హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో పేదల సొంతింటి కలను సాకారం చేసే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం మరో కీలక అడుగు వేసింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి ఆలోచనలకు అనుగుణంగా ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపడుతున్నామని రాష్ట్ర గృహ నిర్మాణ శాఖ మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్‌రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. హైదరాబాద్‌లోని కుత్బుల్లాపూర్ నియోజకవర్గం పరిధిలో ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణానికి మంగళవారం శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్‌రెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ.. ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణాన్ని ఏడాదిలోపే పూర్తి చేసి లబ్ధిదారులకు ఇళ్ల తాళాలు అందిస్తామని ప్రకటించారు. ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణ పనులను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసే కాంట్రాక్టర్లకు ప్రత్యేక ప్రోత్సాహకాలు అందించనున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.

వేగంగా నిర్మిస్తే కాంట్రాక్టర్లకు ప్రత్యేక ప్రోత్సాహకాలు

ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణం నిర్ణీత గడువు కంటే ముందే పూర్తిచేసే కాంట్రాక్టర్లను ప్రోత్సహించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక ప్రోత్సాహకాలను ప్రకటించినట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. నిర్మాణాన్ని ఒక నెల ముందుగానే పూర్తి చేస్తే రూ.45 లక్షలు, రెండు నెలల ముందుగానే పూర్తి చేస్తే రూ.90 లక్షల ప్రోత్సాహకం అందిస్తామని చెప్పారు.

ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణంలో వేగంతో పాటు నాణ్యతకు కూడా అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యం ఇస్తున్నామని మంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు. నిర్మాణ పనులను లబ్ధిదారులు ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిశీలించాలని సూచించారు.

7 వేలకుపైగా దరఖాస్తులు.. 5,218 మంది అర్హులు

కుత్బుల్లాపూర్ నియోజకవర్గంలోని గాజులరామారం ప్రాంతంలో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల కోసం 7 వేల మందికి పైగా దరఖాస్తు చేసుకున్నారని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి తెలిపారు. దరఖాస్తులను పరిశీలించిన అనంతరం 5,218 మందిని అర్హులుగా గుర్తించినట్లు చెప్పారు.

అర్హులైన వారిలో 480 మంది లబ్ధిదారులను బహిరంగ లక్కీ డ్రా ద్వారా ఎంపిక చేసినట్లు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు. లబ్ధిదారుల ఎంపిక ప్రక్రియను ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో పారదర్శకంగా నిర్వహించామని తెలిపారు.

ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల లబ్ధిదారుల ఎంపికలో ఎలాంటి అవకతవకలకు తావులేకుండా పారదర్శక విధానాన్ని అమలు చేస్తున్నామని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.

మూడు విడతల్లో మరిన్ని ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లు

కుత్బుల్లాపూర్‌లో మూడు విడతల్లో మరిన్ని ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్లను నిర్మించనున్నట్లు మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్‌రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. ఇందుకోసం ప్రస్తుతం 7.5 ఎకరాల స్థలం అందుబాటులో ఉందని చెప్పారు.

అవసరమైన చోట ప్రభుత్వ భూములు, హౌసింగ్ శాఖకు సంబంధించిన భూములను గుర్తించి మరిన్ని ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణానికి వినియోగిస్తామని మంత్రి వివరించారు.

పేదల సొంతింటి కలను సాకారం చేస్తాం

పేదల సొంతింటి కలను కార్యరూపంలోకి తీసుకురావడమే ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల పథకం ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి అన్నారు. అర్హులైన పేద కుటుంబాలకు సొంత ఇల్లు అందించేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుబడి ఉందని చెప్పారు.

ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణంలో నాణ్యత విషయంలో ఎలాంటి రాజీ ఉండదని మంత్రి స్పష్టం చేశారు. నిర్మాణ పనులను అధికారులు నిరంతరం పర్యవేక్షించాలని ఆదేశించారు. లబ్ధిదారులు కూడా తమ ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణ పనులను ఎప్పటికప్పుడు పరిశీలించాలని సూచించారు.

