రాష్ట్రంలో బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల BC Reservations అంశం మరోసారి తీవ్ర రాజకీయ చర్చకు దారి తీసింది. రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం జారీ చేసిన జీవో 46ను వెంటనే సవరించాలని బీసీ కమిషన్ సూచించినప్పటికీ, ప్రభుత్వం దానిని పట్టించుకోలేదని రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు. న్యాయబద్ధ సంస్థ అయిన బీసీ కమిషన్ సూచనలను కూడా పరిగణనలోకి తీసుకోకపోవడం ప్రభుత్వ నిర్లక్ష్యానికి నిదర్శనమని ఆయన అన్నారు.
స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికల్లో బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లను 42 శాతం నుంచి 22 శాతానికి తగ్గించడాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తూ హైదరాబాద్లో భారీ నిరసన ర్యాలీ నిర్వహించారు. లోయర్ ట్యాంక్ బండ్ నుంచి అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహం వరకు సాగిన ఈ ర్యాలీలో బీసీ సంఘాల నాయకులు, కార్యకర్తలు భారీగా పాల్గొన్నారు. ర్యాలీ అనంతరం నాయకులు అంబేద్కర్ విగ్రహానికి పూలమాలలు వేసి నివాళులర్పించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్యతో పాటు మధుసూదనా చారి, వకుళాభరణం కృష్ణ మోహన్ రావు, జాతీయ కో-ఆర్డినేటర్ డాక్టర్ ర్యాగ అరుణ్ కుమార్, బీసీ జేఏసీ రాష్ట్ర కో-ఆర్డినేటర్ మరియు జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు గుజ్జ సత్యం, బీజేపీ ఓబీసీ మోర్చా రాష్ట్ర అధ్యక్షుడు ఆనంద్ తదితర ప్రముఖులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ, బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్లపై ప్రభుత్వం మొదట జారీ చేసిన జీవో 9పై కోర్టులో స్టే కొనసాగుతున్న సమయంలో మరో జీవో 46ను ఎలా తీసుకువచ్చారో స్పష్టత ఇవ్వాలని ప్రశ్నించారు. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం బీసీలను మోసం చేస్తోందని ఆరోపిస్తూ, వెంటనే జీవో 46ను రద్దు చేసి, 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లతో స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలు నిర్వహించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు. ఎన్నికల ముందు ఇచ్చిన హామీలను నిలబెట్టుకోలేని ప్రభుత్వం ప్రజా ప్రభుత్వం ఎలా అవుతుందని ఆయన నిలదీశారు.
బీసీల ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని దెబ్బతీసే విధంగా ప్రభుత్వం వ్యవహరిస్తోందని, ఈ పరిస్థితి కొనసాగితే ప్రజలు తగిన గుణపాఠం చెబుతారని హెచ్చరించారు. బీసీ వర్గాలపై చిన్నచూపు చూపించే ప్రభుత్వానికి గద్దె దిగాల్సిన పరిస్థితి వస్తుందని అన్నారు.
అనంతరం గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి నిజమైన చిత్తశుద్ధి ఉంటే వెంటనే అఖిలపక్ష ప్రతినిధులను ఢిల్లీకి తీసుకెళ్లి ప్రధాని నరేంద్ర మోదీని కలిసి బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల అంశంపై విజ్ఞప్తి చేయాలని సూచించారు. బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల సాధన కోసం అవసరమైతే ఢిల్లీలోని ఏఐసీసీ కార్యాలయం ముందు పెద్ద ఎత్తున ధర్నా నిర్వహిస్తామని హెచ్చరించారు.
అలాగే, బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల అమలు బాధ్యత కాంగ్రెస్ అగ్రనేత రాహుల్ గాంధీదేనని పేర్కొంటూ, రిజర్వేషన్లను తగ్గిస్తూ బీసీలను మోసం చేస్తూ దేశానికి రోల్ మోడల్గా చెప్పుకోవడం కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వానికి సిగ్గుచేటని విమర్శించారు.
ఈ నిరసన ర్యాలీలో బీసీ నాయకులు రాజ్ కుమార్, నీల వెంకటేశ్, అనంతయ్య, అజయ్, భీమ్ రాజ్, వేణుమాధవ్, ఆశిష్ గౌడ్, నిఖిల్ బాలస్వామి తదితరులు భారీ సంఖ్యలో పాల్గొని తమ ఆగ్రహాన్ని వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
మొత్తంగా, బీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల అంశం తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాల్లో కీలకంగా మారుతూ, రాబోయే స్థానిక సంస్థల ఎన్నికలపై ప్రభావం చూపే అవకాశం ఉందని రాజకీయ వర్గాలు అభిప్రాయపడుతున్నాయి.

Hyderabad: The issue of BC Reservations Telangana has once again sparked political tensions in the state. Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah strongly criticized the state government for ignoring the recommendations of the BC Commission regarding GO 46.

He accused the Congress government of betraying backward classes and demanded the immediate withdrawal of GO 46. He further insisted that local body elections must be conducted with 42% BC reservations as promised earlier.

Krishnaiah warned that if the government continues to undermine BC self-respect, it will face serious consequences. He questioned how a government that fails to fulfill its promises can claim to be a “people’s government.”

Speaking at the rally, Gujja Sathyam urged the state government to demonstrate sincerity by taking an all-party delegation to Delhi to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He also warned that if necessary, protests would be organized in front of the AICC office in Delhi to demand justice for BC communities. He held Rahul Gandhi responsible for ensuring the implementation of BC reservations and criticized the Congress for reducing quotas.
BC Leaders Unite Over Reservations Issue
Several BC leaders including Raj Kumar, Neela Venkatesh, Ananthayya, Ajay, Bheem Raj, Venumadhav, Ashish Goud, and Nikhil Balaswamy participated in large numbers, expressing strong opposition to the government’s decision.
