దేశంలో జనాభాలో అత్యధిక శాతం ఉన్న బీసీలకు రాజకీయ, విద్యా, ఉద్యోగ రంగాల్లో న్యాయం చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేస్తూ ఈ నెల 30, 31 తేదీల్లో ఢిల్లీలో భారీ స్థాయిలో బీసీ చలో ఢిల్లీ కార్యక్రమం 2026 (BC Chalo Delhi 2026) నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు గుజ్జ సత్యం బీసీ జేఏసీ వెల్లడించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ద్వారా ఢిల్లీలో బీసీ నిరసన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా బీసీ రాజకీయ అవగాహన ఉద్యమం మరింత బలోపేతం చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం ఆధ్వర్యంలో, ఆర్ కృష్ణయ్య బీసీ ఉద్యమం నాయకత్వంలో నిర్వహించనున్నట్లు ఆయన స్పష్టం చేశారు. సోమవారం నిర్వహించిన మీడియా సమావేశంలో మాట్లాడిన గుజ్జ సత్యం, దేశంలో దాదాపు 80 శాతం ఉన్న ఓబీసీలు ఇప్పటికీ అన్యాయానికి గురవుతున్నారని ఆవేదన వ్యక్తం చేశారు. భారతదేశంలో ఓబీసీ జనాభా గణాంకాలు స్పష్టంగా ఉన్నప్పటికీ, వారికి తగిన బీసీల హక్కులు మరియు ప్రాతినిధ్యం లభించడం లేదని అన్నారు.
స్వాతంత్ర్యం వచ్చిన 78 సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తయినా, సామాజిక న్యాయ ఉద్యమం భారత్లో పూర్తిగా సాకారం కాలేదని విమర్శించారు. ముఖ్యంగా భారతదేశంలో కులగణన చర్చ ఎన్నో సంవత్సరాలుగా కొనసాగుతున్నప్పటికీ, ఇప్పటివరకు సమగ్ర కులగణన జరగకపోవడం వల్ల బీసీల అసలు పరిస్థితులు వెలుగులోకి రాలేదని తెలిపారు.
ఈ నేపథ్యంలోనే దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఓబీసీ రిజర్వేషన్ల డిమాండ్ మరింత బలంగా వినిపించేందుకు ఈ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహిస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. ఢిల్లీలో జరగనున్న ఢిల్లీలో ఓబీసీ జాతీయ సదస్సులో కీలక అంశాలపై చర్చించి తీర్మానాలు ఆమోదించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

“BC Chalo Delhi 2026: OBCs Demand 50% Reservation, Caste Census & Political Rights”
A massive BC Chalo Delhi Program 2026 will be held on the 30th and 31st of this month in New Delhi, demanding justice for Backward Classes (BCs) in political, educational, and employment sectors, announced BC JAC Coordinator Gujja Sathyam. He stated that the event will include a large-scale protest in Delhi and aims to strengthen the BC political awareness movement across the country.
The program is being organized under the leadership of the National BC Welfare Association, headed by R Krishnaiah, a prominent leader of the BC movement. Speaking at a media conference on Monday, Gujja Sathyam expressed concern that despite OBCs constituting nearly 80% of India’s population, they continue to face injustice in social, educational, employment, and political spheres.
He pointed out that even though OBC population statistics in India clearly indicate their majority, they are still denied adequate rights and political representation. He criticized successive governments, stating that even after 78 years of independence, the goal of social justice in India has not been fully achieved.
Satyam also highlighted the ongoing caste census debate in India, stating that the absence of a comprehensive caste census has prevented the true socio-economic conditions of BCs from coming to light.
In this context, the BC Chalo Delhi Program 2026 aims to intensify the demand for OBC reservations across the country. As part of the event, a National OBC Seminar in Delhi will be conducted, where key issues will be discussed and resolutions passed.
The major demands to be addressed in the seminar include:
- 50% political reservation for BCs
- Establishment of a separate ministry for BCs at the central level
- Increase in reservations in education and employment based on population
- Conduct of a nationwide comprehensive caste census
Gujja Sathyam emphasized that the lack of adequate political representation for BCs in the country’s political system is the main reason their issues remain unresolved. He stressed that meaningful social justice can only be achieved by ensuring proportional political power for BC communities.
Intellectuals, social activists, and public representatives from states like Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Odisha, and Maharashtra are expected to participate in the event. Political analysts believe that the BC Chalo Delhi Program 2026 could trigger a significant national debate on reservations, caste census, and BC representation.