23 నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిరంతర ప్రక్రియగా ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్

తెలంగాణలోని 23 అసెంబ్లీ నియోజకవర్గాల్లో నిరంతర ప్రక్రియగా ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్ నిర్మాణాన్ని చేపడుతున్నామని మంత్రి పొంగులేటి శ్రీనివాస్‌రెడ్డి తెలిపారు. పేదలకు మెరుగైన నివాస వసతులు కల్పించడంతో పాటు, పట్టణ ప్రాంతాల్లో సమగ్ర గృహ నిర్మాణాన్ని ప్రోత్సహించే విధంగా ఇందిరమ్మ టవర్స్‌ను అభివృద్ధి చేస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.

ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్‌రెడ్డి ఆలోచనలకు అనుగుణంగా తెలంగాణలో ఇందిరమ్మ ఇళ్ల నిర్మాణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని వేగవంతం చేస్తున్నామని మంత్రి తెలిపారు. అర్హులైన ప్రతి కుటుంబానికి సొంతింటి కలను నెరవేర్చే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు సాగుతోందని స్పష్టం చేశారు.

Indiramma Towers in Quthbullapur to Be Completed Within One Year: Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has taken another major step towards providing permanent housing to economically weaker families, with the foundation stone laid for Indiramma Towers in Quthbullapur on Tuesday.

Telangana Housing Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the construction of Indiramma Towers was being undertaken in line with the vision of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy. He said the government aims to complete the project within one year and hand over the keys to eligible beneficiaries.

Speaking at the foundation stone-laying programme in the Quthbullapur Assembly constituency, Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said the government was committed to turning the dream of owning a house into reality for poor families across Telangana.

Indiramma Towers to be completed within one year

The minister said the Indiramma Towers construction would be completed within the targeted period of one year. Once construction is completed, the houses will be handed over to the selected beneficiaries, he said.

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy also announced incentives for contractors who complete the Indiramma Towers construction ahead of schedule. Contractors completing the project one month before the deadline will receive an incentive of ₹45 lakh, while those completing the construction two months ahead of schedule will be eligible for an incentive of ₹90 lakh.

The government is using the incentive mechanism to accelerate Indiramma Towers construction while ensuring that quality standards are maintained, the minister said.

Over 7,000 applications received in Gajularamaram

A large number of applications were received for houses under the Indiramma Housing Scheme in Gajularamaram in the Quthbullapur constituency.

According to Minister Ponguleti, more than 7,000 people applied for houses, of whom 5,218 applicants were identified as eligible after scrutiny.

From among the eligible applicants, 480 beneficiaries were selected through an open lucky draw. The minister said the beneficiary selection process was conducted online in a transparent manner.

The government has been focusing on transparency in the selection of beneficiaries under the Indiramma Houses scheme, he said.

More Indiramma Houses planned in three phases

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said more Indiramma Houses would be constructed in Quthbullapur in three phases.

He said approximately 7.5 acres of land is currently available for the housing programme. The government is also examining other government lands and lands under the Housing Department to identify additional sites for construction.

The availability of land will enable the government to expand the Indiramma Housing Scheme and accommodate more eligible beneficiaries in the constituency, officials said.

Quality construction will be given priority

The Telangana government will give the highest priority to quality in Indiramma Houses and Indiramma Towers construction, Minister Ponguleti said.

He directed officials to closely monitor construction works and ensure that the houses are built according to prescribed standards. Beneficiaries, too, were advised to regularly inspect the progress of construction works.

The minister said the objective of the Indiramma Housing Scheme is not merely to construct houses but to provide poor families with safe and permanent homes.

Indiramma Towers planned across 23 Assembly constituencies

Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy said Indiramma Towers construction is being taken up as a continuous process across 23 Assembly constituencies.

The initiative is aimed at expanding housing opportunities for economically weaker sections and helping eligible families achieve their long-standing dream of owning a house.

The minister reiterated that the Telangana government, under Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, was committed to implementing housing programmes in a transparent and effective manner.

With the foundation stone laid in Quthbullapur, the Indiramma Towers project is expected to become another significant component of the Telangana government’s housing programme.
