మట్టి వినాయకుడినే పూజిద్దాం.. ప్రకృతిని కాపాడుదాం హరీశ్రావు
సిద్దిపేట: వినాయక చవితి సందర్భంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ మట్టి వినాయకుడినే పూజించాలని మాజీ మంత్రి, సిద్దిపేట ఎమ్మెల్యే తన్నీరు హరీశ్రావు పిలుపునిచ్చారు. మట్టి వినాయకుడి విగ్రహాల వినియోగం ద్వారా పర్యావరణాన్ని పరిరక్షించడంతో పాటు ప్రజల ఆరోగ్యాన్ని కాపాడుకోవచ్చని ఆయన అన్నారు.
సిద్దిపేటలోని శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి ఆలయంలో ఆదివారం అమర్నాథ్ అన్నదాత సేవా సమితి ఆధ్వర్యంలో మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి హరీశ్రావు హాజరై భక్తులకు మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాలను పంపిణీ చేశారు. అనంతరం ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాల పంపిణీ కార్యక్రమాన్ని అభినందించారు.
ప్రతి ఏడాది 10 వేల మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాల పంపిణీ
ప్రతి సంవత్సరం 10 వేల మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాలను పంపిణీ చేయడం అభినందనీయమైన కార్యక్రమమని హరీశ్రావు అన్నారు. ప్రజల్లో మట్టి వినాయకుడిపై అవగాహన పెంచుతూ పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు కృషి చేయడం మంచి విషయమని పేర్కొన్నారు.
వినాయకుడి విగ్రహాన్ని మట్టితో తయారు చేసే సంప్రదాయం మన సంస్కృతిలో ఎంతో పురాతనమైనదని హరీశ్రావు గుర్తుచేశారు. పార్వతీదేవి నలుగు మట్టితోనే వినాయకుడిని తయారు చేసిందని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
రసాయన విగ్రహాలతో పర్యావరణానికి నష్టం
రసాయనాలతో తయారు చేసిన వినాయక విగ్రహాలను నిమజ్జనం చేయడం వల్ల పర్యావరణానికి తీవ్ర నష్టం కలుగుతుందని హరీశ్రావు అన్నారు. ముఖ్యంగా రసాయనాలు, ప్లాస్టర్ ఆఫ్ పారిస్తో తయారైన విగ్రహాల వల్ల నీటి వనరులు కలుషితమయ్యే ప్రమాదం ఉందని తెలిపారు.
మట్టి వినాయకుడిని పూజించడం వల్ల ప్రకృతికి, దేవుడికి ఆనందం కలగడంతో పాటు ప్రజలకు ఆరోగ్యం చేకూరుతుందని హరీశ్రావు పేర్కొన్నారు. అందువల్ల ప్రతి కుటుంబం మట్టి వినాయకుడిని పూజించే సంప్రదాయాన్ని అలవర్చుకోవాలని ఆయన సూచించారు.
ప్రతి ఊరిలో మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాలు
ప్రతి గ్రామంలో మట్టి వినాయక విగ్రహాలను ఏర్పాటు చేసి పంపిణీ చేస్తామని ఎవరైనా ముందుకు వస్తే వారికి తన వంతు సహకారం అందిస్తానని హరీశ్రావు హామీ ఇచ్చారు. ప్రతి ఊరికి మట్టి వినాయకుల విగ్రహాలను ఏర్పాటు చేస్తామని చెబితే పర్మినెంట్ షెడ్డును తన సొంత ఖర్చుతో ఏర్పాటు చేయిస్తానని ఆయన ప్రకటించారు.
పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణలో ప్రజల భాగస్వామ్యం అత్యంత కీలకమని హరీశ్రావు అన్నారు. పర్యావరణహిత వినాయక చవితి, మట్టి వినాయకుల ప్రోత్సాహం కోసం ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ ముందుకు రావాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
పూలను పూజించే గొప్ప సంస్కృతి తెలంగాణది
తెలంగాణ సంస్కృతి, సంప్రదాయాల్లో ప్రకృతికి ప్రత్యేక స్థానం ఉందని హరీశ్రావు అన్నారు. ఈ ప్రపంచంలో పువ్వులను పూజించే గొప్ప సంస్కృతి మన తెలంగాణ సంస్కృతి అని పేర్కొన్నారు. ప్రకృతిని ఆరాధించడం, పర్యావరణాన్ని కాపాడటం తెలంగాణ ప్రజల జీవన విధానంలో భాగమని ఆయన వివరించారు.
వినాయక చవితి వంటి పండుగలను భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో నిర్వహించడంతో పాటు పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణకు ప్రాధాన్యత ఇవ్వాలని ఆయన సూచించారు. మట్టి వినాయకుడు, పర్యావరణ పరిరక్షణ, ఆరోగ్యం అనే అంశాలను ప్రజలు దృష్టిలో పెట్టుకోవాలని హరీశ్రావు కోరారు.

Siddipet: Former Telangana Minister and Siddipet MLA T. Harish Rao has called upon people to worship clay Ganesh idols and celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi in an eco-friendly manner. He stressed that choosing clay Ganesh idols can help protect nature, water bodies and public health while preserving the traditional spirit of the festival.
The remarks were made during a clay Ganesh idol distribution programme held on Sunday at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple in Siddipet. The programme was organised by the Amarnath Annadatha Seva Samithi, which distributed clay Ganesh idols to devotees.
Harish Rao participated in the programme and appreciated the organisers for promoting eco-friendly Ganesh celebrations and encouraging people to choose clay Ganesh idols instead of idols made using chemical-based materials.

Harish Rao highlighted the traditional belief associated with the origin of Lord Ganesha. He said that Parvati Devi created Lord Ganesh using clay, underscoring the cultural importance of worshipping a Ganesh idol made from natural material.
He appealed to devotees to return to this traditional practice and give preference to clay Ganesh idols during Ganesh Chaturthi.
