నీటి సంరక్షణతోనే ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అభివృద్ధి – రైతులకు చంద్రబాబు పిలుపు
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు నీటి సంరక్షణపై రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకు కీలక పిలుపునిచ్చారు. అనంతపురం జిల్లా యాడికిలో జరిగిన నీటి భద్రత – సాగునీటి సంఘాల బాధ్యత కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్న సీఎం, రైతులు మరియు సాగునీటి సంఘాలతో సమావేశమై ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ నీటి నిర్వహణ, మైక్రో ఇరిగేషన్, డ్రిప్ ఇరిగేషన్ వంటి అంశాలపై విస్తృతంగా మాట్లాడారు.
నీటి సంరక్షణపై చంద్రబాబు పిలుపు
“బ్యాంక్లో డబ్బు దాచుకున్నట్లు నీటిని భూమిలో దాచుకోవాలి” అని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు స్పష్టం చేశారు. నీటి సంరక్షణ, భూగర్భ జలాల పెంపు, సాగునీటి నిర్వహణ కోసం రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా 100 రోజుల యాక్షన్ ప్లాన్ అమలు చేస్తున్నామని తెలిపారు.
పరిగెత్తే నీటిని నిలబెట్టడం, నిల్వ చేసిన నీటిని భూమిలోకి చొప్పించడం అత్యంత ముఖ్యమని ఆయన చెప్పారు.

మైక్రో ఇరిగేషన్లో ఏపీ నంబర్ వన్
మైక్రో ఇరిగేషన్ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, డ్రిప్ ఇరిగేషన్ ప్రయోజనాలు, హార్టికల్చర్ అభివృద్ధి విషయాల్లో రాష్ట్రం దేశంలో ముందంజలో ఉందని సీఎం తెలిపారు. ప్రస్తుతం మైక్రో ఇరిగేషన్ కోసం రూ.1,031 కోట్లు ఖర్చు చేస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు.
డ్రిప్ ఇరిగేషన్ వల్ల రాయలసీమ హార్టికల్చర్ హబ్గా మారిందని, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ హార్టికల్చర్ ఉత్పత్తి దేశంలో అగ్రస్థానంలో ఉందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
భూగర్భ జలాల పరిస్థితి
గత ఏడాది వేసవి ముందు 8 మీటర్లు, వేసవి తర్వాత 3 మీటర్ల లోతులో భూగర్భ జలాలు ఉన్నాయని సీఎం వివరించారు. గతంలో 13 మీటర్ల లోతులో ఉండే నీరు ఇప్పుడు 11 మీటర్లకు తగ్గిందని తెలిపారు.
భూగర్భ జలాల పెంపు, నీటి భద్రత ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, రైతులకు సాగునీరు అందించడమే లక్ష్యమని చెప్పారు.
రాష్ట్రానికి అవసరమైన నీటి పరిమాణం
రాష్ట్రానికి మొత్తం 1,300 టీఎంసీల నీటి అవసరం ఉందని సీఎం వివరించారు.
- ఖరీఫ్కు: 547 టీఎంసీలు
- రబీకి: 343 టీఎంసీలు
- తాగునీటికి: 158 టీఎంసీలు
- పరిశ్రమలకు: 28 టీఎంసీలు
అనంతపురం వరకు ఈ ఏడాది 74 టీఎంసీల నీరు తీసుకువచ్చామని తెలిపారు.
అమరావతి రాజధానిపై స్పష్టం
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతి, అమరావతి అభివృద్ధి, AP capital Amaravati అంశాలపై సీఎం చంద్రబాబు మాట్లాడుతూ, “ఇప్పుడు గర్వంగా మన రాజధాని అమరావతి అని చెప్పే పరిస్థితి వచ్చింది” అన్నారు.
పార్లమెంట్లో వైసీపీ మినహా అన్ని పార్టీలు అమరావతికి మద్దతు ఇచ్చాయని తెలిపారు.

రాయలసీమలో ప్రతి ఎకరానికి నీరు అందించడం తన బాధ్యత అని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. రైతులకు సాగునీరు, నీటి ప్రాజెక్టులు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్, జలధార ప్రణాళిక ద్వారా ప్రతి రైతుకు లాభం చేకూర్చేలా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని తెలిపారు

AP Water Management Chandrababu Focus on Water Conservation, Micro Irrigation & Farmers Growth
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged people to prioritize water conservation and AP water management, emphasizing that water should be saved like money in a bank. During his visit to Yadiki in Anantapur district, he participated in the Water Security and Irrigation Associations Responsibility Program and interacted with farmers and irrigation bodies.
Water Conservation & AP Water Management Plan
Highlighting the importance of water conservation in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu stated that the government has launched a 100-day action plan for effective AP water management and groundwater recharge.
He stressed the need to:
- Stop runoff water
- Store standing water
- Recharge groundwater
- Strengthen reservoirs and irrigation systems
He also mentioned initiatives like check dams, farm ponds, micro irrigation, and drip irrigation, which are key to improving water management in AP.
Micro Irrigation & Drip Irrigation Leadership
The CM said Andhra Pradesh is leading the country in micro irrigation Andhra Pradesh with an investment of ₹1,031 crore.
He emphasized that drip irrigation benefits have transformed Rayalaseema into a horticulture hub, boosting Andhra Pradesh agriculture and farmer incomes.
Groundwater Recharge & Irrigation Goals
Focusing on groundwater levels in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu noted that water levels have improved but still need attention through better water conservation and irrigation planning.
He added that proper groundwater recharge and water management strategies can eliminate water scarcity in the state.
Water Requirement for AP Development
The CM revealed that Andhra Pradesh requires nearly 1,300 TMC water annually:
- Kharif: 547 TMC
- Rabi: 343 TMC
- Drinking water: 158 TMC
- Industries: 28 TMC
He also stated that 74 TMC water has been brought to Anantapur, strengthening Rayalaseema irrigation projects.
Amaravati Capital & AP Development
On Amaravati capital, Chandrababu said that today people can proudly say Amaravati is the capital of Andhra Pradesh.
He highlighted that most political parties support Amaravati development, reinforcing AP development and infrastructure growth.
