అమరావతి రాజధాని పనుల్లో జాప్యం కాంట్రాక్టర్లపై సీఎం చంద్రబాబు ఆగ్రహం, వేగం పెంచాలని ఆదేశం
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాజధాని అమరావతి నిర్మాణ పనుల్లో జాప్యంపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు తీవ్ర అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అమరావతి నిర్మాణం వేగవంతం చేయాలని, ప్రభుత్వం నిర్దేశించిన గడువులోపు అన్ని పనులు పూర్తి చేయాలని కాంట్రాక్ట్ సంస్థలకు కఠిన ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. అమరావతి రాజధాని అభివృద్ధిపై జరిగిన సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో కాంట్రాక్టర్లు, ఉన్నతాధికారులతో సీఎం కీలక చర్చలు జరిపారు.
అమరావతి నిర్మాణ పనుల్లో ఆలస్యం అస్సలు సహించబోమని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు హెచ్చరించారు. ముఖ్యంగా అమరావతి ప్రాజెక్ట్లో ఇసుక, గ్రావెల్ సరఫరా సమస్యలు తలెత్తకుండా చూడాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు. ఇసుక కొరత, గ్రావెల్ సరఫరా లోపం వల్ల అమరావతి నిర్మాణ పనులు ఆగిపోవడం జరగకూడదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అమరావతి నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన మెటీరియల్ సరఫరా కోసం గ్రీన్ ఛానెల్ ఏర్పాటు చేయాలని సూచించారు.
కృష్ణా జిల్లా అటవీ శాఖ అధికారుల కారణంగా గ్రావెల్ సరఫరాలో ఇబ్బందులు ఎదురవుతున్నాయని అధికారులు సీఎం దృష్టికి తీసుకెళ్లగా, దీనిపై చంద్రబాబు ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. అమరావతి రాజధాని నిర్మాణానికి అడ్డంకులు కలిగించే ఎవరినైనా వదిలిపెట్టమని, కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకోవాలని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అమరావతి అభివృద్ధి పనులు ఎటువంటి ఒత్తిళ్లకు లోనుకాకుండా కొనసాగాలని హితవు పలికారు.
ఇటీవల అమరావతి నిర్మాణ ప్రాంతాల్లో జరిగిన అగ్ని ప్రమాదాలపై కూడా సీఎం చంద్రబాబు తీవ్రంగా స్పందించారు. కాంట్రాక్ట్ సంస్థల నిర్లక్ష్యం వల్లే ఈ ఘటనలు చోటుచేసుకున్నాయని మండిపడ్డారు. అమరావతి నిర్మాణ సామగ్రి భద్రత బాధ్యత కాంట్రాక్ట్ సంస్థలదేనని స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఘటనల తర్వాత సమయానికి స్పందించకపోవడం వల్ల ప్రభుత్వంపై విమర్శలు వస్తున్నాయని అన్నారు.
అమరావతి రాజధాని నిర్మాణ పనుల్లో పారదర్శకత, బాధ్యతాయుత వైఖరి అవసరమని సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పేర్కొన్నారు. నిర్మాణ సంస్థలు అనుభవజ్ఞులైన ప్రాజెక్ట్ మేనేజర్లను నియమించుకోవాలని సూచించారు. అమరావతి ప్రాజెక్ట్ ప్రతిష్టను దెబ్బతీసే నిర్లక్ష్యాన్ని అస్సలు సహించబోమని హెచ్చరించారు.

Amaravati Capital Works Delay Chandrababu Naidu Issues Strict Warning
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has taken a strong stand against delays in Amaravati Capital construction works, signaling zero tolerance for inefficiency in the prestigious Amaravati project. Emphasizing the importance of Amaravati Capital development, the CM clearly instructed that all Amaravati construction works must be completed within the government’s fixed timelines.
During a comprehensive review meeting on Amaravati Capital works, Chandrababu Naidu closely examined Amaravati construction progress, Amaravati infrastructure development, and the overall Amaravati project status. Senior officials, contractors, and project stakeholders participated in the meeting, where the Chief Minister expressed serious concern over the slow pace of Amaravati construction.
Highlighting the urgency of Amaravati Capital development, Chandrababu Naidu stated that delays in Amaravati works are unacceptable and warned contractors to accelerate Amaravati construction immediately. He stressed that Amaravati infrastructure development is crucial for Andhra Pradesh’s growth and that any negligence in Amaravati project execution will invite strict action.
A key concern discussed in the meeting was the shortage of sand and gravel affecting Amaravati construction. The Chief Minister directed officials to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of construction materials for Amaravati Capital works. He underlined that material shortages should not become an excuse for delays in Amaravati development.
Officials informed that issues with the Krishna district forest department were creating hurdles in gravel supply for Amaravati construction. Reacting sharply, Chandrababu Naidu ordered the implementation of a “green channel” system to fast-track the transportation of sand, gravel, and other materials required for Amaravati Capital development. He also warned that any individual or department obstructing Amaravati project progress will face strict action.
The Chief Minister also reviewed recent fire accidents reported in Amaravati construction areas. Expressing dissatisfaction, Chandrababu Naidu criticized contractors for negligence in handling Amaravati construction materials. He questioned the accountability of contractors, asking whether they are not responsible for safeguarding Amaravati project assets.
Chandrababu pointed out that such incidents are damaging the credibility of Amaravati Capital development and leading to criticism of the government. He also noted that the delayed response from contractors and officials after these incidents has worsened the situation, affecting public perception of Amaravati infrastructure development.
Addressing the political angle, the CM stated that some groups are attempting to exploit these incidents to tarnish the image of Amaravati Capital and the government. He advised officials and contractors to remain alert and proactive in managing Amaravati construction works to prevent such situations.
Further, Chandrababu Naidu directed construction companies involved in Amaravati Capital works to appoint experienced and capable project managers to ensure efficient execution of Amaravati construction. He warned that lack of professionalism and poor management in Amaravati project implementation will not be tolerated.
Reiterating his commitment to Amaravati Capital development, Chandrababu Naidu concluded that the government is determined to complete Amaravati construction as planned and transform Amaravati into a world-class capital city. He made it clear that strict monitoring of Amaravati works will continue and any delays in Amaravati project progress will attract serious consequence
