపదికగా నిధుల కేటాయింపు జరగాలని, బీసీల విద్య–ఉపాధి–సంక్షేమానికి ప్రత్యేక బడ్జెట్ విభాగం ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని ఆయన డిమాండ్ చేశారు.

BC Welfare Ignored in Union Budget 2026, Says Gujja Sathyam
Hyderabad: The Union Budget 2026 presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman Budget 2026 has drawn sharp criticism from Backward Class leaders, with concerns over inadequate OBC Budget Allocation India. National BC Welfare Association Vice President Gujja Sathyam alleged that the budget has largely ignored the needs of Other Backward Classes (OBCs), who constitute nearly 52 percent of the population.
Speaking at a press conference in Hyderabad, Sathyam termed the budget as “directionless and visionless,” stating that the government’s claims of building a developed India fail without ensuring BC Welfare Budget 2026 and social equality. He questioned how true development is possible without addressing OBC Funds Allocation Issue and uplifting marginalized communities.
According to Sathyam, the Social Welfare Budget India has seen limited focus, despite the total budget outlay being around ₹53 lakh crore. He pointed out that the PM YASASVI Scheme 2026, aimed at supporting OBC students, has been allocated ₹2,320 crore—unchanged from the previous year. This stagnation, he said, reflects the government’s lack of commitment to enhancing OBC Scholarship India and overall development initiatives.
He further highlighted that BC Students Scholarships India, including pre-matric and post-matric schemes, as well as fellowships, remain insufficient. Stressing the need for better opportunities, Sathyam called for increased support in higher education, research, and overseas studies for OBC students.
Expressing concern over the lack of clarity in BC Employment Schemes India, he said the absence of targeted livelihood programs is alarming. He also criticized the neglect of BC Reservation and Welfare priorities in national planning.
Referring to the Union Budget 2026 Highlights India, Sathyam argued that constitutional guarantees of equality are not reflected in actual allocations. He demanded that funds be distributed based on population proportion and called for a dedicated budget segment focusing on education, employment, and welfare of OBCs.
