హైదరాబాద్: రాష్ట్రంలోని బీసీ కాలేజీ హాస్టళ్లు మరియు ప్రీ మెట్రిక్ హాస్టళ్లకు సంబంధించిన మెస్ బిల్లులు (Bills Pending), అద్దె భవనాల బిల్లులు, కరెంట్ బిల్లులు సహా ఫీజు బకాయిలను వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ అధ్యక్షుడు, రాజ్యసభ సభ్యుడు R. Krishnaiah మరియు సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షుడు గుజ్జ సత్యం రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలో వారు తెలంగాణ ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి బట్టి విక్రమార్క ను కలిసి బీసీ విద్యార్థులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న సమస్యలను వివరించారు.
రాష్ట్రంలోని బీసీ కాలేజీ హాస్టళ్లు, ప్రీ మెట్రిక్ హాస్టళ్లకు సంబంధించిన మెస్ బిల్లులు గత ఆరు నెలలుగా చెల్లించకపోవడంతో విద్యార్థులు తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని వారు తెలిపారు. కూరగాయలు, మాంసం, గుడ్లు, పప్పులు, నూనెలు వంటి నిత్యావసర వస్తువుల సరఫరాదారులకు గత ఐదు నెలలుగా బిల్లులు చెల్లించకపోవడంతో సరఫరా నిలిపివేస్తామని వ్యాపారులు హెచ్చరిస్తున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. దీంతో కొన్ని హాస్టళ్లలో కార్యకలాపాలు నిలిచిపోవచ్చనే పరిస్థితి ఏర్పడిందని ఆందోళన వ్యక్తం చేశారు.
రాష్ట్రంలోని చాలా బీసీ హాస్టళ్లు అద్దె భవనాల్లో నడుస్తున్నాయని, అయితే దాదాపు ఎనిమిది నెలలుగా అద్దె బిల్లులు చెల్లించకపోవడంతో భవన యజమానులు హాస్టళ్లను ఖాళీ చేయాలని ఒత్తిడి తెస్తున్నారని తెలిపారు. అలాగే గత సంవత్సరం నుంచి హాస్టళ్లకు సంబంధించిన కరెంట్ బిల్లులు కూడా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్నాయని, పరీక్షల సమయంలో విద్యుత్ సరఫరా నిలిచిపోతే విద్యార్థుల చదువుపై తీవ్ర ప్రభావం పడే ప్రమాదం ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
అదేవిధంగా రాష్ట్రంలో బీసీ విద్యార్థుల కాలేజీ ఫీజుల బకాయిలు సుమారు రూ.6,000 కోట్లకు పైగా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్నాయని తెలిపారు. ఈ బకాయిల కారణంగా వేలాది మంది విద్యార్థులు చదువులు కొనసాగించడంలో తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్నారని వెల్లడించారు. అలాగే విదేశాల్లో చదువుతున్న బీసీ, ఎస్సీ, ఎస్టీ, మైనారిటీ విద్యార్థులకు ఇవ్వాల్సిన స్టైపెండ్ బకాయిలను కూడా వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరారు.
ఇక తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర బడ్జెట్లో బీసీల కోసం కేటాయింపులను రూ.20,000 కోట్లకు పెంచాలని, ప్రస్తుతం పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న సుమారు రూ.6,000 కోట్ల బకాయిలను తక్షణమే విడుదల చేయాలని వారు విజ్ఞప్తి చేశారు. అలాగే విద్యార్థుల ఫీజు రీయింబర్స్మెంట్ బకాయిలుగా ఉన్న సుమారు రూ.8,000 కోట్లను కూడా వెంటనే చెల్లించాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
అదే సమయంలో రాష్ట్రంలోని గురుకులాలు మరియు హాస్టళ్లకు సొంత భవనాలు నిర్మించి మౌలిక సదుపాయాలను మెరుగుపరచాలని వారు ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరారు.
బీసీ విద్యార్థుల విద్యాభివృద్ధి కోసం పెండింగ్ బిల్లులు, ఫీజు బకాయిలను వెంటనే విడుదల చేసి హాస్టళ్ల నిర్వహణను సక్రమంగా కొనసాగించేందుకు చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాన్ని కోరారు.

Hyderabad: National BC Welfare Association President and Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah along with National Vice President Gujja Sathyam demanded the Telangana state government to immediately release pending dues related to BC college hostels and pre-matric hostels.
They met Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and explained the severe problems faced by BC students across the state.
BC Hostel Bills Telangana – Six Months of Pending Mess Charges
The leaders stated that mess bills of BC hostels have not been cleared for the past six months, causing severe hardship to students. Vendors supplying vegetables, meat, eggs, pulses, and oil have not been paid for nearly five months and are now warning of stopping supplies.
This has created a critical situation where hostel operations may come to a halt.
BC Hostel Bills Pending Telangana – Rent and Electricity Dues Mounting
Most BC hostels in the state are functioning in rented buildings. However, rents have not been paid for nearly eight months, leading building owners to pressure authorities to vacate the premises.
In addition, electricity bills have been pending since last year. There are fears that power supply disruptions during examinations could severely affect students’ education.
BC Hostel Bills Telangana – ₹6,000 Crore Fee Dues Impact Students
The leaders revealed that around ₹6,000 crore in college fee dues for BC students are still bills pending. Due to this, thousands of students are struggling to continue their education.
They also urged the government to release pending stipends for BC, SC, ST, and minority students studying abroad.
BC Hostel Bills Telangana – Demand for Budget Allocation Increase
They demanded that the Telangana budget allocation for BC welfare be increased to ₹20,000 crore. Immediate release of ₹6,000 crore pending dues and ₹8,000 crore fee reimbursement arrears was also requested.
BC Hostel Bills Telangana – Call for Infrastructure Development
The leaders further urged the government to construct permanent buildings for gurukuls and hostels and improve infrastructure facilities across the state.
R. Krishnaiah emphasized that releasing pending bills and dues is crucial for ensuring uninterrupted hostel management and the educational development of BC students in Telangana.
