హైదరాబాద్: తెలంగాణలో మౌలిక వసతుల అభివృద్ధికి కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రజాప్రభుత్వం అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తోందని రాష్ట్ర మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి అన్నారు. కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రభుత్వం ఏర్పడి డిసెంబర్ నాటికి మూడేళ్లు పూర్తవుతున్న సందర్భంగా ప్రభుత్వం చేపట్టిన అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలను ఆయన వివరించారు. దేశంలో ఎక్కడా లేని పథకాలను తెలంగాణలో ప్రజాప్రభుత్వం అమలు చేస్తోందని పేర్కొన్నారు.
సోమవారం ఏబీఎన్ ఆంధ్రజ్యోతితో మాట్లాడిన మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి.. తెలంగాణ అభివృద్ధిలో రహదారుల నిర్మాణం కీలకమని చెప్పారు. రోడ్లు బాగుంటేనే రాష్ట్రం వేగంగా అభివృద్ధి చెందుతుందని అన్నారు. రాష్ట్రంలోని ప్రతి మండల కేంద్రాన్ని జిల్లా కేంద్రాలతో అనుసంధానించేలా రహదారులను అభివృద్ధి చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
రెండేళ్లలో మండల కేంద్రాలకు డబుల్ రోడ్లు
తెలంగాణలోని ప్రతి మండల కేంద్రం, జిల్లా కేంద్రానికి డబుల్ రోడ్లు నిర్మించే దిశగా ప్రభుత్వం చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోందని మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి వెల్లడించారు. రెండేళ్లలో ఈ రహదారి పనులను పూర్తి చేయాలనే లక్ష్యంతో ప్రభుత్వం ముందుకు సాగుతోందని చెప్పారు.
హడ్కో రుణ సహాయంతో హెచ్ఏఎం (HAM) రోడ్ల పనులు చేపడుతున్నట్లు మంత్రి తెలిపారు. రహదారుల అభివృద్ధి ద్వారా గ్రామీణ ప్రాంతాలు, మండల కేంద్రాలు, జిల్లా కేంద్రాల మధ్య రవాణా సౌకర్యాలు మరింత మెరుగుపడతాయని అన్నారు.
హైదరాబాద్–విజయవాడ ఆరు లైన్ల రహదారి
తెలంగాణలో మరో కీలక రహదారి ప్రాజెక్టుపై మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి కీలక ప్రకటన చేశారు. హైదరాబాద్–విజయవాడ ఆరు లైన్ల రహదారి నిర్మాణానికి రూ.12,073 కోట్లను ఖర్చు చేయనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
ఈ ప్రాజెక్టుకు సంబంధించిన టెండర్లను వచ్చే నెల అక్టోబర్లో పిలవనున్నట్లు మంత్రి వెల్లడించారు. జనవరిలో రహదారి పనులను ప్రారంభించి కేవలం 18 నెలల్లో పూర్తి చేయాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకున్నట్లు చెప్పారు.
హైదరాబాద్–విజయవాడ మార్గం తెలంగాణకు అత్యంత కీలకమైన రహదారి కావడంతో ఆరు లైన్ల రహదారి నిర్మాణం పూర్తయితే ప్రయాణ సమయం, రవాణా సామర్థ్యం, పారిశ్రామిక మరియు వాణిజ్య కార్యకలాపాలకు మరింత ఊతం లభించే అవకాశం ఉంది.
నల్లగొండ అభివృద్ధికి రూ.1,000 కోట్లు
తన నియోజకవర్గం, నల్లగొండ జిల్లా అభివృద్ధిపై కూడా మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. నల్లగొండలో రూ.1,000 కోట్లతో అభివృద్ధి పనులు చేపట్టనున్నట్లు తెలిపారు.
రహదారులు, మౌలిక వసతులు, ఇతర అభివృద్ధి కార్యక్రమాలకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తున్నట్లు చెప్పారు. నల్లగొండ అభివృద్ధికి ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేక దృష్టి సారించిందని మంత్రి పేర్కొన్నారు.

రాజకీయంగా కూడా మంత్రి కోమటిరెడ్డి వెంకట్రెడ్డి ఆసక్తికర వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. బీఆర్ఎస్ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ కేటీఆర్ నల్లగొండ జిల్లాలో పాదయాత్ర చేస్తే తాను కూడా పాదయాత్ర చేస్తానని అన్నారు.

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has announced a series of major infrastructure and road development projects across the state, stating that the Congress government is giving top priority to strengthening road connectivity and accelerating development.
Speaking to ABN Andhra Jyothy on Monday, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the Congress-led people’s government would complete three years in office by December and asserted that the government was implementing several welfare and development programmes aimed at benefiting the people of Telangana.
₹12,073 Crore Hyderabad–Vijayawada Six-Lane Highway
One of the major announcements made by Komatireddy Venkat Reddy was regarding the proposed Hyderabad–Vijayawada six-lane highway project.
According to the minister, the project is estimated to cost ₹12,073 crore, and tenders are expected to be invited in October. The government plans to commence construction work in January and complete the project within 18 months.
The Hyderabad–Vijayawada route is one of the important road corridors connecting Telangana with Andhra Pradesh. The proposed six-laning is expected to improve connectivity, facilitate smoother movement of vehicles and strengthen transport and economic activity along the corridor.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy emphasised that better roads are essential for Telangana’s overall economic and infrastructure development.
Double Roads to Connect Mandal and District Headquarters
The Telangana government is also planning to improve road connectivity between mandal headquarters and district headquarters.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that double roads would be constructed to connect mandal centres with district headquarters within two years. The initiative is aimed at improving connectivity between rural and urban areas and providing better transportation infrastructure to people across Telangana.
The minister said road development would remain a key priority of the government, as improved road connectivity plays an important role in the growth of industries, businesses, agriculture and other economic activities.
HAM Road Projects with HUDCO Funding
The minister further revealed that the government is taking up HAM road projects with HUDCO loans.
The Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) is being used for developing road infrastructure, with the government seeking financial support to accelerate construction and improve the quality of major roads.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy stressed that road development is directly linked to the development of the state. He said Telangana can achieve faster economic growth when its road network and basic infrastructure are strengthened.
₹1,000 Crore Development Package for Nalgonda
The minister also announced major development plans for Nalgonda district.
According to Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, development works worth approximately ₹1,000 crore will be taken up in Nalgonda. The proposed investment is expected to cover infrastructure and other development requirements in the district.
Nalgonda has strategic importance because of its connectivity with Hyderabad and the Vijayawada corridor. The proposed road and infrastructure projects could further improve connectivity and support economic activity in the region.
Komatireddy Challenges KTR Over Nalgonda Padayatra
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy also made a political statement during the interaction.
Responding to the possibility of BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) undertaking a padayatra in Nalgonda district, the minister said that if KTR conducts a padayatra in Nalgonda, he too will undertake one.
The remark is likely to add another political dimension to the ongoing debate over development and political activities in Nalgonda.
Congress Government Completes Three Years in December
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said the Congress people’s government in Telangana will complete three years in December.
He claimed that the government has been implementing welfare and development schemes that, according to him, are not available elsewhere in the country. The minister said the government would continue focusing on public welfare, infrastructure development and improving basic facilities.
The road development announcements come at a time when Telangana is seeking to strengthen its transportation infrastructure and improve connectivity between major cities, districts and mandal headquarters.
