మైత్రీవనం అగ్నిప్రమాద ఘటనా స్థలాన్ని హైడ్రా కమిషనర్ రంగనాథ్ ఈరోజు(శుక్రవారం) పరిశీలించారు. బాధితులతో మాట్లాడి వివరాలు అడిగి తెలుసుకున్నారు. హర్ష మెస్ను కూడా రంగనాథ్ పరిశీలించారు. అనంతరం ఆయన మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ.. మైత్రీవనం సమీపంలో ఉన్న కేఎస్ఆర్ భవనానికి అనుమతులు ఉన్నాయా లేదా పరిశీలిస్తామన్నారు. నాలాను ఆక్రమించి భవనం కన్స్ట్రక్షన్ జరిగితే కచ్చితంగా కూలగొడతామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. కేఎస్ఆర్ భవనం షాప్స్ పక్కనే ఉన్న హర్ష డీలక్స్ మెస్ను కూడా పరిశీలించామన్నారు. అగ్నిప్రమాదంపై పోలీసుల విచారణ జరుగుతోందని తెలిపారు.హర్ష మెస్ డీలక్స్లో స్పార్క్ వల్ల ప్రమాదం జరిగిందా?.. షార్ట్ సర్క్యూట్ వల్ల జరిగిందా అన్నది పోలీసుల దర్యాప్తులో తేలుతుందని రంగనాథ్ వెల్లడించారు. నాంపల్లి బిల్డింగ్ అగ్నిప్రమాదం అనంతరం ఎన్ఓసీలు జారీ చేశామన్నారు. ప్రమాదం ఎలా జరిగిందన్న అంశంపై దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగుతోందని చెప్పారు. అగ్నిప్రమాదం జరిగిన భవనానికి ఎంట్రీ అండ్ ఎగ్జిట్ పాయింట్లు ఒకే వైపు ఉన్నాయన్నారు. బిల్డింగ్కు ఫైర్ సేఫ్టీ నిబంధనలు లేవని తెలిపారు. హర్ష మెస్ వల్ల అగ్ని ప్రమాదం జరిగిందని బాధితులు చెప్తున్నారని.. ప్రమాదానికి గల కారణాలు పోలీసుల దర్యాప్తులో వెల్లడవుతాయని రంగనాథ్ పేర్కొన్నారు.

HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath Inspects Maitrivanam Fire Accident Site
HYDRAA Commissioner Ranganath visited the Maitrivanam fire accident site on Friday and interacted with the affected victims to gather details about the incident. He also inspected the Harsha Deluxe Mess located near the affected area.
Speaking to the media, Ranganath said that authorities would verify whether the KSR Building near Maitrivanam had obtained the necessary permissions. He warned that if the building was found to have been constructed by encroaching on a drain (nala), it would be demolished without hesitation.
He stated that the Harsha Deluxe Mess, situated adjacent to the shops in the KSR Building, was also inspected. The police are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Ranganath said it is yet to be determined whether the accident was caused by a spark or a short circuit at the mess, and the findings will emerge through the police investigation.
He further noted that No Objection Certificates (NOCs) were issued following the Nampally building fire incident. The investigation into the exact cause of the Maitrivanam fire is still ongoing.
According to Ranganath, the building where the fire occurred had only one side serving as both the entry and exit point. He pointed out that the building lacked proper fire safety measures. He added that some victims have alleged that the fire originated from Harsha Deluxe Mess, but the actual cause will be confirmed only after the police complete their investigation.
